Photo button is missing in itunes

The photo button is missing in itunes. How do I add it or is there another way to add pictures to my iPhone?

It is not missing but is on the far right hand side. So you may have to widen your window to see it.

  • "burn disc" button is missing in iTunes preferences

I upgraded to 6.0.1 a few months back and haven't had time to actually burn anything (busy with life). Today, I wanted to burn a CD and went to iTunes preferences, and the "burn disk" button with all the options for MP3 and CD is missing.
I went to HELP looking to see if they moved it, but the instructions indicate it's supposed to be there under preferences.
    What gives?
    Thanks

Hi Joe - Can you find what you're looking for via iTunes / Preferences / Advanced / Burning?

  • The download button is missing in iTunes

I have been trying to re download some iTunes purchases that the kind iTunes support folks restored the ability for me.  However when I launch iTunes on my iPad there is no download button in the lower right to allow me to start the process.  It's there on my wife's Gen 1 iPad but not on my Gen 2 iPad. Any idea how to get the download button back in iTunes or how to do a restore JUST on the iTunes app?

Double tap Home button and delete iTunes and App Store apps from task-bar.
Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)
Note: You will not lose any data.

  • No photo button i itunes

Every time they upgrade itunes something is missing. I can't  find photo button in itunes. I am so frustrated about this.Stop messing around with itunes.Sick an tired to lelearn everthing from the begining

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you want to sync photos to your iPad then connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and the Photos tab should show on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen - if it doesn't show then is your iTunes screen wide enough to fit all of the tabs on (it's the last tab that shows, so it may not show if your screen isn't wide enough)

  • Where is the photos button in the new version of iTunes?  Need to sync photos from teh computer but photos buton doesn't exit or is hidden.

Where is the photo button in the new version of iTunes?  I need to sync photos from the computer?

On iTunes 11 you can re-enable the sidebar via View > Show Sidebar. To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from you library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

  • HT4236 I don't have a photos button on itunes. how do I get that to display?

No photos button shows up on the menu on itunes. How can I get that button to appear so I can manage my photo syncing?

You have to have a compatible app on your computer that can handle photos.

  • I am wanting to import photos  from my imac to my ipad.  the help page directed me to open the photo button under the device listing on itunes.  There is not a photo button and I am connected to the computer.  It does show buttons for books, movies, etc.

I want to import photos from iphoto to my ipad.  The help button said to press the photo button under the device list.  There isn't a photo button shown.  Could it be hidden?

If you connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, on the right-hand side of iTunes (not on the left) there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders or albums/events to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

  • HT4236 No Photo Button in iTunes 11.0.1.12

I've upgraded to iTunes 11.0.1.12. With this version, the Photo button has disappeared from the library list. Under the Library list, (top left corner) I have Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, Apps. Where's the Photo choice?

Sounds like you don't have the menu or sidebar showing.
In iTunes at the top left of the screen is a small box with a down arrow.  Click it, and select "Show Menu Bar".
Now you should see the Menu.
Click on "View" and the click "Show sidebar"
Connect your iPad and you should see it in the sidebar after about 5 seconds.
    Click it.
Now you have your Sync sections and Photos is one of them

  • Back Up Button Is Missing

After upgrading itunes I cant back up now since my back up button is missing. Anyone know how to fix this?

First things first if your iPhone cannot be recognised by your computer then you wont be able to get those photos off the iPhone.
In the event that it can be recognised you could import the photos to your PC/Mac. Follow the article below to do this:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices
Or you could do a back up on iTunes of the iPhone which would save the photos in your camera roll. The article below will guide you on how to do this:

  • All my photo's are missing from iPhoto and I'm getting a message "your photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable"

Yesterday when I opened iPhoto all of my photo's were missing.  After many hours of frustrating time looking how to resolve, I decided to try again this morning.  When I tried to open iphoto, I got the message I referenced above regarding the library is either in use or has become unreadable.
My photos are not in iPhoto anymore.  There's nothing there.  iphoto acts like its never even been set up.    I have iPhoto '11 version 9.4.3. I have OS X Lion version 10.7.5.  However, when I go to "All My Files" and then under "images", there are over 10,000 images.  I see my photos (I guess it's all of them - i have no idea how many there were) and other "images" also.  When i go to "pictures" I only see the 15 or so items I have scanned.  In "iPhoto Library", there is 1 picture of what looks like a deck of playing cards with flowers on them - I don't know where that came from.  But also in "iPhoto Library"  under the heading "desktop", it shows a size of over 27GB and under "kind" it says "package".  Still under desktop and "Photo Booth Library" it shows 53GB and under "kind" it says "Photo Booth Library".  Before I opened iPhoto to view my photo's, I went to "empty trash" yesterday (not in iPhoto) and it showed over 65,000 items to delete.  There were no more than 200 that I could actually see.  So, I don't understand.  I let it delete a couple of thousand before I stopped it because I didn't know what it was doing.  I know - not too smart.  I don't know if that has anything to do with iPhoto or not; I'm just throwing that out there.  Today I went to "empty trash" and it now shows the 200 items that I can see in there.  Don't know what happened.
I do have a time capsule but not sure if I’m using it correctly. If you were to tell me to restore to a certain point, I’d have to be walked thru the process.
I downloaded “iPhoto Library Manager”, not exactly sure how to use it, but got a message basically saying the library nor the database could be loaded and that album data file for the library “iPhoto Library” could not be read.
I’ve spent hours and hours and hours searching the web for answers but I’m scared to do much of anything thinking I could end up losing all my photos if I haven’t already.
    Please help!
    Thank you!
    James

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • How do I get photos from my pc to Itunes to put on my IPAD?

How do I get photos from my pc to Itunes to put on my IPAD?

    Hey Sandersincp,
These are the steps for adding digital photos to an iPad using iTunes:
Connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer and select your device.
    Click the Photos button.
Select “Sync photos from” and choose an album or folder from the pop-up menu.If you’re using Adobe Photoshop Album or Adobe Photoshop Elements, you can export photos directly from those applications to your device by choosing Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose whether to move all your folders or albums, or only selected folders or albums.
To also move the full-resolution versions of these photos to your iPod, select “Include full-resolution photos.”Note:   To move the photos from your iPod to another computer, select this option, and also select “Enable disk use” in the Summary pane. This option isn’t available on iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad. For more information, see Use iPod as an external hard drive.
Click Apply. If it’s the first time you’re adding photos to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad, it might take a while, but subsequent syncs should be faster.
