Photosmart 6520 e Windows 7 printer says it is connected to network, but will not print.

I've followed all suggestions in troubleshooting both from manual and on line. Shut off firewall, unplugged, plugged waited. Nothing changes. All printouts from the printer say connected, but will not print and computer detection of the printer says cannot be located. Help!!

HP Photosmart c4450 prints and scans normal 8.5x11 fine, but will not print 4x6 laminate pictures. Using the printer completely unconnected from a pc or network, using a SSD memory card to print off. As the printer begins the print, the printer prints only about 3/4 of the image, and clips the rest leaving it blank. Within the options, you can see the whole picture on the LCD screen, and selecting the 4x6 print mode it still clips the picture.
Not sure exactly whats going on, the printer was doing this fine for about a year, and just randomly started to print with the image cut off at the beging and ending abruptly at the end only printing half-3/4's. Also using the same memory card, have not tried a different card though. Any ideas?

As far as I know, you cannot scan or perform software-based copying over a Bluetooth connection. Printing is doable. Perhaps that is something that is in the pipe for developement.

My deskjet 3050 says it is connected to the wireless network but will not print unless wirelessly

my deskjet 3050 all in one j610 printer will not print wirelessly even tho it says it is connected to the network.
It will only print when connected by usb cable.

I am connected to HP4000 on my network but when I print, the copy has no words. The preview shows the copy I want to print but it does not print. I have Maverick. Do I need to update to snow lepard fonts or what do I do.

Xerox Phaser 6350DP - Connected and Ready but will NOT PRINT!! Help.

'm using OS 10.4.11 to connect to a printer on a Windows server using LDP. I can add the printer, the PPD works, and when I print, the job shows up in the queue, then moves to the "Completed" section. But it never prints. I can even go to "Supply Levels" and it gets the correct toner levels for the printer, so I know they're connecting. But my computer thinks the job has printed, even though it hasn't. What gives?
The Printer is connected to one Router (PC Based) and from the Router one other computer is connected (Windows PC). I can talk to the computer and do test pages and everything but when i try to print anything from my computer it says the Job was completed when it hasn't printed a thing.
Please Help. If i have to re-install the OS will i lose ALL files i have saved??
Please tell me step by step for i am a novice.

Internet says it is connected, even ticked but will not browse or recieve messages or email after update. Why is this? How can I solve it? Im DESPERATE!!!

I recently updated to 10.7 Mountain lion but i cannot browse anything any more. No email or imessage or anything but it says i am connected with a tick next to the network not just at the top. Any ideas why. It worked on 10.6!

I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. Let me give you a slightly different perspective than everyone else here. You are using an unsecured wireless network, which means that all your network traffic is easily available for viewing by anyone else using that network. That's bad. Very bad, for you, unless you absolutely trust everyone who lives within range of this network. So stop doing it.
As to the Mac not connecting, wireless networking is simply too complex for any reasonable answer without more information. There are many possible error points, and as often as not it's the Mac that can connect and the Windows PC that cannot. Since you can't give us any information about the configuration of the neighbor's network, and can't make any changes to it, we can't do much to help you troubleshoot it.

I have samba and cups setup. I have been trying to connect to my windows printer. Here is my setup

for cups some things I have tried are

I can see the printer with smbclient
So the printer spools, but will not print. the paper does not move I just hear the printer. Also when I watch the print queues in windows and linux. Cups shows that it sent the document, but when I watch the windows queue it shows the document, but the size of the document stays at 32 kb out of 1.8 mb and says printing. I hope this makes sense. I am just trying to keep things very simple at this point. I just want to understand what the problem is and build on it.

Please provide the following relevant information so someone can help including:

Complete and Detailed Problem Description -
Operating System of computer (including service pack revision) - done
Connection Method - USB, Hardwired LAN, Wireless? -
Make and model of router and modem? -
Error messages - on printer screen and/or computer, any blinking light patterns?
If wireless, when the problem occurs, what is status of Blue Wireless light on printer, on, off or blinking? –
Power off printer and router. Power on router and wait 3 mins, power on printer. Does it connect to the router now? Do you have a valid IP address?

LaserJet Pro Scans, prints test page but will not print from a file

I installed a LaserJet Pro200 MFP M276nw on my wife's Toshiba Satellite (Windows 7 64Bit OS) laptop yesterday (Printer is brand new out of the box). I installed with a wireless connection. It will print a test page and also scan wirelessly but will not print from a file i.e. a PDF. I installed it on my HP Probook this morning and it works fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The thought of paying Geek Squad 75 bucks rubs me the wrong way, especially since i just paid them 100 for an extended warranty. Thanks!

I see by your post that the printer won't print a PDF document from the one computer.

My HP 6310 will print a test page fine, but will not print from Publisher, Notepad, etc. It goes thru the motions, but the image printed is almost not there. I have new ink cartridges in it. I have adjusted the print settings. STILL won't print properly. WTH???

Hm, okay, thanks for getting back to me again!
Try power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer and test print again.

I seem to have lost my connection to the printer. Printer copies so is operating but will not print

The printer is on and working as in making copies but will not print from computer. I am using wireless option.

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?

Ipad will connect no problem to other networks.

First thing you need I think is to get your iMac connected to the Internet.
Shut down your iMac and you iPad. Then power off your router. Wait 30 seconds and power up the router.
After the router indicates that it is connected to the Internet then start up your iMac and see if it connects. If the iMac connects to the Internet then your iPad should too.
If this power up sequence doesn't work you'll have to dig into the router setup to make sure it is working properly.

Firefox 5 with Fedora 15 prints text, but will not print images from web pages.

I have a Pentium 3 laptop running Fedora 15 and using Firefox 5.0. Firefox will print the text from a website, but will not print the images. It just leaves the spaces blank where the images should be. Print preview shows the same results. I have a AMD desktop and a Pentium 4 laptop running the same software, except that the desktop is running the 64-bit version of Fedora 15 and the second laptop is running the 32-bit version. The desktop prints the text and images without very many problems, but both laptops will print the text, but ''not'' the images.
As a test, I downgraded Firefox from version 5.0 to 4.0.1 on the Pentium 4 laptop and encountered the same problem. So, since I do not print much from either laptop, I had not before seen this problem. The desktop has never seen it.
I figure it may be an about:config problem, but I do not know what the parameter may be that is causing the problem.
