Photoshop CS6 - Texte auf 3D Kugeln !?

Hallo,
mal vorne weg...was PS betrifft bin ich wohl eher Anfänger
Aber vielleicht könnt Ihr mir ja ein wenig weiterhelfen.
Vermutlich ist mein schwerwiegendes Problem für die meisten von Euch ein Leichtigkeit.
Also, ich möchte ein ganz einfaches Bild erstellen mit ein paar 3D-Kugeln darauf.
Anfangs nahm ich für jede Kugel eine neue Ebene,
mittlerweile kopiere ich irgendwie die Kugeln so das alle auf einer Ebene sind.
Wobei ich das mit nem Umweg mache da bei mir der in tutorials beschriebene Rechtsklick
mit den Optionen duplizieren oder instanzieren bei mir nicht zu finden ist.
Nun mal zu dem textproblem:
Ich möchte auf jeder Kugel ein unterschiedliches Wort stehen haben.
Ich erstellte ne neue Ebene, schrieb den Text drauf und erstellte dann eine 3D Kugel
wenn ich diese Kugel nun kopiere kann ich auf der zweiten nun entstandenen Kugel aber den Text nicht mehr bearbeiten
Könnt ihr mir bitte helfen ?
Wie erstelle ich mehrere Kugeln die dann jeweils über ein anderes Wort darauf verfügen ?
Die Kugeln sollten zum Schluss alle auf einer Ebene sein damit sie alle gleich beleuchtet werden.
Über eine hilfreiche Antwort wäre ich Euch wirklich sehr dankbar...

kann ich eine Kugel mit dem text "Text1" erstellen
diese dann 5x kopieren und auf jeder einzelnen dann den text verändern?
Sollte das nicht gehen habe ich ne Frage zu deiner Lösung:
Ich erstelle viele einzelne Kugeln mit eigenen Texten.
Das mit dem zusammenführen habe ich gefunden...
allerdings ergibt sich die nächste Frage und es wäre wirklich lieb
wenn mir einer von euch weiterhelfen würde.

danach ändere ich die Textur auf plastisch grün und mein Text ist nicht mehr sichtbar
wie kann ich also ,wenn ich ne Kugel ohne Text erstelle diese dann mit der richtigen Textur versehe den text danach anfüge...
wie kann ich den text mit der Kugel verbinden damit bei jeder 3d Verschiebung der text fest auf der Kugel mit verschoben wird?
Sorry wenn ich so doof Frage, bin aber wirklich neu und hoffe auf ne antwort

Photoshop CS6 Text leading problem

Hi!
Problem with text editing in Photoshop CS6. Here's an image - a compare between CS3.
In CS6 in editing text mode when select all text & use Alt + keyboard "down" I have too big jumping values of leading. It's really make uncomfortable work to exactly adjustment spacing between the lines in text blocks :(((((....
In CS3 wasn't this problem, everything was excellent with leading & very comfortable work
Is there any fix this problem?

hmmm... I really didn't understnand.....
I just checked it again in CS6:
1. Wrote down text in 3 lines...for instance
2. Select all (Crtl+A)
3. Keep Alt and use keyboard arrows "up" & "down", situation was the same - leading values jumping like 30pt - 44pt - 58 pt.....
Than I wanted to check it on CS5. In CS5 values changing through 2pt: 30 - 32 - 34 etc. Good!...
Than I run CS6 again and did the same.... and....DAMN IT!!....It starts to work I wanted!!!!... Fantastic!!!
Now...I'm in perplexity...a little..... What it was..... I didn't any changes ... not in general preferences...not in text preferences in character palette..... May be it's new any feature & I don't know about it yet....or...may be it bug.....or may be some preferences crosses between different verses of CS?
WIll use it more times and looking....
p.s. now I decide to reload OS and check again & post results later...
p.s.2 ...befor reloading....opened old psd....made in CS3 & tried to change leading in text blocks - it jumped through 10pt........ mmmm ...it looks like CS6 not correctly work with old files (that were made in cs3 for example).... It's not clear for me yet....what problem in

hoffe es ist kein Problem dies auf deutsch z schreiben.
Meine Freundin würde gerne "Photoshop CS6 Student" auf zwei Rechnern (fest PC und Laptop) installieren, ist Dies möglich? Wenn ja, ist es dann ein Problem auf beiden Rechnern Photoshop z starten, habe gehört da kann es Probleme geben?
Wäre noch ein Kaufgrund für uns!

Per the license agreement, you are allowed to have activated installations on two machines, but you can only be using the software on one of them at any given time.

Photoshop "hängt" auf MacBook Pro 13" Retina

Wie der Titel schon sagt Photoshop läuft auf dem MacBook Pro 13" Retina
irgendwie komisch. Wenn ich das Polygon-Lasso nutze und Punkte setze kommt
die Linie immer hinterher, mit dem Pinsel oder ähnlichem das Gleiche.
Man kann schon mit arbeiten aber es ist echt nervig.
An der Leistung vom MacBook kann es gar nicht liegen da ich davor
mit einem Mac Mini der um einiges schlechter war besser gearbeitet hab.
Photoshop CS6 ist auf dem neusten Stand mit Retina Support.
Wäre echt cool wenn von euch jemand einen Rat hätte bin schon am verzweifeln
woran das liegen kann. Bzw. hat jemand auch ein Retina 13" MacBook bei dem das
flüssig läuft?

Ich habe es versucht aber leider noch immer das selbe Ergebnis .
Nun ja ich meinte die neuste Version von CS6 aber inzwischen habe ich mir
mal die Testversion von CC runtergeladen um zu schauen ob da dieser Fehler auch vorhanden ist
und Ja auch dort ist es genau so wie in CS6. Wie es ausschaut scheint Photoshop bzw.
die Adobe Programme noch nicht wirklich auf Retina zu laufen. Schade eigentlich.

Be sure you go to Adobe's Web Site and make sure there are no Updates for CS6

Remember if you have trouble with a software issue it is the software and not caused by the Mac you are using
Many users simply don't remember when you upgrade software you normally have to go to 3rd party web sites and update software as well.

You may have answered my question. I AM using the 64bit version of Illustrator CS6. I had no idea there were bugs in it that affected paths copied and pasted from Illustrator to Photoshop.
A bit more about what I'm trying to accomplish... I'm trying to follow Deke's tutorial (http://www.deke.com/content/dekes-techniques-018-creating-a-3d-pie-chart) which is already difficult since so much has changed between CS5.5 and 6, but then on top of that, I keep getting errors!
So I created the pie chart exactly as he shows and copied and pasted into Photoshop exactly as he does. Before submitting this post, though, I tried drawing just two very simple triangle shapes, copying them both and pasting them into Photoshop as a shape layer. The shapes weren't overlapping, but they were a part of the same shape layer just like the pie chart tutorial.
Thanks for your help. If there is anything else I should try before just giving up because of the 64bit bugs, please let me know.

Interestingly I have found that if I modify a document in CS6 from an earlier CS3-CS5 document and save it - it works fine. But if I create a new document in CS6 the issue persists.
Looks like I will be modifying old documents for the time being

Cannot copy and paste text into Photoshop CS6

I am not able to copy and paste text from non-Adobe programs (like Keynote or Word) into Photoshop CS6. I get an error message reading "Could not complete the Paste Text command because the clipboard data is empty or invalid." I have tried shutting down Photoshop, shutting down other programs, re-starting my computer, adjusting my Preferences and asking Adobe for help by phone and chat. I am on a new iMac and have no third party plug-ins installed. Can anyone help?

-> copy The Text you want to use
-> paste your text (from your clipboard) To App TextEdit
-> then Copy again
-> back to Photoshop paste it on your document layout

It is unbelievable that such an expensive software does not provide a proper lay out wit a high screen resolution!

Hi, I'm getting files from a business that uses Photoshop CS6. I use CS3 and when I edit the text, the text moves to a different location even off screen.
Anyone know how to fix this?
It makes it hard to copy the text and imposible to change the color or make corrections.
This just started when they went to Photoshop CS6.

Ask the folks supplying you with files whether they've updated to the latest version... There were problems with Photoshop CS6 13.0.0. saving text layers in jumbled-up fashion.

Font / text edit problem in photoshop CS6

Hi there,
I have a strange text edit problem in Photoshop CS6 running on Mavericks.
Every time I use the text-tool in PS, write a sentence, mark it and change something like color, font size etc., the marked text vanishes.
I have to "undo" the last step and the changed text appears again.
Every time!
I have a clean installed CS6 with no plugins and no other than system fonts installed.
Everything on a new Mac Pro with OS X 10.9.5

Do you have the latest updates for photoshop cs6?
You can use Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6 to check if there are any available.
Also, if you go to Help>System Info from within photoshop cs6, you can see the Photoshop Version in the top line.
You should be on version 13.0.6
See if turning off Dictation solves the issue.
Go to System Preferences ---> Dictation and Speech -----> select OFF radio button .

Embedding 3D text in Photoshop CS6?

I was wanting to create an image of text embedded in a metal block. Is there any way to use the 3D tools in Photoshop CS6 to create this kind of effect ? I've only been able to extrude text 'up' ( if you know what I mean ! ) rather than down into a negative space. Any help gratefully appreciated !

I wouldn't use the 3D tools to do this. I'd use the Bevel emboss layer style on the text layer, with Direction set to Down, and set the layer's fill to zero.

3d Text not changing colour in Photoshop CS6 Extended-Any Thoughts?

I'm trying 3d text for the 1st time in Photoshop Cs6 Extended and thought I'd post my query on here as I've always found people to be really friendly and helpful.
The problem is every time I create new text and and change the colour it's always showing up as black. Nothing I do seems to alter this. Someone suggested a memory problem but I really don't know
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated

Did a complete reinstall and that seemed to allow me to change colours.Interestingly when I did the offered upgrade it reverted back to the way it was.Although I can't seem to see the widget(with grid) that allows me to easily move the text around.Is that in CS6? Right to Left glitch in Photoshop CS6, and NO Text direction button.

On a windows 7 machine I am having issues with Photoshop CS6 13.0.1 x64 Extended writing in the wrong direction, its goinf RTL instead of LTR. And the Text direction button that is suppsed to be in the Paragraphs palette is missing. I deleted preferences twice and that didnt change anything. I switched back and forth between Midles Eastern and East Asian, and that did nothing as well. I look at my laptop MBP (MAC OS X 10.6), which has PS CS6 Extended 13.0.5 x64, and I dont have the problem with it being locked in RTL, however, my laptop doesnt have the text direction button either, and doing the previous methods did not give me that option. Is there something special I have to download in order to get it or something?

Just so you know I hav read this thread, and tried all of the Methods and NONE of them worked for EITHER Operating System.
Also here is a Video for Windows 7 and a video for MAC OS X and the do opposite methods switching to either to East Asian or Middle East(both videos do the oppposite).

I am now thinking it might be a license thing, but I would like someone from Adobe to confirm this (and possible explain why this is). I am a student, and I use the student license, furthermore the Windows 7 PC I was using was a school computer which is using an educational liscense(all of the computers at school which use and Educational Volumne License are missing this Text Direction button). However another student has the full version and has the Text direction, and when he makes files and brings them school, sometimes his files gives an error when he opens it and it says this photohosp file was made with a different text engine, and then procedes to get stuck in RTL. He has Windows 8 PC and the full version of PS CS6, that is the only reason I think of that is different.
