Photoshop CC activation issue: keeps asking for a serial number

I had the trial version down loaded and tested. I decided to by a license in CC, so I uninstallded the test version and downloaded the real version from Creative Cloud.
This real versions asks me i I want to buy the real version or to license the produkt! I choose to licence the produkt then I was asked for the serial number!
I do not have one, where do I find that serial number?

Keep asking for my serial number again and again

Have just installed CS5 , all paid up, all signed up, all numbers given and verified, but.....nothing CS5 works, all keep asking for my serial number again and again, accept and verify number is correct, adobe tells me I'm all up and good and running, then screen tells me I'm not licensed so it closes down. same in InDesign, and Photoshop. What the hell is going on Adobe??????

Could be a permissions problem, so the licensing never can persistently verify the serial and create the necessary key files. Try creating another user account with admin privileges and run it from there, then check the settings on your existing account and the pertinent user data folders.

After some serious hunting I finally found a link for live chat (that hunting also included switching to Internet Explorer where I had been using Chrome; I don't know if that's what made the difference). I gave the person at chat my redemption code; soon they came back and told me they had validated the code.
I went to the code redemption page and put in the code, and AGAIN it came back invalid! A second visit to chat yielded a similar promise, but with instructions to go to my Adobe ID page and check for the serial number there, under Products and Plans. I went there, checked Products and Plans, and found no serial number.
I was borderline homicidal at this point.
Still on the ID page, out of desperation I clicked on the Other Products link, and there, FINALLY, I found the serial number. It worked when I ran the install program, and now PS 11 Elements is up and running on my computer.
I would compare getting a serial number to PS 11 Elements to trying to find the Ark of the Covenant, except that finding the Ark is a cinch by comparison. I'm sure the difficulties I encountered were not of your making, but were the result of some horrible brain farts of those above you. Thanks for your help.

If you still have the receipt or other proof of purchase, you can ask Apple to send you the serial. Otherwise, bad luck mate.. Good news is, you can now buy Logic Pro 9 from App Store for just 199 USD

Creative Suite 6 Design Standard (for Mac) keeps asking for the Serial Number ... over and over!

My iMac has a well-installed Creative Suite 6 Design Standard. I have a valid serial (purchased it) and it works fine. Every couple of months though the Adobe Application Manager pops up and asks me wether I want to continue the test-period or if I am willing to enter the serial number. So I dig into my papers and get the serial number out ... it is accepted every time and works fine then. But after some time - there we go again: I have to enter the number.
I faced this issue a while ago and read that it was recommended to update the Application Manger - which I did. But ... still being bothered by these kinds of questions from time to time.
What can I do?

I have installed one copy of my PS CC at home in my windows machine which is working fine.
But I have my second copy installed in my office mac whcih keeps asking me to register and the countdown has begun. What should I do.
I tried the helper link http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/ccm-prompt-serial-number.html but I am sure things are fine on the data I have provided. Because if data was the issue my windows copy too would have asked for credentails. Please help.

Lightroom 5 keeps asking for my serial number. Help me stop this madness!

I have the latest version of lightroom 5. My copy is constantly asking me to enter my serial number. It does not ask me everytime I launch LR, but maybe every 5 to 8 times I open LR.
I am on a windows 7 laptop.
Can someone please help me?

I had a problem with that post. While it is pretty exhaustive, at first there was a major problem that baffled me. So if anyone is having trouble with the instructions here http://forums.adobe.com/thread/800907?tstart=0 , here is what happened to me and how I got past it.
My problem was that I had been told by Lightroom about 10 times to enter my serial number. I was so fed up on the tenth time, I immediately quit Lightroom and tried to search the internet for answers. I came across the post above but could not get it to work. Why? because the post/link above asks one to search, in a couple of different folders, for a file called "Lightroom 5.0 Registration.lrreg" (because I have version 5 of the software, your number may be different).
Well I searched and searched both of the locations it told me to look in and I could not find that file. There were no other instructions about what to do if the file did not exist.
It took me about a day to realize that the reason I could not find the file was because on the tenth time Lightroom asked me to enter my serial number, I instead closed the program out of frustration. What I needed to do was reenter my serial number AGAIN, then the file would show up.
When I realized that, I easily found the registration file which allowed me to follow the directions in the post/link above.
So the moral of the story is to re-enter your serial number before searching for the file.
I should have realized this earlier, but I was just so frustrated with re-entering my serial number, I decided I was going to solve the problem first before entering that dam long number AGAIN.

2.1 keeps asking for Product Serial Number

Every time I start up my Aperture now, I get a screen asking for my name, organization and the serial number from the install disk. This is not the more complex "registration" screen - I have ben there and submitted that. This is just every time I start it asks for this. While it still operates normally once I have started, it is a pain. The machine (MacPro) has just had a new logic board after a failure, and that is the only change. Any suggestions how to get rid of this step?

Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool.
