Photo are not showing in view area when looking in folder for picture

When i have a photo folder open the pictures are not showing where i can see them without having to open the file, they used to
after i updated my touch smart the photo are is gone

I found this tip from a 2011 discussion on the same topic.
Open iCal and backup or export your entries. Make a note of the fie name and location, you're going to need them in a minute. Once your backup/export is completed, close the iCal application.
Open Finder and remove everything inside the "Username/Library/Calendars" folder. For instance, if your username is "Joe", then move everything inside the "Joe/Library/Calendars" folder.
Open the iSync application. It's located in the "/Applications/" folder. Once iSync is opened, go into the iSync Preferences (iSync -> Preferences) and push/click the "Reset Sync History" button. Then, close the iSync application.
Re-Open the iCal application and Import (File -> Import) a new calendar. When prompted, use your notes from Step #1 to select the file your created earlier. Once completed, close the iCal application (you should have all of your calendar entries back.)
Open the iTunes application and connect your Apple iPhone to the computer.
Within the Advanced section of the Info tab for the Apple iPhone, check the box the overwrites/replaces the Calendar data on the Apple iPhone.
Click the Apple/Sync button. New, modified and deleted entries should now be syncing correctly.
That's it! You should be all set and iTunes, iCal and our Apple iPhone should all be playing nicely as friends again. We've used the exact method to repair our own Apple iPhone at least once... maybe even twice.

Images and graphics are not showing in certain emails when using Firefox. They show in Google Chrome.

Certain emails from f.chtah.com(image info) are not showing graphic or image content. This happens in both gmail and hotmail. If opened in Google Chrome, they show up.
I had my computer wiped clean last week and everything was showing up ok again until this morning. The same emails are having the problem that was going on for the previous month.
I make sure that all updates are installed.

I figured it out. Clear your cookies. The company that hosts the images and the stylesheets updated their domain name- i figured this out in Chrome, it was showing a different URL for the css- http://ebm.cheetahmail.com
After all the cookies (Privacy Tab in preferences) and reloading the pages the images and stylesheets started working again.
I hope this helps other folks.

Annotations and highlights are not showing up. Are they lost?

I made a ton of annotations and highlight on my ereader through digital editions, and now they aren't showing up anywhere. Help!

My Airdrop Photos are not showing the correct date when I receive them from my Family.

When I recieve photos via Airdrop or Shared Photo Stream they are not in the correct order in my Camera roll. The Dates are off. What is happening here?

You don't need to delete photos from your camera roll to save on backup sizes, you can turn individual items on and off for back up in your iCloud back up settings.
Apple States that the last 3 back ups are accessible, which means the photos from your back up may not be removed immediately.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

Photo edits not showing up in iPhoto when using PSE

I have recently purchased Photoshop Elements 13 and have set iPhoto to use it as my editor. That is working, however, when I save the file, the new file does not show up in iPhoto. It does, however, show up in Organizer. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks Larry, I don't doubt that I'm not doing it correctly, but I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have selected PSE to be my external editor in the iPhoto preferences and when I select a photo in iPhoto to edit, it comes up in PSE. I edit the photo and select save (or click on the X in the top right corner of the image, I have tried both and gotten the same results both ways. I get a dialog box that indicates PSE is going to save the file in psd format. I have let it do that and I have also changed to JPG, neither has made any difference. I have also gone in and changed the preferences in PSE to replace the original file on the advice of help at Elements Village. It didn't change the file in iPhoto before that change and it hasn't changed it after that change either.
The file I originally was working with was in RAW format, and I read in another thread that there was no way for PSE to save the edited RAW file back into iPhoto directly, that it would need to be saved somewhere else, such as to the desktop, and then imported back into iPhoto. So, I edited a jpg file and saved it and that edited file did not show up in iPhoto either. From reading other threads, it seems to work for other people, but I don't know what I and doing wrong or what else to try. I have spent a ton of time trying to get this to work because I don't care for the PS Organizer and would prefer to use iPhoto to organize my photos and PSE and ACR to edit them, but so far I am not having any luck with it other than saving the edited file somewhere else and then importing it again into iPhoto, which is a pretty clunky way to have to do it.

Blackberry Classic does not show read in outlook when read on device for emails

The issue is that when an email is read on blackberry it does not show read on outlook on laptop and vice versa. Any ideas?

Need to know what type of mail server you are using. If it is Outlook on Exchange then they both will sync up, ie both show read when opened. If you are using POP email then it will not sync, you will need to open your mail on both to show as read. This is not a BB issue, it;s the nature of the beast with any phone. Now if your email provider supports IMAP,then set your BB up that way and it will synce so all mailboxes look the same.

Suddenly - CD's are not showing up in Itunes when I load them in the drive

Not sure what happened - and I assume this is my fault. I already loaded my new IPod Nano with several albums worth of songs. Today I purchased a few more albums..but for some reason, when I popped the cd's in the computer's drive - the music stopped 'appearing' in the Itunes window. I de-installed and re-installed ITunes 3 times. No affect. Now - I DID delete the "Recently added" file because it was so full of stuff. ANd it did not get added back when I re-instaaled the software. Help? I also cannot seem to just "Import cd" though I have read the directions.

I, too, am having this issue. The last 4 CD's I've imported have been just like this - probably during the last couple months or so. I import the CD, everything looks normal and then I can't see the music in iTunes using any of the views - artist, genre, album, etc. Quitting and re-starting iTunes makes no diffference. Today, after reading dandeadman's post, I turned off iTunes Match. When I turned it on again, I got an iTunes 5002 error. I quit iTunes and when I started it again, I could see the album via the various iTunes views. I turned on iTunes Match and this time I got no error, and the matching process worked, and I could still see the album after it finished. Completely unacceptable behavior. It's bad enough when you're adding CD's at a relatively low rate (1 every month or so) as I am; if I were new to iTunes trying to transfer in my library and this is what happened, I'd never go through with it. It appears to be linked to iTunes Match in some way and, assuming that's going to remain a key part of Apple's strategy, can we please have a fix for this soon, Apple?

i have just bought I phone 4 S. ilove the phone. i am using smart phone for the very first time. i got my contacts from my Nokia 6500 to my i phone. Now the thing is i want to make groups in my i phone. by in contact all my contacts are showing in:
1- all contacts
2- Icloud contacts.
how do i add from all contacts or icloud contacts in the groups that i made like Family, Friends and others.
i would like my phone to ring diffrent when some one from diffrtent group call or i want to send SMS to certain group.

My imports are not showing up in Photos or Events

My imports are not showing up in Photos or Events. The only place I can see them is in the "Last Import" folder. When I try to re-import them it pops up the Duplicate warning which means they are in the library but not showing up. Any ideas?

If they are in last import then they should be there - check the date on one of the photos in last import and look for that date in your library - last import, photos and events are simply different ways of viewing the same photos - if they are there in one view they are there in all views - somewhere
Select a pic in Last Import and Right-Click on it. Choose 'Show Event' from the menu. This will bring you to the Event containing the photo.
If the photo is in Last Import, then the photo is in the Library somewhere, just not where you expect it to be. Usual causes: the date on your camera is wrong, and so the date on the photo is wrong, or the sorting of the Events has changed (View Menu -> Sort Events)
