How do I access Elements after it is downloaded on a mac if there is no icon?

Have you actually installed it? If so, it will be in your "Applications" folder.

Downloading Florabella Actions into Photoshop Elements 12 - Icons not showing up!

I downloaded some Florabella actions into Photoshop Elements 12 and instead of the user friendly, simple icons that are provided, in my Photoshop Elements 12 are these complex, yellow folders that expand and hide themselves. Why is this? How can I get the user friendly icons back, is this an issue with Photoshop Elements 12 compared to ealier versions? Is there a customer care number I can call, I cannot seem to find a number anywhere! Thank you in Advance! I have a MAC.

I think you may misunderstand how layers work. Help> Key Concepts, Layers might help. But to give you a simple example, you have to be able to SEE THROUGH the higher layers if you want edits on the lower layers to show.
If you look at the image you can see each image has a different colour painted stripe in the area above the cat. But, even though the bottom layer is the active layer, only the top layer's stripe is showing. This is because I have no transparent areas or masks on the top layer so nothing below the top layer can be visible in this image.

Photoshop Elements 13 Icons too small

After recently installing Photoshop Elements 13 onto my new Dell laptop, all the icons are rather small, yet they show they are at the largest size. When taking a photography class and we uploaded a RAW photo, the instructions were too tiny to read and I had to use a magnifying glass to read them. Anyone have this problem before?

Have you used Help>Updates from within the pse 13 editor to get the 13.1 update?
After that in the pse 13 editor you can go to Edit>Preferences>Display & Cursors and set the UI Scale Factor to Large-200%.
Then restart the pse 13 editor for the setting to take effect.
Also, you might want to install the 13.1.1 update, which fixes some bugs in the pse 13 organizer:

Why won't the Photoshop Elements 9 icon on the desktop any longer launch the program?

PE Elements 9 only opens and launches when I click on a photo. This seems to be something new.

Just delete the icon and go into the program files or program files(x86) if you have a 64-bit system, find the actual .exe/application file for the editor or the organizer and right-click it and choose to make a desktop shortcut, then use that to launch PSE in the future. The welcome screen got weird when photoshop.com was discontinued.

We don't know because update function is hidden so deep in the Menu bar's help item that many people don't even know about it. Now you are telling us that an icon is on your desktop so this is completely unusual.
Are you sure it is not the icon for the PSE10 to make it easy for you to launch it? Can you post a screenshot of what is on your desktop.

Question: Photoshop Elements 6 Icons Lost in Windows

I updated my system with new adobe reader 11 having had 9 before and then loaded some photos. The new photos displayed as full size pictures but I have lost the icons. My existing photos retained their icons and but disappeared as I looked at them. I use Windows xp.
I found some advice that said to change the affinity for the organiser which I did. I also use a shortcut which was another hint. I tried to update thumbnails but although the egg timer started to run, it didn't solve the problem.
I read that this glitch had been updated in elements 7 and have subsequently purchased pse 11. My catalogs have moved across, but without thumbnails.
Any ideas on how to get them back?

Have you tried going to:
File >> Reconnect >> All Missing Files

I've installed Photoshop Elements 12 on my PC computer. Although the installation message at the end noted the installation was successful, when I tried to double-click on the desktop icon, it won't open. Any ideas?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
and
SLStore to Slstore.old
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
and Right Click on the Photoshop Elements 12 icon and run as administrator

Thank you for the advice. I have a PC and the catalogs were for the most part where you said they would be, on the C drive under Program Data\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs. The last six months folder as well as a cruise I took in 2012 is missing but the rest seems to be there. Now I seem to have two Organizers-the one I just found and the one I created with my March 2013 trip pictures. How do I put them together and find them when I click on the Photoshop elements Organizer icon? You mentioned “pointing “ PSE to it in the default mode? How do I do that?

Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements missing in control panel.

I installed both Photoshop Elements-4 & Premier Elements-4 and used Photoshop Elements-4 for a couple of years. I then upgraded the photo portion by installing Photoshop Elements-6. Three questions:
1. Was Photoshop Elements-4 automatically uninstalled when I installed Photoshop Elements-6?
2. I deleted the Photoshop Elements-4 icon from my desktop. Is this okay to do since I no longer use Photoshop Elements-4?
3. No Photoshop Programs appear in the control panel. (I was looking there to see if both Versions 4 and 6 were listed.) Where are these located? How do I place the program back on the list? Do I need to?

No. Installing a new version of PSE doesn't interfere with an old one.

Do you mean PSE 4 and 6 don't appear in Control Panel > Add Or Remove Programs (XP) or Control Panel > Programs And Features (Vista)? If they don't appear, then part of your Windows registry has likely been corrupted. However, there's no reason to worry about not being able to uninstall PSE 4 unless you really, really need the relatively small amount of disk space (about 400 MB).

Wheres the Adobe Premiere Elements 10 icon?

I just bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 with Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and I have a new HP Pavillion g6, Windows 7, i5 core, 2.4 processor.
The package did not have any clear instructions for installing these programs but the discs said for MAC or Windows.   2 of the disc said to START with disc 2 for Windows 7.
OK I did that, then I went to disc 3, then disc 4. Disc 1 and 5 were marked MAC and did not work. I tried them just in case. Remember there were no clear instructions.
I got the Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 icon on my start screen.
My questions are:        Where is the icon for Adobe Premiere Elements 10?
                                     Was I suppose to go in some particular order?
                                     Should I have tried to install disc 1 and 5, because I tried them and they did not work?
                                     Disc 4 said installation was successful for Adobe Premiere Elements 10, but I could not find it in my programs?
                                     Is it now part of and incorporated into Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and does not need a separate icon?

Why is Photoshop elements 12 is freezing in OS X Yosemite?

I recently upgraded to OS X Yosemite. Now, when I use Photo Elements 12 (PSE12), the programs freezes and I'm forced to "Force Quit." This freezing/hanging occurs when I use the clone stamp or brush tool.. A quick search online reveals that other are having this same problem (Links below). Is there any help out there?? Please!

I just discovered, after prowling around in the Adobe users website, that the problem is probably in the trackpad. At their suggestion, I plugged in an old mouse, and voilà, Photoshop Elements 12 icons all work! **** of a solution, but at least it's a workable work-around.

Downloaded Photoshop Elements to a Windows 7 computer and it won't open

It appeared that I successfully downloaded photoshop elements to my computer, restarted computer and now when I click on the photoshop icon on my desktop, it won't even open for me. I have the current Flash player, not sure what else to try. Any help?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\ PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
If not please try to rename following folders

and
SLStore to Slstore.old
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
and Right Click on the Photoshop Elements 12 icon and run as administrator

I have installed Photoshop Elements 12 on my desktop & laptop. It is working fine on the laptop and had been working on the desktop. Forthe past 3 days I have been getting the error message on desktop "Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working" the Windows closes the program. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If I send the PDF file that has been automatically converted to a PSE-10 the person I send the file to can not open it because they do not have PSE-10. What can I do to stop PSE-10 from converting my PDF files? Don't tell me to upgrade PSE-10 I tried their on-line program and it is too advance for a hobby photographer like myself and their Help Desk is impossible to reach.
