I havev installed a new Hard Drive on my laptop but cannot find my Photoshop Elements product box with the serial number to install Elements 10 or Elememts Premier 10. How can I find out the serial / installation codes for these? I saw a reply however, it was not my name and assumed it was for someone else. Now timed out. Can UI still have help on this matter please?

If you registered PSE before, go to the main page of adobe.com, sign in and go to your account and you should find the serial number there in your purchases.

  • Serial number on Photoshop Elements 13 box not long enough.

Serial number on Photoshop Elements 13 box has 18 digits, but serial number screen displayed when initializing from CD wants 24 digits. Putting in 18 is not enough to be able to move to next step. What do I do?

Whatever number you are trying to use is not a serial number.  The serial number is normally found on whatever box/case the disc is in, not the outer packaging (otherwise anyone could use it).    What you are looking at might be a redemption code, which is what you use to acquire a serial number.

My guess is that you won't be able to do much if you threw away the serial number before using it.  The serial number will not have been externally visible on the box though... doing that would make it available for use by anyone who sees the box in any store.
    To locate the serial number:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html
If you remain unable to locate the serial number you might need to head back to wherever you purchased the product to confirm whether or not you might have thrown out the serial number or if it could even possibly have never been provided.
Beyond that you need to resolve serial number issues with ASdobe Support directly.  Here is a link for chat:

  • Photoshop Elements diagog box is frozen and I can't get it to close.  Do I delete and up date to a high version?  I've been getting along fine until yesterday - not sure what happened

Photoshop Elements 3 dialog box with picture and patent numbers - not sure how to get it fixed.  It's in an infinite loop - have rebooted to no avail.  Should I update to a higher version after deleting this version?

Tried the resetting options, but can't even get to preferences - nothing
will open.  May have to find my Version 3 CD, or delete Photoshop 3 and get
    a higher version.

  • Photoshop Elements 11 boxed software installed once in Dec. 2012 won't install on new computer. Disk can't be read (tested on 3 different computers). How is that even possible of a meticulously clean, well-protected disk?

    Dear Adobe,
    I need your help!
On December 12th, 2012 I ordered (purchased) by mail an official copy of the boxed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 software from B&H Photo (New York, NY). I installed it successfully without any problem on my then computer. I have enjoyed using the program since then, it’s great. This past week, however, that same computer died and I was force to buy a new computer (Windows 8.1).
To my big surprise, the Elements disk wouldn’t load off my DVD drive. The drive just kept “clicking” for 20 minutes.  After trying several times from reboot, for an hour and a half, I then tried installing it on my laptop, just to see if my drive was faulty. No, it wasn’t. It too immediately went into an endless “clicking” routine trying to read the disk. And for one last try, I put it in my sister’s laptop and she got the very same result - endless “clicking”, no install. No computer could read the disk!!!
How is this even possible from a commercially made disk I used only once in 2012! The disk is meticulously clean, unscratched, unscuffed, put away in its original box and stored on my shelf in a cool place away from the sun!
Serial Number of faulty disk:  1057-4186-6029-0039-1511-3940
Is there anything you can do about this as I see no reason why I should be forced to spend over a $130 (in Canada) to replace a disk that worked only once!
    Regards, Andre

copy your disc contents to a desktop directory.  install from that directory.

  • How do I place only the Photoshop Elements dialog box on my dock?

I am using Photoshop Elemetns 9 on an imac running the Lion operating system.  I want to have only the welcome diaolg box on my dock so I have the option of opening the editor, or the organizer, or having access to my photos stored with Adobe.  At the present time my dock has a single PSE icon.  When I click on this icon the Welcome dialog box is
bypassed and the editor is opened.  I am using iphoto to organize my 5000+ pictures and Photoshop Elements 9 for more advanced editing.  But I will probably be moving all my photos to the Photoshop Elements Organizer as soon as I organize the photos in iphoto Events.  This is because there are too many steps required to move edited photos back from
Photoshop Elements 9 to iphoto.  Now I have to move these photos onto my desktop before I can get them back into iphoto.  Can anyone help me with these two BIG PROBLEMS?  A direct response to my e-mail would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

Click the little house at the end of the menu bar in either editor or organizer to bring up the welcome screen and then click hold the welcome screen's dock icon and choose Keep in Dock.
However, it sounds like you aren't using PSE and iphoto in the most efficient way. See this for more about your options:

  • Photoshop elements 13 boxed product - where is the serial number? It's not on the back of the box.

I'm unable to install my photoshop elements 13 as I can not locate the serial number. I bought a boxed product. There is a label on the back of the box, but it doesn't have a 24 alpha numeric code on the back...( a bunch of other numbers but nothing that fits into the serial boxes).

The serial number is never found on the back of the box. Otherwise anyone could read it off the shelf and use it without buying it.

  • Cannot find serial number on Photoshop Elements 13 box?

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 from Amazon, received the box, but cannot find a serial code.
There was no insert in the box, it's not on the DVD sleeve, and the Adobe sticker on the back of the box was covered by another barcode sticker.  When I tried to carefully remove the top sticker it tore the lower one and now I cannot read that either.  What do I do?

  • I bought my photoshop elements 10 box from Costco and I entered in the serial number for the first disk. Then, I removed the disk and put in the second one. I entered it in again, but it said that it was an invalid number. It worked on the first disk, but

  • Photoshop elements 11: No dialog box?

I've recently purchased Photoshop elements 11 and when I insert the disc to download it nothing comes up on the screen. Step 2 of the installation guide is to 'In the adobe photoshop elements dialog box, click instill adobe photoshop elements' but I have nothing to click. Tried browsing to the dvd using windows explorer but didn't get anything. How can I download what I have purchased?

    Hi freedomalice05,
In the installation disk there must be a file named setup.exe
Please run this file and the instaltion should begin.
Also make sure you got the right disk for the right OS.
Alternatively you can try downloading PSE 11 from our website : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us
