and i want to upgrade it to extended mode bcz i want to use 3d option
Is there any options to uodate it ?

Can someonee please assist me in my Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. I keep getting a 'Couldn't Complete Your Request because Dynamic Link is not Available?" Is there a way of getting a software patch for this problem? I thought you didn't need extra software. My software other than that problem works fine.

I have Photoshop CS6 Extended Students and Teachers Edition. when I go into the Filter/Oil paint and try to use Oil Paint a notice comes up "This feature requires graphics processor acceleration. Please Check Performance Preferences and verify that "Use Graphics Processor" is enabled. When I go into Performance Preferences I get a notice "No GPU available with Photoshop Standard. Is there any way I can add this feature to my Photoshop either by purchasing an addition or downloading something?
Does you display adapter have a supported GPU with at least 512MB of Vram? And do you have the latest device drivers install with Open GL support. Use CS6 menu Help>System Info... use its copy button and paste the information in here.

Photoshop CS6 extended won't import videos, help please?
Before I get to the meat and potatoes (details), I'd like to ask that you don't be an @$$ with your answers, please, if my friend is doing something wrong, don't just say "well, derp, you're doing something wrong", actually tell me what he's doing wrong so I can tell him and he can fix the issue. He'd post but he's having internet issues as of 10 minutes ago.
My friend got Photoshop CS6 extended so he could do a few things with his photos, he also wanted to try out some of the stuff with the video editing, and since it's the extended version, it should (at least in theory) import video, right? Wrong, no matter what format he converts to he gets an error telling him he's using the right kind of document. I have seen the photoshop video editor, my friend has seen the video editor, but we can't get it on his copy of photoshop because he can't get a video to import no matter what format he converts to. Is there a way to fix this or has the promise of video editing in the extended version of photoshop just been a lie? I'm confused, please help.

NONE OF THESE FORMATS WORK FOR VIDEO EDITING IN PHOTOSHOP CS6 EXTENDED. He can use it for photo but he really wants to try the video editor since he doesn't like movie maker and he can't afford any other video editing software right now.To see if there is something deeper see if the video plays in Bridge.

I can no longer use 3D commands in Photoshop CS6 Extended
I have Photoshop CS6 Extended (Ver 13.0.1x64). My desktop is Windows 7 64 Home premium; and Video card is: AMD Radeon HD 5570. The drivers and operating system is updated.
I have been using simple 3D functions like "New 3D extrusion from..." from time to time without any problems until recently. For unknown reasons now when I try to invoke any 3D command, I get the following message: " Could not complete the "New 3D extrusion from selected layer command because of a program error." This ,message gets repeated for any 3D command.
I checked out 3D functionality in Photoshop CS6 32 bit; and Photoshop CS5.5 Extended. Same problem. However, I can access and use all 3D functions in Illustrator CS6. Clearly, therefore, the video card is not the problem. It looks like one of the recent software updates from Adobe must have caused this problem.

Hello folks how do you do? Well, I'm experiencing a problem using the 'Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended'. In general the 3D feature doesn't really show up in my screen. What can I do? Please some one?

How to Force Enable 3D Menu Contents in PhotoShop CS6 Extended
Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

Photoshop CS6 Extended (via creative cloud) Flashes when clicking on canvas and ..
photoshop cs6 extended (64bit) flashes black when clicking on canvas or on a layer. I can't get anything done, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled... all other Creative Cloud apps work fine.
I';m using windows 8.
If anyone has any idea of what is going on or can help in any way, please let me know.

KellyThat is a known bug in Windows 8. We're working with the GPU vendors and Microsoft to get it fixed.
In the meantime you can set the Photoshop GPU mode to "Basic".
If you have an AMD GPU, you probably want their 13.2 beta drivers. -
Photoshop CS6 has changed to Photoshop CS6 Extended. Why?
I have had to reload my original software, a registered upgrade of Photoshop CS5 to Photoshop CS6 and then using software update and updating what was downloaded. When I did this all was well for a little while, a few days, then I got a message that I needed to sign in and I did this wondering why I had to do it, and suddenly I realised my Potoshop CS6 is now Photoshop CS6 Extended. What's happened? I was also informed that I was using a trial version of this and now I cannot get rid of it. Do you need Serial No.? Please advise.

The trial is Extended, so you seem to be working in trial mode.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error.
When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

J. J. PattersonDid you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

i am using windows 7 on an HP Pavilion dv6-6108. I purchased Photoshop CS6 extended. The guy said it is a full Retail version and "self installs" the serial number and activates. It doesn't fully install into my control panel programs, instead it puts 2 icons on the desk top for Photoshop, but they have a "install shield" on them. I can't update (the update and register features are grayed out.under the help menu. The program opens, but everytime it does, it brings up the window asking if you want to let this program make changes on the computer. Supposedly the serial number that auto-loads is inscribed on the inner ring of the disk, but you can't really tell what they are. So I have no way to know what it is. Lots of other odd ball stuff that makes me doubt the genuineness of the product. What can I do to establish real or fake? And to get it registered like my other Adobe products.

Soda can design in Photoshop CS6 Extended problem
Hello,
I just did my design for a fake soda can in Photoshop CS6 Extended, which I was hoping to use as a 3D image later in my artwork. I measured a real soda can carefully, so I'm sure the size and the orientation of the image is right. But when I try to go to 3D panel/Meshes/Soda to transfer my design to the soda can preset, it comes out less than half the size & oriented 90 degrees off. I tried to find ways to adjust it but it did not work at all. When I tried to apply the same design to a plain cylinder it came out OK. I tried to look online for the info how I could adjust the size and proportion of the image I would like to use in my 3D projects- but there no good information available.
So- how can I accurately adjust the size and the direction of the image/layer taken from a 2D Photoshop layer to 3D in PsCS6 Extended? Please help!

MayaSeems to me, if you follow what Steve said in that other thread, you're expected to rotate your design canvas 90 degrees CW before creating the mesh from the soda can preset.
