Photos on iPad mini Retina using iOS 8.2

Using iPad mini retina display, I am unable to share photos via email when using photos on iPad. When I touch the share button (square with arrow pointing up), all the share options are listed but the option for email. I wish apple will create an option for people to roll back their devices to iOS 7 just for the sake of productivity.

If you are having an issue with your iPad randomly restarting, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
iOS: Device unexpectedly restarts, displays Apple logo, or powers off
In particular, since your iPad is up to date with iOS 8.0.2 -
If you still see this issue after updating, contact Apple Support.

You want to just use Dropbox until the dust settles. To use it from iWork for iOS (assuming you have the Dropbox app installed on your device), open the document in Keynote (for example), tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), choose Open in Another App, choose Keynote as your format, then choose Open in Dropbox and you will get an option to save it to your Dropbox account. To open it from Dropbox in iWork for iOS, open the document in the Dropbox app, tap the share icon, tap Open in Keynote (for example). It's a bit clunky, but works.

I hate to, but I feel I am a guinea pig at 700.00 a crack 128gb mini.
I have 4 of them and THEY ALL DO IT. I have restored, setup as new ipad but nothing works.
also, the colors on the new ipad mini seem dull and off. I have a plum colored car and it looks brown on the mini.

i bought an iPad Mini Retina earlier this week
came back home, updated to iOS 7.0.4 and it crashed many times, while browsing settings but also some apps
i had it exchanged because of a yellow tint on the screen
got a new one, under 7.0.3, also crashed several times, updated to 7.0.4, still crashing
wondering if the new 64-bit processor has something to do with the code used for iOS

The syncing works between my iMac and iPhone on one hand and between iMac and iPad on the other. I'm using IOS 7.1.2. I made sure iCloud is on on IOS devices, same iCloud account, made sure there is no problem with the WiFi...I appreciate any help I can get. thanx

Finally I got a solution from an Apple guy today. First we did the following steps on an iPad and then on iPhone.
Basically, it comes down to this:
general/restore/ erase all content and settings
set up the iPhone/iPad as a new device
type your iCloud account info
once everything is up and running, wait for a while and first check on contacts, calendars, notes if it's syncing with the iCloud, then open safari and look for the other device. In my case it worked and iPad finally detected iPhone and I could see the safari tabs from the iPhone on the iPad.
But then, Iphone still couldn't detect the iPad, so the guy said the original problem was probably in iPhone. And so we did the whole thing again on iPhone and then I finally had my tabs from all devices visible on every device.

I don't believe that you can decrease the font size for PDFs in iBooks.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Ipad mini retina IOS 8.01 problem

I had updated my Ipad mini retina to IOS 8.0.1 however after reboot the ipad can not be turn on, means a white screen with apple logo is appearing and you can not do anything else, even by trying the home or turn off button.
I tried to revert to IOS 8 by connecting my ipad to itunes in my computer but itunes can not recognize my Ipad, so do you have any suggestion?

ITunes 11.2.1 doesn't let me sync new songs purchased on iTunes to my iPhone 5S and iPad mini Retina

I hope someone can help me. I've purchased 5 new albums on iTunes 11.2.1. I've created playlists and cannot sync them with my iPhoen 5S and iPad mini Retina under iOS 7 (latest version). I check the playlist and sync, but on the iPhone or iPad, the playlist shows the songs being on the cloud. I try to download them and it won't let me me. I have deactivated iTunes Match on my MBP..... I've spent money on new albums that I can't listed to on mu iPhone or iPad. How frustrating!!!

The same thing is happening to me now and it's just been since the update before last, it seems. And the strange thing is that it's only doing it to songs that are demo-versions (I'm a musician) that have no metadata or ISRC codes or anything. Songs in this format have been transferred in the past without any problems, but that's changed; they show up as ghost songs on my iPad mini (which is fully updated) and any playlist that has one of those ghost songs in it will not play, even if the rest of the songs are fine.
I think Apple needs to address this fast because I'm sure I'm not the only one receiving non-commercial Mp3s or .wav files and needs to use them in various forms on our devices!

Ipad mini Retina (iOS 7.1.1) front camera not working

I had just noticed that my front facing camera doesn't work on my iPad mini retina. Both it and my iPhone 5S are running the latest of iOS. My iPhone works but not my ipad. Anybody run into the same issue. About to go down to the apple store and get it figured out. Already did a refresh on the ipad, refresh from backup. Help?

If the camera on your iPad is not functioning correctly I would suggest following the steps in this article relating to the camera. Note that the article is primarily about iPhones but the camera troubleshooting steps are the same for the iPad -

Specifically -
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

I am a complete novice and just bought my first Apple product a Ipad Mini Retina 16gb . On reflection if I had been wiser ( and/or richer!) I would have bought the 32gb versi instead for recording audio , storing photo's and documents .
But I have ton make do with what I have got so Is there a way ( a work a round) of saving these files instead where capacity is a problem on a SD card or external hard drive using the lighting connector ?

My iPad Mini Retina LTE got No Service after upgrade to IOS 8.1

After upgrading to IOS 8.1 my iPad Mini Retina lost GSM signal and No Service indication appears in top left screen.
Tried to reset, switch off without positive results.
With manual carrier search, my carrier is still in the options but no results.

I upgraded ipad mini 2 with LTE from 7.1.2 straight to 8.1.2 hoping all the bugs are ironed out by now.... nope!
Got the free 200MB/mo Tmobile sim and 4G works. LTE network connection seems fine. I get an LTE next to Tmobile on the status bar. But I get a message saying "Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service." as soon as I try to use a browser.
With AT&T sim, 4G works just like Tmobile, but as soon as I switch on LTE, there is no network connection at all with "No Service" on the status bar and falls back to 4G after a while. So seems like something broke LTE even on 8.1.2.

IPad mini Retina Display wont´t turn on after updating to iOS 7

Hi,
I just update my iPad mini Retina Display to iOS 7. Then, when I try to turn it on, it restart showing a blue screen. I try to reset the iPad holding and presing the Home Screen and the Wake/Sleep botton. It doesn´t matter, it still restarting showing the blue screen. Everytime I connect the iPad to the charger or the PC, it will restart.
Any help would be appreciated.

IPad mini retina, iOS 7 unable to join Personal Hotspot

I have iPhone 5, iPad mini retina running on iOS 7.1.2, Laptop Windows. When I turn on Personal Hotspot (PH), other PC, Tablet,.. suppose to join the PH normally via Wifi, Bluetooth, Cable. But I found that after my iPhone join a 5GHz band wifi, and then I turn on HP, other PC can't connect via Wifi, only can connect via Bluetooth or Cable.
I use a Linksys EA3500 dual band wifi router. It works perfectly for my need
So say in step that won't work:
1. Connect iPhone to a 5GHz band wifi at home
2. Later I hang out and need to share my 3G with my ipad mini wifi, so I turn on PH
3. All devices failed to connect to PH via Wifi, but bluetooth or cable can connect successful
Step that works:
1. iPhone already connect to 5GHz band at home, before I leaving home, I connect it again to a 2.4GHz band
2. Turn on PH where don't have wifi
3. Other device successful connect to PH.
So the problems here is the 5 GHz band problem with iPhone. After connect to 5GHz band, other devices can't connect to iPhone, like it refused other devices to connect to, or something like problem with iOS 7.
p/s: I have already doing the "clean" state of iOS 7 to test on both iPhone and iPad. Do a restore on both device, test its and same problem.

You should check with the apple site before saying this, from iPhone 5 and above, it has already support for 5GHz bands. If my iPhone does not compatible with 5GHz bands how come it connect to 5GHz band back home
