Photo stream on windows 7 64 bit

I have loaded and unloaded ICloud several times. I get all of the icons up except photo stream. I do I get photo stream? I can see the pictures on my iphone and ipad, but not on my PC

Photo stream on windows not working

Since a couple of days the photo stream between my devices and my pc is not working.
i cheked all the settings on the devices and in icloud for windows... all is correct
but the photos still don't appear automatically on my pc...

the page is not that much helpful.
i tried to add a photo to the the stream from my PC. i can see the photo on my iPhone but not in the folder "My Photo Stream" on the laptop...

You can't. iCloud, and therefore photo stream, requires Vista SP2 or higher.

HT201077 iCloud Photo Stream on Windows no longer Streams

I have a Windows PC, and have used iCloud Photo Stream for a while. A few months ago, the streams just stopped appearing. I have logged out, then back into iCloud. I have changed the folders to be used for Photo Streams. But, no matter what I do, I can no longer get streaming on my Windows PC. The streaming between my iPhone and iPad works fine. I suspect that this tool place with a recent upgrade of either iTunes or iCloud, but this problem has been with me for six months or longer, and I would have expected others to have had the same problem (so that it could be fixed).

I think I have found the reason for our problems? Photo Stream will only upload photos with a "Date Taken" date higher than the date when you initialised or when you last reset your Photo Stream. So if you are trying to upload older photos it won't work, They should be fresh out of the oven to be Photo Streamed.
I have managed to Photo Stream older pictures by using windows to copy and remove all Properties and Personal Information then setting the Date Taken to todays date before mobing the photo into the Upload folder. Still, it seems a little hit and miss so there's probably something else being checked to validate photos can be Photo Streamed.
So iCloud will move photos between your Windows 7 machine and your iOS5 device but it's a little picky about which ones it will allow. If you can figure out what exactly are the parameters please do tell.

Deleting photos from photo stream and windows xp

I have two problems
1. How to delete pictures from photo stream ? Do we have an option of stopping some photos from going to photostream ?
2. While I cloud works good between my iPad and iPhone, nothing happens on my windows xp ? Why is it so and is there any solution for this ?

Sharing Photo Stream with Windows user

Greetings. I am trying to help a family member join Shared Photo Streams on their Windows PC so they can see the photos of their grandkids. We installed iCloud Control Panel 3.1 on his Windows 7 notebook, and I created an iCloud account for him using my MacBook. We can log into the account on iCloud.com, so we know it has been set up. We checked the Photos boxes in iCloud Control Panel.
I added him to an existing Shared Photo Stream using iPhoto on my MacBook, and he received the invitation via email, but when he clicks on the link to join, all he gets is a page that says you can only join a Shared Photo Stream using one of a list of Apple devices. I have read all the troubleshooting posts, and we even tried the hint that suggests killing all the Windows proceeses and restarting, but no joy. I'm successfully sharing the stream with other Apple users, so the basic sharing is working.
I know we could set up the Photo Streams as public Web pages, but we'd really prefer not to have the baby pictures available to anyone who happens to find the URL. Some posts I've read seem to indicate that other people have this working, but we just can't figure it out. Any help from someone who has this working with the software combo above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How can I import photos from photo stream to windows photo gallery? These photos are not on the camera roll on my iPad but are from another iPad on the same iCloud account.

I work at a Learning Center that has 12 iPads on the same iTunes and iCloud account. Each classroom uses an iPad assigned to their room to take photos. Each of these photos then shows up in the Photo Stream in all 11 of the other iPads. I have no trouble importing photos that are in the Camera Roll of any individual iPad, but I have not been able to import photos from the Photo Stream if the picture was not taken on the specific iPad I am using. It is not feasible for me to collect all 12 iPads everyday to import everyones photos, so how can I use one "master" iPad that will let me import photos from the Photo Stream since it has all the photos that everyone has taken?

You downloaded an iCloud backup to your PC? I assume you mean you downloaded your photo stream to your PC. What you may not know is that photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days. After that, they are deleted from photo stream but not from any device that already has them (such as your phone). When you enabled photo stream on your PC you only had access to photos from the last 30 days since the others are no longer there, even though they remain on your phone.
To transfer these to your computer at this point you have two options:
Save them to the camera roll on your phone (by opening the my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. (You can only import photos to your computer from the Camera Roll album.) Then import them to your computer as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083; or
Use an app like PhotoSync, which can wirelessly transfer photos from any album between your devices/computers, including the my photo stream album.
In the future, always import your photos from your camera roll to your computer via USB before deleting them. Don't rely on photo stream or your iCloud backup to save your photos.

How to open Photo Stream in Windows

I took a bunch of pictures and video on my iPhone 3Gs (5.0) and don't know how to open Photo Stream on my PC (Win 7). I can see a folder in my pictures library, but I can open the ithmb files. Thank You.

In my PC, on the Photo Stream folder appears no pictures, I've sync a lot of times the iPad to iTunes and the pictures doesn't appear. I have no longer space on my iPad and I need to have my PhotoStream on my laptop! Thanks

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

HT201077 my photo stream on windows doesn't recieve my photo album. why?

My photo stream back up is "on" on my device, however none of the photos is backed up on my PC.
It has been like that for a few months.
I cleared space on my iCloud storage, i did reset on the iCloud settings page, and still none.
I could use some help..

I'm having a similar issue to plymouth1620.
I have a PC and I downloaded the iCloud Control Panel on my machine. Photos are being directed/downloaded to the file path indicated at setup. Seemed to work at first.
Issue #1: However, only 207 of 308 photos downloaded from my phone. Oddly enough a photo taken this morning downloaded to PC file path without issue. It seems to be the previously taken photos (and videos) that will not transfer.
Issue #2: AND they were all upside down. Each photo needed to be manually rotated.
Issue #3: When I log in to icloud.com, Photo Stream does not appear, only Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Work show up. Is that normal?
Any suggestions??

TS4403 unable to view photo stream in windows

I am unable to view my photostream on my pc. I keep getting an error that iphotostream stopped working do I wish to debug or cancel I'm not sure how to fix this. It also says that photostream is not enabled in the windows folder, but it has been enabled in the icloud control panel. Thanks.

You first need to go into the System/iCloud preference pane and activate PhotoStream:
Then you'll be able to activate it in iPhoto.
