Photo Uploading issue

I have turned on icloud photo library and it will only upload 30 photos out of 1,300 photos on my iphone. I have tried turning icloud photo library off and back on again but have the same problem. So it is working but only for a small fraction of my photos. How do I get it to upload all my photos?
I am running IOS 8.2 on my iPhone 6 plus.

Can I also ask you what happens when I turn on iCloud Photo Library on my iPad. I had 1,300 photos on my camera roll on my iPhone (which are uploading now) but only 1,100 on my iPad. Will iCloud Photo Library put 1,300 on my iPad (I have download and keep on device ticked on my iPhone and will tick that I my iPad as well as I want to see them offline on both devices and am trying to use iCloud Photo Library as a method to sync both devices) or will it reduce the photos on icloud down to the 1,100 that are on my iPad when I switch it on that device.
Thanks

  • Photo upload issue with Facebook

Am having a problem uploading photos to FaceBook via Lightroom's publish interface. It shows as authorized (which was a problem in itself for a while), but I get a generic "Photo Upload Failed" error from LR4. In addition, JPEGs exported from LR4 will not upload via FaceBook's own interface. This is all new since upgrading to LR4. Windows 7. While it looks like a FaceBook issue, it started with LR4 installation and no one else seems to be having a problem uploading images to FB via Lightroom or otherwise.

Day 3 of this issue and still no repsonse from Blackberry. I guess we found out who Blackberry really cares about. March 2013 - you will be losing me as a Blackberry user.

  • Photo upload issue

I connected my Canon camera to the computer to upload.  I opened my image capture and selected the photos to begin uploading and pressed import to iPhoto.  As one of my options, as the photos upload they delete off my camera to save me time.  It got within 20 photos of being done (out of about 200) and it stopped and told me that iPhoto had run out of room and told me to make more.  I clicked ok and went into my photos and realized that NONE of the photos had been uploaded to iPhoto.  They are no longer on my camera and I can't find them on my macbook.  I don't understand why it did this because before I started uploading, I only had about 300 pictures in iPhoto.  Can anyone help me recover my photos?

    1. How much free space on your Mac?
    2. You can try recover your photos from the card with an app like MediaRecover
    3. This "delete as you go" workflow is unwise. Never let your computer delete any data automtically without you first checking that the tramsfer has gone corrctly.

  • Photo uploading issues

I'm having problems uploading photos to several websites, such as Xanga and Facebook. Whenever I upload a picture that is in portrait view, it comes out in landscape view instead. These are photos that I take with my camera, so when I upload them onto my computer, they are already correctly oriented. (Pictures taken on PhotoBooth upload fine though.) I do not use iPhoto, and am currently running OSX 10.6, but I've had this problem with 10.5 as well. I've also tried using Firefox and Chrome, but both have the same result. If anyone has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

No I haven't...should that stop me from being able to now? I went in to see an Apple Genuis and they said there was nothing they could do...in the short minute they gave me...HALP.  All I can think of is emailing the pictures to myself, which is taking forever.  I'm not sure how to get the videos to myself...I need them desperatly for school! Any suggestions?
And as for the memory, I was told all I can do is reset my phone...ugh apple.

  • Employee photo upload issue

    Hello Experts,
i am uploading a photo wih the help of abaper but problem is when i run t code OAC0 and create repository for that
storage type should be type as R/3 database .but when I  am selecting it is not coming another option is comes HTTP CONTENT SERVER.
Wiil u plz help me out?
    i used below step
Now Create the A2 repository with Tcode: OAC0
While creating the repository, keep the Document Area blank, Storage type as R/3 database, Rep. Sub-type will appear as Normal by default, Version No. as 0046 and in Contents table put 'SDOKCONT1' as the table name.
    Thanks and Regards
    Jaydeep Jadhav

U can follow the following steps.
    Configuring Employee Photos
    Create Number Range
A number range must be created for SAP Archive Link.
    Transaction code: OANR
For this process, additional authorisation is required for S_NUMBER = 03 ARCHIVELNK.
In u2018Intervalsu2019, create number range 01 from 0000000001 to 9999999999 without the external number flag.
This is likely to already exist.
    Assign Documents Class
Document type HRICOLFOTO must exist with document class JPG.
    Transaction code: OAC2
    Table TOAVE
    Document type settings
Document type HRICOLFOTO must be linked to object type PREL and Infotype 0002.
    Transaction code: SM31
    Table V_T585O (View)
Set all three columns here to minuses and don't put a flag in the check box.
    Content Repository
Create a content repository with storage type FILE archive.
    Transaction code OAC0
IMG: Basis Components --> Basis Services --> SAP Archive Link --> Basic Settings --> Maintain content repositories
Swap from display to amend. Select a current entry and u2018copyu2019 or just hit u2018createu2019. Then select .
Then fill in the details as below:
Choose a two character name u2013 can use Zx (where x is a number) if you wish to use the customer namespace
    Choose the relevant description
Set DocArea to be u2018Archive Linku2019
Storage type u2013 set to R/3 Database
    Protocol u2013 leave blank
Choose Version no. 0046 (or the latest one that is available)
Contents table u2013 set this to SDOKCONT1
Basic Path u2013 c:\ (this should be set to where the photos are all held)
Archive Path u2013 c:\ (this is the area from where the photos are retrieved)
Output Device u2013 can leave blank
Enter the path name where the photos are to be loaded from. Note this is for loading only. When the photos are linked into the sap system (see later), actually, SAP takes a u2018copyu2019 and stores it elsewhere. The path may only need to be entered to u2018Arch.pathu2019, but entering to all three doesnu2019t seem to hurt.
    Maintain the required Basis Service
    Transaction code: SICF
Here you activate the Content Server Interface.
First you need to create a user profile u2013 with sufficient authorisations to carry out the processes which are done by the system in the background. Ideally this should be a background user for a notional/dummy user. You can use your own user ID after which SAP will warn you that this is a dialogue user account. If you do use your own user ID, change it as soon as you have tested the config. Once you have finished the project, the chances are that your user account will be deleted from the system which will subsequently stop this service from working.
Double-click on u201Ccontent serveru201D in the left hand tree structure. You can find it under default_host --> sap --> bc --> content server
Once you have done this click on the refresh icon and make sure that the service is activated. If it is activated, the writing should be in bold (as opposed to greyed out)
Check which content repository (Archive) is linked to document type HRICOLFOTO in object type PREL
    Transaction code: OAC3
    Table TOAOM_C
Set the u2018Content Repositoryu2019 field to the one you set up in the step above.
Note the Ret.per. field is the retention period for the photo in MONTHS. (so the default is 833 years and 3 months!)
    Link photo to personnel number
    Transaction code OAAD
Click on the Create u2013 Store and Assign button. Enter Business Object PREL and Document Type HRICOLFOTO. Click on create(F8).
Enter the Personnel Number of the employee you want to link the photo to.

  • Photo upload issues

Please  assist in any way you are able. I have been attempting to upload photos  from Adobe light room to an FTP server from a workstation attached to a  domain. All network traffic passes through the domain controller running  Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition x64. All uploads are failing  through this software and another program called Order Picture from  Orderpicture.com
I am able to set up a  simple FTP program such as FireFTP from inside FireFox and connect to  the same FTP servers and send or receive data with no trouble through  the same server, this perplexes me. This problem seems to exist with any  workstation on my network regardless of OS. It has been attempted from  Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Windows XP Pro x86 SP3, and even another machine  running Server 2008 Standard Edition x64. The same results are present  from any client. I have attempted bypassing the server with some of the  workstations and the upload works, but then I am unable to access the  data that is stored on my storage servers as the clients are no longer  on the network with them. I have also attempted uploading the data from  the domain controller itself, this also works.
I  believe this proves the problem is a setting on my server. Any help  that could be provided would be greatly appreciated! I have tried  allowing FTP through the server by adding the Service exceptions to the  Advance settings of the shared NIC. I have attempted allowing all the  usual FTP Ports in the firewall for inbound and outbound. I have also  attempted shutting down every firewall on the clients and the server;  still with no success.
    Please help!

If sftp is an option, use it. FTP needs a stake to be put through its heart.
Otherwise, try PASV connections, which some clients do automatically.  Remember that ftp is a pre-firewall protocol, so its default behaviour is to use a data and control port, and the control port is usually out of your control.

  • I just loaded some July pictures into my PC iCloud photos upload folder, but I do not see them with my iPad. Are they not shared because they are past the 30 day window, or is there a different issue?

I just loaded some July pictures into my PC iCloud photos upload folder, but I do not see them with my iPad. Are they not shared because they are past the 30 day window, or is there a different issue?

Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
    1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
    2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
    1. Right click images you want to share.
    2. Select Export version.
    3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
    4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.
    See how you go.

  • Photo upload pop up window

When I try to upload a new album to Facebook or pictures to printerpix the photo upload window where I choose which photos to add does not come up, until I click on another screen. But then when it does come up everything is frozen and I have to force quit safari. Pop-ups are not blocked on my computer and all soft wear updates are complete, any other ideas? Thank you!

  • Not all of my photos upload to my website when I publish it. when my site finishes publising I get an error that says, "There was an error communicating with the FTP server. Try again later, or check with your service provider."

Not all of my photos upload to my website when I publish it. when my site finishes publising I get an error that says, "There was an error communicating with the FTP server. Try again later, or check with your service provider."

I am publishing directly to an FTP server (option 1).  Is this the optimal method or should I be publishing to a folder and then (how do/would I?) publish to my hosting domain?
I'm wondering if this has really anything to do with the publishing process, or whether it just has to do with the photos and/or the photo albums.  I've deleted the photo albums with the missing pictures from my site on iweb thinking a file might be corrupt. (I'm getting the albums from iphoto -- drag/drop method into iweb) I then replaced these albums with the same albums as the previous ones from iphoto and then published my site again -- and the EXACT same photos were once again missing in the NEW albums as were missing in the old albums...
Maybe it is a publishing issue, or it could be a photo/file issue.  However, these albums aren't very large -- the largest containing 135 photos --
Please! if you have any suggestions or ideas as to what is happening I would be greatly appreciative!
I'm pulling my hair out here trying to diagnose the problem...

  • Report on employee photo upload [HRICOLFOTO]

    Hi Experts,
Have gone thru many posts regarding photo upload, but is there any report or table which gives PERNR wise details for all the uploaded photos?
Basically I want to know for how many employees photos have not been uploaded or the other way will also do.
Have checked content repository table SDOKCONT1 but not of much help.
    Please help on the issue.

    Hi,
Run report OAADMILI via SE38 for the relevant content repository.
There restrict the output to PREL object.
There you'll see all the personnel numbers who have a photo in the SAP Object ID column (along with the infotype number e.g. XXXXXXXXYYYY where XXXXXXXX is the personnel number and YYYY is the infotype)

  • MMS & photo upload

I've been noticing in the last few days that photos I take and subsequently try to send in a text message, are not sending. I get the red "!" every time I try.. sometimes it takes 6 or 7 tries. I just started having this problem in the last few days and am wondering if it is part of the the data upload issue that AT&T has just admitted to.
Coincidently, I just installed a Micro-Cell this morning which is up and running, but I don't think this has anything to do with it.. Am I wrong? Anyone else experiencing this?

SMS/MMS are exchanged over the same network as calls. "Dumb" phones or phones not in the smart phone category that don't have internet access via the carrier's cellular data or internet network can exchange SMS/MMS. SMS/MMS is technically data, but it is not exchanged over a carrier's internet network.
Not sure where the problem lies in this regard.

  • Photo upload to iCloud fails with the error message 'Upload failed due to network error'. Ideas?

I am trying to get my photos on my Mac Mini onto my iPad 2 via iCloud. I have tracked the problem down to upload failure from Mini to iCloud. 1St (&every) photo upload fails with the message 'Upload failed due to network error'. Any ideas?

I doubt this issue is related to the Mac Mini specifically.
I have 44 photos shot with an iPhone 3G that will not upload to iCloud Photo Library. I try and drag-and-drop them onto the web interface and I get the same error message you did:
    Upload Failed
44 items were not uploaded due to a network error.
However, I have another 62 photos shot with the same iPhone 3G that upload without issue. And I just uploaded 440 photos from an iPhone 4 without issue.
I thought it may have something to do with certain EXIF tags missing on the photos that would not upload but I have not been able to figure out a pattern when comparing photos that work and photos that don't work.
The photos that won't upload open fine in QuickLook, Preview, and Pixelmator so I doubt the image is corrupted in some way.
I can AirDrop the photo to my iOS device and it will upload to iCloud Photo Library, the photo/video count will be incremented on the iOS device and iCloud Photo Library but the photo will never be displayed in iCloud Photo Library. When I delete the photo on the iOS device the photo/video count will decrement on the iOS device but will remain the same in iCloud Photo Library. When this occurred the following error was thrown in the iCloud Photo Library web interface:

  • Photos uploaded from iPhoto '11 to facebook keep removing themselves at random.

    Hi Guys and Girls,
My Photos uploaded from iPhoto '11 to facebook keep removing themselves at random. Who else is having this annoying issue?
    Cheers,
    Keegan

Do not use the iPhoto - Facebook link - as advertised changes on either side are automatically synced to the other - that is the way it works
If you do not want the features that iPhoto offers then upload directly form a web browser or other method
