Photoshop CS6 Extended Update Questions
I have Photoshop CS6 Extended as part of the Master Suite (stand alone) on a 64bit Windows PC. it is currently running PS version 13.0
I can't connect the PC to the internet at this time but would like to download the update(s) on my laptop and then install in the PC.
My Questions are:
1) are there any known problems with offline upgrades to Photoshop doing it this way? Any precautions I should take?
2) what version CS6 Extended should I be Updating to (as I'm on a stand alone version and not Creative Cloud)?

Windows CS6 perpetual should be at version 13.0.1.3 to be fully up to date. Where subscription CS6 is version 13.1.2
Adobe Windows Photoshop Update downloads are downloaded from Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows
However that does not show ACR 8.7.1 You get that here Camera Raw 8.7.1 is now available

I used Photoshop CS6 Extend for a while. I did update mamy times and it always shown
Extension Manager 6.0.5 Update
Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7
I need help and don't know what did I done wrong.

You have done nothing wrong, the update process is simply pretty unreliable. You should run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and try again. Also try to download the update manually from the Download section here on the site.

I purchased my photoshop cs6 extended about 2 years ago when I was enrolled in college. I graduated and I'm about to enroll to get my BA. My question is, if I want to change the computer where my photoshop is located or if I want to use it on my laptop and my desktop, do i have to wait until I enroll again or do I have to purchase the product again in order to put it on another computer?
Well that does change the story. If you purchased a PC version of CS6, the license is PC only. It can only be installed on a second PC for your own use.
If you buy a Mac, you would either buy another $350 copy of Photoshop Mac, or agree to a swap, that is exchange the PC license for a Mac license, giving up all rights to the PC license.
If you have the disposable income for it, get a $350 Photoshop Extended Mac license as well.

I am unable to update to the lates version of Photoshop CS6 Extended
I have photoshop CS6 Extended. Version 13.0 x 64. I have the latest version of the Creative Cloud and I am notified frequently that an update for the product is available. But update through the adobe application manager fails. The Error number is (U44M1P7). I have a Mac running OS 10.7.5 on a Mac Pro 1,1 (2006) intel.

This happens often. Don't panic. Your serial number is still good, you simply need to re-enter it and you do not need to purchase anything. Follow these steps:
On receiving Trial/Trial Expired screen
Make sure that you are online
Click on license this software
Perpetual product owners: Log in with adobe ID and enter product serial number
Product should be licensed successfully -
Interworking between Lightroom 5.7 64 bit and Photoshop CS6 extended 64 bit (Raw update 8.7)
I have recently upgraded my Lightroom 5.6 to 5.7 and my Photoshop CS6 extended 64 bit to Raw Update 8.7. Since this update my Image Edit process going from Lightroom to Photoshop is no longer seamless. Right clicking on the image and selecting "edit in Adobe Photoshop CS6" eventually returns an error message "The file could not be Edited because Adobe Photoshop could not be Launched" after about 2 minutes. At this point the image opens in Photoshop

I'd like to update my photoshop cs6 standard to photoshop cs6 extended to work with the 3d features. I've looked on adobe's website but I can only buy the update from photoshop cs5 standard and not cs6. Is there any solution?
Thanks, regardsCS6 cannot be upgraded. If you join the Creative Cloud and download PhotoshopCC2014 you get it with the 3D features.

I can no longer use 3D commands in Photoshop CS6 Extended
I have Photoshop CS6 Extended (Ver 13.0.1x64). My desktop is Windows 7 64 Home premium; and Video card is: AMD Radeon HD 5570. The drivers and operating system is updated.
I have been using simple 3D functions like "New 3D extrusion from..." from time to time without any problems until recently. For unknown reasons now when I try to invoke any 3D command, I get the following message: " Could not complete the "New 3D extrusion from selected layer command because of a program error." This ,message gets repeated for any 3D command.
I checked out 3D functionality in Photoshop CS6 32 bit; and Photoshop CS5.5 Extended. Same problem. However, I can access and use all 3D functions in Illustrator CS6. Clearly, therefore, the video card is not the problem. It looks like one of the recent software updates from Adobe must have caused this problem.

Hello folks how do you do? Well, I'm experiencing a problem using the 'Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended'. In general the 3D feature doesn't really show up in my screen. What can I do? Please some one?

How to Force Enable 3D Menu Contents in PhotoShop CS6 Extended
Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

i am using windows 7 on an HP Pavilion dv6-6108. I purchased Photoshop CS6 extended. The guy said it is a full Retail version and "self installs" the serial number and activates. It doesn't fully install into my control panel programs, instead it puts 2 icons on the desk top for Photoshop, but they have a "install shield" on them. I can't update (the update and register features are grayed out.under the help menu. The program opens, but everytime it does, it brings up the window asking if you want to let this program make changes on the computer. Supposedly the serial number that auto-loads is inscribed on the inner ring of the disk, but you can't really tell what they are. So I have no way to know what it is. Lots of other odd ball stuff that makes me doubt the genuineness of the product. What can I do to establish real or fake? And to get it registered like my other Adobe products.

I am running a TRIAL VERSION of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended on MAC and Bridge does not open. It did open when I first downloaded it - but now a black question mark is over the BR icon and it does not open up. Any ideas from anyone?

I just thought it was interesting and helpful to me to learn that the icon for Bridge does not appear anywhere. Not in Application Folder. Not in the Finders Directory Files. I see your point - if I could locate that icon - I'd be set by dragging it onto my DOCK and launching it from there.
So - I'm assuming I need to uninstall CS6. Please list all the steps for me to uninstall so that I don't miss any CS6 files.
When I search in FINDER for CS6 uninstall- I see two icons - red adobe "UNINSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6" (both files are identical) Under KIND they both say Alias - with two different dates they were last opened (in November - few minutes apart). Is that what I use to uninstall completely all the files related to PS CS6 Extended as well as Bridge?
Do I need to DEACTIVATE ANYTHING ANYWHERE?

I just want to make sure 'everything' related to CS6 Extended is off my computer and out of all the files. In the event i want to re-install - naturally I don't want to run into any conflicting 'issues'.

I note on the forums - going a few years back - that there have been a lot of issues related to this same problem - even in other versions of the Creative Suite. Is Adobe doing anything to rectify this problem for us Photoshop CS Suite lovers or is all their focus just going into CC?

Photoshop CS6 Extended crashing when using Oil Paint filter
I replaced a standard hard drive with a new SSD drive and did a fresh install of Windows 7 and all of my programs. I made sure all Win 7 updates, program updates and drivers are current. The good news is Photoshop CS6 Extended loads much faster. The bad news is now Photoshop crashes when I attempt to use the Oil Paint filter. The only hardware change is the new SSD, I haven't changed any video devices and I never had any issues running the Oil Paint filter before I swapped out hard drives and did the software reinstallations. I've tried the OpenGL Drawing Mode in basic, normal and advanced, and still get crashes when attempting to use oil paint. Any ideas on how to fix this?
