Photoshop Elements 13, photo EDITOR will not open.

Purchased Photoshop Elements 13. Install seemed to work with no issues. Organizer opens with no issues. Editor does not open; when I click on Editor, the blue loading bar moves for about 6 seconds, then stops, and nothing opens.
Any help would be nice... first time Photoshop buyer.

I don't know if you solve your problem, but I solved mine...
Editor would not open, I had to sign in, then Accept the terms of the license and it would bring me back to the Welcome page where a had the choice of ''Organizer or Editor''
The problem was created bye Internet Explorer. I had to go in Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings and Remove the check at the bottom ''Use proxy server for your lan''
After that I restarted my program and It start working. I did notice that the check on ''Use proxy server for your lan'' comes back but do not affect my program to start after. It was on the first time that I was
trying to run the program after the install (what I mean, is I did not run photo shop before this install)

When I get the opening Organiser/Photo Editor page if I click on Organiser it takes me in, but if I click on Photo Editor it asks for my Adobe ID etc and then just goes back to the opening page, it won't take me further.
I've tried opening from the Program files and I've installed the trial online and then entered my product key, but still the same.

Photoshop Elements 11 Photo Editor does not open.

I needed to do a Win 7 System Restore, and now upon relaunching Photoshop 11, the Organizer will open, but Photo Editor will not open.

Awesome, glad it's working!
Your disc should not be corrupted and I am not sure why it wouldn't have worked. It is always possible that not deactivating caused problems, but I doubt it since you are installing to the same computer. The time you need to deactivate is if you move to a different computer.

Photoshop Elements 11 Photo Editor won't open, trial info keeps popping up

Okay, I own Photoshop Elements 11 but the Photo Editor refuses to open. When I click it, a pop up shows up for the trial version of PSE 11 saying I should buy it. I already have the lisence for PSE11 so i don't know what the problem is. (Also Organizer works but won't upload images and I tried the CRT+shift+Alt things but the delete preferences popup doesn't show.)
I might have deleted a plug-in or something by accident, not sure if that would effect it but I did a systems restore.

I don't want to re-install because my account says I can't.
What exactly is the message you're getting?

Elements 12 Photo Editor will not start - why?

Here again, everything is loaded and works except the photo editor. Organizer and Premiere work but when I try to use the photo editor it just looks like it is trying to start but then stops. I have tried from both the file folder and the hello screen, also as as administrator. No luck at all.
Anyone have an idea? Any ideas are better than none!!!!

Try making a shortcut to launch the Editor directly, bypassing the welcome screen. Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12
Find the file called PhotoshopElementsEditor (click the image below)
Right-click on the application and choose:
Send to >> Desktop (shortcut)
Go to your desktop and double-click on your new shortcut icon to launch.

I have installed photoshop elements 13 but it will not open probably because I now notice I downloaded the 32 bit op system not the 64 op bit version. How can I remedy this?

Full program installed with serial number, but when I try to open Photo editor message appears your trial period has expired.

I had to reboot my computer to factory settings and installed El 7 several times and editor will not open. Error message elements editor has stoped working. I have installed it in my sons computer and no problem. Can any one pull me out of this black hole?????????????

Hi, Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below: Solution 1:1. Close Elements.2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences. Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list. Solution 4: On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:    Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0\Locales\\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.    Now launch PSE and check if it works. Photoshop Elements 12 Editor will not open from Organizer

My Photoshop Elements 12 Editor will not open from the Organizer - after I enter my password to login, I just get a small spinning circle on the screen but the editor never loads

HERE IS WHAT FIXED MY ISSUE when Organizer will open, but Editor will not:

     Re- name SLCache folder present at location "<root drive:>\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache" (to oldSLCache for example)
     Win: Also rename opm.db on your machine to resolve this issue @ <root drive>\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE (to oldopm.db for example)
     Mac : Users Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
     Now re-launch the application.

Photoshop Elements 11 Editor will not open pictures

My Photostop Elements 11 Editor will not open pictues. I have tried to uninstall/install the product and this didn't work. I can get it to work once in awhile and then it stops working again. Suggestions?

Go to the editor preferences>general, click this button and restart the editor:
Uninstalling doesn't do anything about the preference files.

Elements 12 (Editor) will not open?

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 installed on my Windows 7 computer.
I am no longer able to open the Editor portion of the program. The Organizer seems to be working but every time I try to switch to the Editor, I get the following error message.
"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Close program.

Premier elements 13 editor will not open and gives the error A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program. I have reinstalled twice and confirmed my pc meets all the requierments.
