Photostream not syncing on windows 8 64 bit

I have tried everything I can think of to get the photostream synced. Signed in, signed out, signed back in, no good. Uninstalled, reinstalled, no good. Deleted cache files, no good. My photostream folder will show 5 pictures most of the time, and the most I got it up to was 39. Please Helppppppppp!! Apple products are supposed to be seemless.

As of version 2.1 of iCloud Control Panel, it IS supposed to support Windows 8. It says so in this Apple Support article:

That being said, there's obviously some issues with getting it to run on Windows 8. Since I made this post I eventually did get it working, but I tried SO MANY different troubleshooting steps trying to fix it, that I have no idea what it was that actually solved the problem.

Photostream hasn't synced with my Windows 8.1 pc since March 21st. I have working wi-fi, Photostream and My Cloud are both checked within iCloud options yet I'm not getting pictures on my pc.

Try a low-tech solution. Check the condition of the HotSync port connection on both the T3 and the cradle.
Look for any possible corrosion, coating, or bent fingers in the cradle. Sometimes a good cleaning with either Contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol can work miracles! (Use a q-tip swabbed in it, do not pour it onto the PDA).

Try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?
If you still can't get a working installer from the standard download page, try the following direct download links for 11.1.5.5:

ipod touch 5th gen will not sync after windows 8.1 update. Computer see's Itouch as mass storage and charges. Worked with Window's 8 fine, as soon as update was done and restarted computer Itouch doesn't show up. Itouch seen on two other computers.

Although you used the new USB 3.0 port, the actual connection speed is still USB2.0, as the iPod Dock connector, does not have the 10 times faster USB3.0 signal pins, the connection speed is still 480Mbits/s
I assumed that you have tried the other USB 2.0 port to no success..
Can you do the iPod Disk diagnostic as posted earlier by tt2, it wont fix your problem, but helps in troubleshooting.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

Has this iPod ever worked on this PC or is this the first time you have time you have tried connecting it?
Have you carefully worked through each and every single suggestion in this Apple support document?

If your windows based computer is no longer syncing with Photostream, its time to stop wasting time looking for a solution and look elsewhere like DropBox, etc.. Its become quite obvious over the last few months APPLE NO LONGER SUPPORTS or CARES about win users. Since last fall my updated Photostream fails to stay synced to any of my win7 pc's after trying about every solution posted. Some may work briefly, but they quickly die out........

Taking about 300 pics/week, Photostream was the most productive and time saving cloud app I have. Not to mention the other cloud sync features (calendar) I have been using since MobileMe. After months of trying different solutions, I just gave up. Kinda like what Apple has done with Win users like me????? Still like my old Photostream better when it used to work, but that's in the past now just as Apples quality image is.

Since getting new Dell Inspiron i55 running Wiondows 7 64bit, my ipod will not sync. It stated but termianted without doing any transfer. Tried running iTunes in 32bit mode. Diagnostics

Your Inspiron 580 looks to have an Intel 5-series chipset (an H57 in your case). They can be a bit cranky on iPod/iPhone/iPad connections if they've got older BIOSes and chipsets.
Try heading to your drivers and downloads page at Dell and making sure your BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date. (Now's probably a good time to update other componentry too if you're behind.)

Iphone not syncing with 64-bit Vista Ultimate

hello, i order a new iphone and can not sync with itunes. windows is detecting it is connected, but not with itunes. I try to see if it can connect with my laptop(windows XP Home 32-Bit) and it can, so it was not the phone that can't sync with itunes. i try everything from uninstalling to running MSCONFIG Mode and checking that apple mobile Device is working. Itunes is up to date and windows vista is as well.
Anyone else have this problem and may have a solution to it.

RAM: 4 GB of PC6800
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit Service Pack 1 Update.

You did not mention whether you tried creating a test admin user, that might be worth trying.
You could trying uninstalling iTunes completely and then download fresh copy and use the 'right-click' then 'run as admin' approach to installing itunes.

Lumia 620 calenler will not sync with windows 8 on...

When I make an entry on my phone calender, Lumia 620, it does not sync with my pc running windows 8.
It does sync the other way round, when I make a diary entry in my calender on the pc the entry does show up on my phone.
On my phone settings (email +account) my Microsoft account and my google account are both added.
My contacts sync both ways OK.

Try this:
Enter an appointment or something
goto Settings >email+account
tap and hold Microsoft account > sync
open http://calendar.live.com
your appointment should be there

I have ipod classic, 160gb, with new computer with Windows 8 and latest version of Itunes - came from xp and previous version of itunes - and never had a syncing problem.
All my songs are in new itunes on new computer, however ipod will not sync. Have received -50, and duplicate file name - I restored and it will go so far and then freeze. Or I get -53. Have tried lots of suggestions discovered on pages like these... but none have worked. I do see there is a problem with classic and new itunes - does anyone have any solutions??

Well I finally figured out the problem, not thanks to anyone from Apple for that matter. You would asume this problem has happened before and is still happening. The problem was I couldn't copy certain songs anymore from iTunes to my iPod Classic. When trying to copy certain songs I got an error.
If you have this problem it means your song file is corrupted. You can simply check this by trying to copy it from your hard drive to an external hard drive. Here you will also get an error message.
This means you need to replace all the corrupted files by a back up on your hard drive or download it again. I did this and now everything works fine.
Hope this will solve a lot of problems.

The 6.2 software will not work with windows 7. I have a new computer and can not get the phones to hot sync with my new computer. The Bluetooth does not recognize either of the phones. None of the other Bluetooth devices nor my car recognizes the phones. I do not have a data package with the phones so doing anything over the internet is out of the question.
