Pgrading to 4.5.0+?!

Is this even possible on this device? The guys at rogers told me i could put a 16GB card in my phone, but i highly doubt that now considering my phone's device soft is v4.2.0... Ummm will it/is it possible to upgrade?!

What kind of device are you using?  You're posting in the 8900 forum and if you say you're OS is 4.2 then you don't have an 8900.
With OS 4.2.0 the max size card is 2Gb.  If you can look in Options >About and tell us what kind of device you have we can direct you to the proper download to upgrade your OS.  All devices with a media card now support up to 16Gb and in most cases, 32Gb with an OS upgrade.

  • Just "pgraded" (not!!!) to 3.6.10. Cannot get any e-mail in my inbox on webmail.

    Microsoft Explorer works fine.
New 64 bit machine with Windows 7
Perhaps a problem with provider, but started as soon as I agreed to accept 3.6.10

  • Pgrading Web as from SP 9 to SP 11

    Hello folks,
I want to upgrade the Web AS from Sr1 (SP 9) to SP 11 can i do this directls or must i first install SP 10 ? i haven't find any note to this topic ?
    Ciao Francesco

    Hi Francesco & Tiest,
you can upgrade your server directly from sp9 to sp11 if its a java server. So no need to go for sp10 first.
For sp11, get the req. SAR files from service market place.
    Check the following discussion-

  • I was trying to sync my iphone4 with itunes and my phone was pgraded to ios version, i now cannot make call on my iphone because my sim cannot be recognised again. what do i do plsssssss.

i was trying to sync my iphone4 with itunes and my phone was upgraded to ios5 version, i now cannot make call on my iphone because my sim cannot be recognised again. what do i do plsssssss.

As peter says, this is evidence that your phone was previously hacked and was re-locked by the upgrade.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can unlock it.  There is nothing else we can suggest.

  • Sound stopped working

    Hi.
    It used to work.
I have problem with sound. Yesterday It does work, but today it stopped working. I'm not sure if it is because of some updates, I haven't noticed anything connected to sound. The only difference is that I uninstalled mplayer2. Then it stopped working - but I'm not sure if it was because of this.
    I tried:
    reinstall alsa, alsa-plugins, alsa-utils, vlc, mplayer2
    install pulseaudio, oss (without configuration)
    reboot
    unmute all chanels in alsamixer
    connecting headphones
    aplay -L
    null
Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture)

Same for me after system upgrade on 2013-05-01:
    pacmatic -Syu
Since then, no Audio output via HDMI anymore. Mainboard is Intel DH67BL.
Before upgrade, it worked. Audio via normal audio connector also still works.
    $ aplay -D plughw:0,3 /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav
Wiedergabe: WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate: 48000 Hz, mono
But on the connected (via HDMI) TV is nothing to hear. Video on TV via HDMI works. Checked also alsamixer volume setting.
With this, I hear the sound on the speakers connected with the Mainboard:
    $ aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav
Wiedergabe: WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate: 48000 Hz, mono
    $ aplay -l

I've read this, but did not help:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ta … chitecture
Here the list of upgraded packages:
    grep 2013-05-01.*pgraded /var/log/pacman.log
    http://pastebin.com/vXjp3Bw4
I also downgraded to the kernel version before upgrade:
    pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.7.4-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
But that did not solve the problem. Also using linux-lts kernel did not help.

  • Error message while importing upgraded LR3 catalog to new LR4 catalog

I'm using a Win7 x64 system, 3Ghz Xeon dual core, 8 GB ram system.  After upgrading a LR3 catalog to LR4, it would not display all images in GRID VIEW in the upper level folders.  i.e. D:/Photos/2011.  It will display the images in the 2011 folder but not in the Photos folder.  And yes I do have the "Show Photos in SubFolders" selected.
By importing this updated LR4 catalog to a new LR4 catalog the display problem disappears.  However, I get an error message at the end of the import saying that "Lightroom could not import this catalog because of an unknown error."  This occurs after it says it is importing updated keywords.  But, as compared to the LR3 catalog, the new LR4 catalog shows the correct number of images in the catalog, shows the correct number of collections and seems to have all the keywords in the keyword list panel.
Because there seems to be some sort of catalog database upgrade error, I am hesitant to use LR4 for production at this time.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this error might be, or a work around for the error so I can be confident in my LR4 catalog?
    Thanks,
    Tony...

I've pgraded to LR4.1 RC1 and then created a new catalog, imported from my original LR3 cat. It updated that temporary cat and then imported to the new LR4 cat without issues or error messages. I then just did an upgrade to my original LR3 cat and saved it in another location. Upgrade went without hitch or error messages and I am now using that catalog.  So far, so good with the new candidate.

  • I am on OS X 10.5.8 but want to upgrade to mavericks.

I am on OS X 10.5.8 but want to upgrade to mavericks.
I purchased mountain lion so I could install it and then upgrade to mavericks but can't redeem my purchase voucher as I have to do it in the Mac App Store which I can't access on 10.5.8.
    Can anyone help?!

You need to update to 10.6.8 in order to advance to 10.7, 10.8, or 10.9.

  • Mac: OS X Lion(10.7) CS4/CS5/CS5.5

    Hi all,
I have currently a plugin that I build it on my Mac with OSX 10.6(Snow Leopard) and I can build it for 3 versions of CS including: CS4/CS5/CS5.5. Now I have to cach up with some of other Mac development stuff and need to upgrade to Lion and Xcode 4.1, Any idea/ thoughts on this case to be able to keep my old stuff (specially CS4) still compileable? I know I can have different version of Xcode on the same partition but not sure with pgrading to Lion what would be the restriction/losing with my situation?
    Thanks,
    Kamran

Well, having some of your files written in big endian doesn't mean you can't read or write them with a program written in little endian.
David, that was not what I implied. But if they rewrite it for Intel, they have to take very good care to swap to/from native to file endianess for every value they write (much like htonl() et. al are used in network programming). By releasing just a PPC binary, there was no need for conversion because native and file endianess happened to be identical.
Adobe should develop a universal binary version of their CS4 odfrc-cmd, the little endian part doing the swap to keep things in big endian.
I full heartedly agree. And I suggest everyone in need of this reports this issue to Adobe dev support. I'm not sure how much detail I'm at liberty to reveal on a public forum, but my report did not come to them as a surprise, and a little community pressure may help speed things up.
Is there somewhere a description of what's in those files? Perhaps it is not so complicated to develop a little endian version of that tool...
Not really. As Dirk suggested, it's basically Rez on steroids. Regrettably one has to parse the file down to every single int value that's defined in all of the many structures, and byte-swap just those. After that you have to put it all back together. It would be a huge pain, but not impossible.

  • WLC - block MAC Address

    Wireless system with 3 x WLC-4402, version 6.0.199.4, about 100 AP, about 300 clients.
I need to block some clients that are bombarding me with frequent and repeated "Signature attack" (Auth flood).
I tried to put the MAC Address in the black-list (Disabled Client), but it seams non work.
    Other suggestion ?
    Claudio

If its an authentication issue, then you can enable client exclusion on the WLAN also.  3 failures will automatically put them in the exculsion list.  Not that I like pgrading, but the latest versions of 7.0.x are pretty good, but you need to make sure your AP's support that code.  6.x is pretty old.

  • CS5 Upgrade Issues from DW8

I have recently upgraded from DW8 to CS5. This occurred when I purchased a new computer with the OS going from XP Pro to Win 7 Ultimate (remained with 32 bit instead of going up to 64 bit). DW8 didn't like the new OS. Now at this stage I am still carrying maintenance out on the DW8 created sites (haven't created any new CS5 ones yet) and I am having trouble with the PVII Menu system which I was forced to upgrade to Version II (to cope with the New Everything) however, more importantly, CS5 will not let me edit the Editable Section of the Template pages  as DW8 used to do (as soon as I click on the Editable area, the whole sheet "greys out" and locks me out). I can disengage the Template, however if I do that I can't reattached the page back to the Template. Are you aware of a work around, because if not, it looks as though I am going to have to waste hours re-creating the page as a CS5 page to overcome this issue. Your comments will be appreciated. Hope you might have a solution. With over sixty pages on one site, I am not looking forward too that I can assure you....:-(
Your assistance and advice would be very much welcomed.
    Kind regards,
    John C

    Hi SE,
    Looks as though Project Seven made an easy $65.00 from me...:-(  I have attached the Code for the index.htm page below which is the page I am having the trouble with;
I have at this point not üpgraded the PVII Menu System on the DWT Template even though I have already installed the Extension into Dreamweaver. I am thinking that I will just ditch the PV V.1 Menu and replace the Menu with PVII on the DWT Template
