[Photoshop CC 2014] Click&hold-move-release doesn't work when adding adjustment layer from the layer panel

When selecting a menu item I used to click the left mouse button and hold it down, move the pointer to the desired menu item and release the mouse button. Everything works fine in the mine menu, but there's a problem when adding new adjustment layer from the layer panel: when I release the button nothing happens, I have to press the button again. In previous PS version it worked fine. How can I fix this?

I don't think that is user fixable, meaning you'll have to wait till adobe fixes it with an update.

There are several ways
     - Selecting the event and hitting the "delete" key on your keyboard (as Wayne Contello said)
     - Selecting the event and opening the "edit" dropdown menubar item, and then selecting "delete"
     - Selecting the event and right clicking, then selecting "cut" (this option puts the event on your clipboard)

In photoshop CS5, Brush tool doesn't work on an adjustment layer

I Created an adjustment (Curves) layer and did the curves adjustment. Then I did an Edit Fill (Normal Mode, 100% Opacity and Use: Black).
I then try to use the brush tool, but it doesn't work. I've done this hundreds of times before and suddenly it's not working. Rebooted the system, but that didn't help.
I know how to do a screen shot, but it doesn't paste onto this screen. How do I get that to you?

If the email address you want to use is being used as the primary email address on a different ID you have to manage that ID and change it to a different primary email address. This explains how: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support.

Why doesn't my card reader work when I take it from the camera and put it in the reader? Nothing happens and it doesn't show up in finder.

When I put my card into the reader, nothing happens. It doesn't show up in finder so I can't dismount it. The pictures on it aren't readeable all of a sudden, except for two of them, and that's all that would download to iphoto, but I had to connect the camera since the card reader doesn't resond.

Welcome to the Support Communities! Are you asking about the SD slot on your Mac, or is this an external card reader plugged into a USB port? If it is the one on your Mac, the article below may be helpful. Did you try more than one SD card? You can use Disc Utility to erase and reformat the card if needed.

Remove the card and insert it again. Sometimes, if you put the SD card into the slot too slowly, it may not mount properly.

Cards formatted to Mac OS Extended will not be recognized by non-Apple systems. Formatting cards larger than 32GB for use with digital cameras, GPS, and other devices may require formatting them with the exFAT file system. When in doubt, format the cards in the device you intend to use with the card.

Try resetting yur iPod:

However, for many webpages when you want to scroll in a window you need to use two fingers, not one finger. Also, it appears that you are using webmail, sometimes because of the way the website was designed, it is not fully compatible with iDevices. Sometimes using a different browser (not Safari) helps but sometimes you just can't fully use webmail. Wht provider are you using?

Filter Doesn't Work When Value is Cleared From Prompt

I'm trying to set up a very simple report that shows at most 1 record. As a proof of concept, I have a report with one column, "Company Name" and I have this report on a Dashboard with a prompt.
In the report, I have a filter critera that's set to "Company Name = 'Unspecified'". When I open the dashboard, it displays only the record where the name is Unspecified like I expect. When I filter on another company name in the prompt and hit "GO", it displays the apporpriate company. The issue happens when I now clear the filter and hit "GO" again. In this instance, it displays every company.
I've also tried the following:
Company Name is Unspecified (Protect Filter is slected)
OR Company Name is Prompted
AND RCOUNT(Company Name) = 1
I have the same issue.
Any ideas?

- TimOBIEE is acting as expected. When the prompt is "blank," that is the equivalent of having no filter; hence all records are displayed. Having an "Is Prompted" filter doesn't help. When there are no values selectd, the "Is Prompted" filter in effect disappears, again leaving all records.
Try using a presentation variable with a default value (like "Unspecified" if you have an actual entry with that name).

Default Gateway doesn't work when entered in address bar

I'm trying to get to my router's settings. The default IP address of my router (192.168.1.1) doesn't work when I enter it in the address bar. Neither does the Default Gateway that I got from clicking on start, run, typing cmd and then ipconfig/all. Does anybody know how I can access my router settings without resetting it?

That seems to be the modem default gateway... is your PC connected to the modem via a USB cable? (sometimes that might be the case)... or what port of the router is your modem connected to?

Why does File send link not work? Even right clicking on my mouse doesn't work. Is there a fix for this?

Why can I no longer send links to websites? Clicking File>Send Link doesn't work nor does right clicking on the mouse. Both worked prior to Firefox 6. I also can't send emails to websites that don't spell out their address but instead say "to send an email click here". Everything works fine in Chrome and Safari but not in Firefox.

OK well after first reverting to an older version of firefox to get my right click menu options back I have since discovered one way that works but at a cost.
By using the addon menu-editor it is possible to move the EMAIL LINK button from the file menu to the (Main Context Menu) ie the "right click menu" BUT you will loose the file menu button as there is no way to clone the button and only move a copy. Bunch of clowns that decided to do this I really don't know what they were thinking. Very VERY stupid move.

My apologies. Your post jogged my little grey cells to the point that I did a few experiments. In essence, you are right. My plug-ins do not work with 8-bit greyscale images. I like to deliberately shoot B&W and have a Wratten #12 minus-blue filter on the lens--as I used to do with film cameras.
The raw files ( Fujifilm's .RAF) were converted in Adobe CR by checking off "Convert to Grayscale" under the fourth tab. In the future, I will do the B&W conversion in Photoshop with either Nik or Topaz plug-ins.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

A Reset (in link from previous post) is not a Restore. It does not erase the iPod. A Reset is THE method to "re-boot the whole system."
The reason for the Hold switch has nothing to do with turning an iPod ON or OFF. It exists because most iPods have touch-based controls. The Hold switch is there to lock the controls, in situations when the iPod is playing music and you don't want to inadvertently touch the controls while handling the iPod.
Pressing and holding the Play/Pause button turns an iPod OFF. But I hardly ever manually turn OFF my iPod (except for my iPod shuffle). I just stop playing music and leave it alone. The display backlight goes off by itself within a few seconds, and if the controls are not touched, the iPod soon goes into the same power saving mode as turning it OFF manually.

Before you try to configure the settings on your Router, first thing which you need to do is, Press and hold the reset button for 60 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 60 seconds and re-connect the power cable...
