PhotoShop CC plugins not available

I own Design and web Premium CS6 and Lightroom 5.2 running with NIK and Canon Printer iPF9100 plugins running just fine
on a Win7 machine.
I purchased and installed PhotoShop CC about a month ago/ When I start PhotoShop CC from the exec file the
NIK and Canon plugins do not show up. If I am in Lightroom and ask to edit in PhotoShop CC the file opens
in PhotoShop CC and I can access both plugins. If I am in Lightroom the NIK plugin is available and works just fine.
I have tried putting the plugins in:
NIK:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\Plug-ins
Canon:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\iPF9100 Print Plug-In for Photoshop x64\Print Plugin for iPF9100
C:\Program Files\Canon\iPF9100 Print Plug-In for Photoshop x64\Print Plugin for iPF9100
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\Print Plugin for iPF9100
My Canon dealer says the driver and plugin for my printer work just fine on other customers machines.
Any thoughts?

Common file plugin removed. You are right - When I first installed PShop CC I was launching the 64 bit version from the start menu but when I pinned the icon to the task bar I inadvertantly chose the 32 bit version. When I activated from Lightroom the 64 bit version of PhotoShop launched. I thought I had checked that possibility but apparently not.
Operator error!
Thanks a bunch!

  • Surcode Plugin not available anymore

After installing a fresh Windows 8.1/64 with my CS6 Production Premium, within Media Encoder, the surcode plugin is not available anymore as before.  I can only chose Dolby 2.0 but not the surcode 5.1 plugin.
    How can this be fixed?

Did you purchase the plugin? The Surcode that was included with Encore was a TRIAL ONLY, would give 3 uses, then you had to buy it for like $300. So if you bought it, contact the vendor (Minnetonka Audio) to retrieve your serial/re-download or whatever needs to be done.

  • Edit in photoshop CC 2014 not available in Lightroom 5.7.1

I have both programs installed (Lightroom 5.7.1 and Photoshop CC 2014) but the option to edit in photoshop CC 2014 is grayed out when in Lightroom. Any help is greatly wanted.

Lightroom might not know where the original image is located on your system. In that case the Photo > Edit In > Edit in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 menu will be greyed out.
You can check this by looking at the image icons and folder icons in Library view.
When you look at the image in the Library, does it contain a small warning sign?
If yes, then click on this sign and locate the file on your system or network.
Something else to check is the folders that the images are in. If all the folders contain a small question mark on them, then Right-click the folder and choose Find Missing Folder.
    Hope this helps,

  • Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available

I keep getting this error messge every time I try to log in. Help?

I take it you are using PSE 10 or earlier. Photoshop.com is dead and gone. You should have received a number of emails about your photos getting moved to adobe revel, but revel is not a direct replacement for photoshop.com. You can't use it from within PSE. You need to stop using the welcome screen, since that will always try to connect to the non-existent server:

  • Photoshop CS6 Extended not available in Creative Cloud single app membership?

I have read everywhere that Creative Cloud includes Photoshop CS6 Extended. So I went to buy a membership and figured I only need access to that one single app, and paid the US$19.99 for access to a single app license. But whenever I try to activate Photoshop now, I get regular CS6, not Extended. If I go into http://creative.adobe.com and look at my Apps it says just "Photoshop CS6" but when I click Learn More it brings me to the CS6 Extended product page. My question is whether I actually am entitled to CS6 Extended, or if I have to buy the more expensive $49.99 membership for access to all apps in order to get that? The marketing should be more clear if that's the case. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi PJ,
You're correct, when you get a membership to Photoshop CS6 by itself it is the standard version, versus with Creative Cloud membership it is the Extended version. I didn't find this written out anywhere. I did notice when I clicked the Photoshop picture from here http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/cssubscription.html it took me to the Photoshop standard product page versus here it does say Extended http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tools.html and links to the Extended product page.
Where are you seeing this "Learn More" link that takes you to the wrong place (Extended page)? Can you post a screen shot?
This seems like something that should be called out on the first subscription page and here http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/faq.html#subscriptions
I'll see if its possible to get something added and possibly change this Learn More link once I get more info.

  • Option to Upgrade Photoshop Elements Catalog not available (LR5, PSE 12, Win 8)

Hi there. I have trial versions of both Photoshop Elements 12 and Lightroom 5.2 (trial licenses are both still active (i.e. not expired)). I'm looking to import my PSE12 catalog into Lightroom before I plunk down the money to buy it.
I cannot, however, locate the "File->Upgrade Photoshop Elements Catalog" option in LR5.
I may have originally installed LR 5 before installing PSE 12. So I uninstalled LR5 and reinstalled it. Still no luck - the option isn't there.
Any other ways to force LR5 to look for the PSE 12 catalog? Will LR5 even recognize a PSE12 catalog?
Your help is greatly appreciated - thanks!
    Note: Using Win 8.1

...But we can also wait and see report from other users.
Unfortunately, there is no doubt that the conversion of PSE12 catalogs has been omitted. It's not the first time : I also had to wait for LR4 to be able to convert PSE11 files. We may hope that Adobe will acknowledge the fact, and possibly solve the problem for future versions of PSE.
Of course, it's not a priority for Adobe: the ability to convert PSE catalogs is mainly a sales argument to make the jump from the PSE Organizer to LR easier. Not so many cases, and anyway you can always write metadata to files in PSE and import later in LR. After the jump to LR, you rarely have more PSE catalogs to convert.
However, maintaining misleading update notes by Adobe is not a good point in favour of LR. I do consider that the ability for LR to convert PSE catalog was and still is a very smart demonstration of the ability to deal with database organizational systems. I also consider that once that conversion process is mastered, the update process for each new Elements version is not such a big deal.

  • Adobe Revel plugin not available from lightroom 5

I am unable to publish to Adobe Revel anymore. The plugin disappeared on the adobe revel website and the functionality ceased in Lightroom 5+. This happened without warning.  This is very annoying to say the least. I just recently bought the full service of Adobe Revel but really have no use for it if the integration between lightroom and revel is gone. Please let me know if there is any intention to provide a new plugin. If not, I see no purpose to keep my revel subscription and would like a refund.
Having read some other threads from frustrated users, maybe I say that this has been extremely poorly handled by Adobe. Very disappointed.

    Installed with 'Overlord' .iso
    -hem- several dry runs
Now have functional desktop xfce4: root and user set up, screen res good, mouse OK, connected: FF installed and good to go:
Installed mplayer, mp-plugins, flash, codecs: looked to go through OK, booted into desktop with user: No Plugins in FF, reinstalled: nil.
Installed: extensions: AdBlock, NoScript, TMP: all good

  • Picasa Plugin Not Available

    Hi,
after updating to iLife 08 I installed the iPhoto-Plugin für Picasa again.
So I want to export a collection to Picasa with Export, but the tab "Picasa Web-Album" is missing.
I checked the plugin-folder, but the plugin was installed.
    What happens?
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Christian
With respect, that pages makes no mention of iPhoto v7 or iLife 08. I have not yet seen mention anywhere of an updated plug-in for Picasa. But, of course, as your problem is with the Plug in, perhaps you should ask the makes for help.

  • Edit in Photoshop greyed out, not available in LR 4.2

When I right click a photo in LR 4.2, I cannot get the option to edit in Photoshop Elements 11. The option to open in Photoshop is greyed out. What do I need to do to fix this? I have the Preferences in the Eternal Editing tab set to edit as a PSD, sRGB, 8 bit.

Installed Arch today, coming from Debian. I use gedit for creating/editing bash, html, css, php and python together with gedit-plugins. Before I installed Arch I made sure Arch had also this package gedit-plugins.

I checked if the plugins were installed in /usr/lib/gedit/plugins and they are all there.
What am I missing here? Normally the preferences option would be under the menu Edit or File, but it's no where... Am I blind or....

Ok, try my suggestion: click on the Gedit icon in the top bar. It  might be in there. That's where GNOME is starting to put all of the application-wide (as opposed to instance-specific) menu entries.

A supervisor isn't assumed to be the resource who would be deploying the MSIs to others. The only MSI exposed is the one directly relevent to themselves. Personally, I wish this wasn't exposed at all since most customers either want to push the client out through an IT-managed tool or have an IT person doing software install.
