PI 2.2; monitor autonmous bridges?

Can Prime observe and monitor autonomous Bridges?
I have 19 Bridge pairs, mostly 1410's, some 1310's and few 1232's I would like to have stats on..
I tried a device discovery of a pair which completed successfully but I can't find the results..
Anyone do this?
David

See below, you can get some of those stats by click the device. If you want more specifics under Reports tab & select the AP you want & generate a customized report.

  • How do I get photos to preview in a second monitor on Bridge CC?

    This question must have been asked here before but I wasn't able to find the answer. Sorry if this is a repeat question...
    How do I get photos to preview in a second monitor on Bridge CC? It's harder to find the answer this than I expected it to be.
    Thanks.
    Windows 7, i7, Nvidia Quadro 4000

    Thanks, Curt. I wondered if that was it.
    In other CC applications I can detatch the tab and drag it over. I guess it's not that bad to do the stretch, though.
    Thanks again.

  • How to monitor Message Bridge runtime using WLST

    Hi Readers,
    I would like to monitor Message Bridge runtime on weblogic 8.1 using WLST script.
    Can anybody tell if there is any possibility? Is there a MBEAN avaialble for Messaging Bridge.?
    Edited by: user13254842 on 09-Sep-2010 23:17

    Hi,
    I don't recall whether the console provides a way to monitor the bridge, or whether the MessagingBridgeRuntimeMBean hangs off of some parent mbean, but you can obtain arbitrary mbeans using standard JMX query calls.
    Some scratch code that I have:
      private static MBeanServerConnection getConnection(
        String urlStr,
        String username,
        String password,
        String mbeanServer
      ) throws Exception {
        // This code implicitly requires weblogic classes to be in the classpath
        // in order to run efficiently, but its possible to get it to work without
        // any WL at all.   See
        //   http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs90/jmx/accessWLS.html#1118690
        // The code could be changed to automatically detect if WL is in
        // the classpath, and switch to "iiop" mode if it isn't.
        URI url = new URI(urlStr);
        Hashtable h = new Hashtable();
        h.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, username);
        h.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, password);
        h.put(
          JMXConnectorFactory.PROTOCOL_PROVIDER_PACKAGES,
          JMX_PROTOCOL_PROVIDER
        JMXServiceURL serviceURL = new JMXServiceURL(
           url.getScheme(), url.getHost(), url.getPort(), JMX_JNDI_ROOT + mbeanServe
        JMXConnector connector = JMXConnectorFactory.connect(serviceURL, h);
        return connector.getMBeanServerConnection();
    conn = getConnection(url, user, pass, "weblogic.management.mbeanservers.domainruntime")
    String type = "JMSServerRuntime";    // not sure may need to add "MBean" or strip off "Runtime", bridge = "MessagingBridgeRuntime"
    Set xxx =    conn.queryMBeans(new ObjectName("*:Type=" + type + ",*"), null);Hope this helps,

  • Workspace with Dual Monitors in Bridge

    I'm operating with two monitors. On my main monitor I have the Preview Panel open at full screen size. On my secondary monitor I have the content panel open with thumbnails showing. I've tried several times to save this as a single workspace but to no avail. Saving the main monitor workspace is fine. But I then need to save the second monitor workspace as a separate workspace.
    In doing so the second monitor workspace (thumbnails) jumps back to the first monitor & emulates what the main monitor shows. I'd like to be able to save dual monitor workspaces as unique workspaces. Hope this makes sense.
    Kevin

    Kevin,
    <br />
    <br /> You don't mention what versions of Bridge and the OS you're running.
    <br />
    <br /> I have the Preview panel on my main monitor and everything else on the second monitor. This works for me in CS4 and in CS3 or CS2. No problem saving that as my default space. I'm running Tiger 10.4.11.

    <br /> Start fresh, and this time do not attempt to move the
    <i>pods</i> around, rather move the
    <b>panels</b>. Bridge doesn't like it when you move the pods themselves.

  • Save Dual Monitor Setup - Bridge CS5?

    I open Bridge on monitor 1. I do a new synchronized window and move the new window to monitor 2. Monitor 1 has my normal workspace definition. I modify the Bridge window on monitor 2 to only have a Content/Preview panel. Thus, when I select a thumbnail on monitor 1 it is shown in the Preview panel on monitor 2. Just what I want.
    How can I configure Bridge to remember this dual monitor setup? As it is now, I have to reconfigure the dual monitor each time I restart.
    Thanks

    Yes.
    Window > New Synchronized Window
    With the new window on top, choose the Window menu, remove all Panels except the Preview window
    Move Content panel over so it is no longer visible and only Preview window is visible
    (Click on thumbnail on monitor 1 and it is shown in Preview mode in Window 2 -- great, just what I want)
    At this point, the Bridge workspace on both monitors is "Mike's Workspace"
    I can save the Monitor 2 workspace to Mike's Dual Workspace.
    Close Bridge on Monitor 2
    Close Bridge on Monitor 1
    Restart Bridge
    Monitor 1 opens as Mike's Dual Workspace, but it is the same as Mike's Workspace
    Change workspace on Monitor 1 to Mike's Workspace - it has the correct configuration.
    Window > New Synchronized Window and start the configuration as before.
    Am I missing something?

  • Bridge 2 monitors

    I should know this but I don't does the bridge work with 2 monitors like photoshop? If so How?

    Hi
    I am using two monitors with Bridge, its BRILLIANT.... however I did not need to do anything special to set it up to work with adobe products.. just set up the PC to work with both and drag and drop accross the screens. Its so good....
    However I do have trouble with Adobe connect is simply is not working for me - although I am not yet sure if that has anything to do with two screen use or not?
    Hope this did not muddy your water further.

  • Essbase Analytical Link Bridge Status Monitoring

    Hi Gurus,
    Is there any way for monitoring EAL bridge and set up an alert whenever it goes down due to bridge failure.
    Thanks,
    Arvind.

    Hi,
    Are you connecting with the admin user ? if not make sure you have necessary access rights.
    Also try to connect on the sql server with the eal login (in my case "epmdb") and check if you can open the tables.

  • Camera Raw window appears in wrong monitor

    About a week ago, the camera raw window started appearing in the secondary monitor of my pair and I cannot stop it from starting there. It appears with the title bar up off the top of the screen and I can just barely grab the top corner of it from the edge of the primary monitor and drag it out where I can move it.
    Prior to this, if I opened a raw file directly into CS3, it would start in the primary where CS3 is placed or if I right clicked a raw file in Bridge and chose open in CR, then it would open in the secondary monitor where Bridge is located. Now I don't get the choice. This was happening before the latest updates which all appear okay. System is a PC by the way.
    I would appreciate any assistance.
    Col

    Okay, here's a lesson for us all. I had accidentally hit the F key (Full screen mode toggle) whilst in there and it fills the screen with no hope of getting to the edges. Once back in normal mode all is well again!!!!! Embarassed
    Thanks for the help

  • Previews in Bridge CS5 not updating with changes in Photoshop CS5

    The changes I make to a file in Photoshop are not updating in the same files previewed in Bridge. The Refresh button does not make a difference. Is this to do with Cache settings or some other Preferences perhaps?
    How do I make my images in Bridge become accurate representations of my files being edited in Photoshop?

    I am aware of the delay in writing the cache.  It only took one stuffed-up rename to make sure I was aware of that in CS3 Bridge. I use many different camera bodies and have to sort the images into Date Created order to rename them.  If Bridge hasn't finished reading all the EXIF data, the images will not be in the correct order and will rename out of order.
    The xmp files are all created the first time I open the RAW files in ACR to do my edit.  Prior to this, they don't exist, so if I see they exist, I don't need to check their creation date.  This only changes if I am editing previously edited RAW files and I don't do that often.  Once is usually enough when dealing with that many files.
    There shouldn't be a problem with 10,000 RAW files as the cache is set to 50GB and Adobe shows this as 500,000 files.  I know that is basically JPEG files.  A corrupt cache is not the same thing as corrupt RAW files, and there are several copies of the RAW files anyway as a good back-up strategy requires.
    Neither of my swap files/scratch pads are on RAID drives so I doubt this is the problem.  I don't recall Bridge ever using more than 25% of the CPU Resources either.  It's a 32-bit program anyway and probablky won't use all four cores of the Quad-core CPU...I might be wrong there, but I haven't noticed it doing so anyway.
    My WPI figures were much higher when I was running a RAID0 Boot Disc, but one disc went belly-up and I decided against a RAID primary boot disc after that.
    I'm sure that there are lots of people out there with lesser-spec'd computers who are not having the same problem.  Equally, I'm sure that there are others out there with the same or similar problems.  I'd like to hear from them about what they have done to eliminate the problem, or are we all doing work-arounds because Adobe haven't fixed a bug.  I appreciate your attempts to help with this issue Curt, so don't feel that I'm simply dismissing your suggestions.  I am hopeful though that someone who uses their system and CS5 in ways similar to me might have encountered and solved this issue.
    Screen capture showing the Resource Monitor.  Bridge going flat-out using only 7% of CPU and very little RAM.  I have hardware rendering enabled.

  • Message Bridge problems

    Hi Tom,
              Message Bridge is configured to transfer messages from AQ to DQ.
              When the Message Bridge is deployed on Admin Server & Cluster, it works successfully. But, a closer look reveals that it’s the instance deployed on the Admin Server (and not the ones on the cluster) which is doing the job of looking up AQ & DQ and transferring messages from AQ to DQ. Monitoring Message Bridge instances on the cluster shows "WARN: failed to look up the source adapter." The corrective action for this is "Check if the adapter is deployed or the JNDI name in the source JMSBridgeDestination instance is correct.". But the adapter is correctly deployed and the JNDI name of the AQ is correctly bound, else the Message Bridge wouldn't have shown "Forwarding messages." for Admin Server's Message Bridge instances. The same set of configuration (MB destinations and MB) is shared by the Message Bridge instances on Admin Server & Cluster. So, the question of incorrect configuration of the JMS destinations i.e. AQ & DQ doesn't arise.
              Can you point out where the problem could be ? ?:|
              Cheers
              Dips

    Patch for this problem should be added to the front of your WLS instance's CLASSPATH prior to any weblogic classes. This issue is resolved in WLS 8.1 SP3 and this is the recommended path to resolution, the patch should be used only if one can't upgrade to SP3.
              CR126671
              Setup a cluster configuration on 8.1SP1 with at least on managed server in the cluster. Deploy the bridge adapter jms-xa-adp.rar to the cluster. Configure a bridge and target it to the cluster.Bridge never receives Add
              Notification for the adapter. However, if you retarget the adapter to the individual servers in the cluster it works fine.

  • How to Montior Messaging Bridge weblogic 10.1?

    I got few message bridges in wlS 10.1 environment . i am unable to find where the option to monotor bridge. ( wls docs showing got to server -> services-> bridge) "This page summarizes the messaging bridge instances that have been explicitly targeted to this Server" but its telling no items to display. I went throug the following steps but no luck
    Monitor messaging bridge instances
    To monitor the status of all configured messaging bridges in your domain:
    In the left pane of the console, expand Environment and select Servers.
    Select the specific server instance where the messaging bridge is configured.
    In the right pane, select the top Services tab, then select Bridge.
    Select the bridge instance whose status you want to monitor.
    Same thing i do in 8.1 is servrver -> services->bridge under this tab there is optin "Monitor all messaging bridge runtimes" when we click on this it shows about ste status of all bridges configured for this sever (Active /Inactive)
    Can some one help same option in wls 10.1
    Thanks

    Perhaps you're running into a bug, please consider opening a case with customer support. As a work-around, you might want to try using Java or WLST to find and display the bridge's JMX runtime mbean (MessagingBridgeRuntime).

  • Can't close Bridge to continue download

    I purchase a  CS5.5 upgrade and after entering my serial number started my installation.  I was then instructed to close CS5.5 Bridge in order to continue.  How can I close CS5.5 Bridge before it has been installed.  I have no Bridge versions of any kind  open.  I rebooted to make sure nothing was open and tried again and got the same prompt.  Don't know what to do next???

    How can I close CS5.5 Bridge before it has been installed.
    You're installing an upgrade, are you not? so there is some version of Bridge on the system. -->Task Manager or Activity Monitor --> Processes --> Bridge.exe/ Bridge.app. Right-click, terminate.

  • Bridge reconnect failure

              I have setup a durable, exactly-once messaging bridge between two WLS7 (sp4)
              servers:
              <MessagingBridge
              AsyncEnabled="true"
              Name="MyMessaging Bridge 2"
              QOSDegradationAllowed="false"
              SourceDestination="RemoteTopic"
              Started="true"
              TargetDestination="LocalTopic"
              Targets="devel-server"/>
              The source destination is located on a remote machine, while the
              target destination is located on the same machine as the bridge.
              If I unplug the network cable on the server hosting the bridge for a
              few seconds, the bridge cannot reconnect once I plug it back in:
              InvalidClientIDException: Client id,MessagingBridge.MyMessaging Bridge
              2, is in use.
              The only way to fix the problem is by restarting one of the servers.
              I have tried waiting over an hour, still nothing happens.
              The problem seems to be that the remote server does not detect that
              the connection is dead and therefore regards the "old" subscription as
              active. If I monitor the bridge subscription on the remote server
              while the network cable is unplugged, its "active" field remains
              "true".
              So something is fishy here. Any ideas what I might have done wrong?
              Regards,
              Mattias

    Hi Mattias,
              Your diagnosis seems correct. There may be a
              problem at the RMI layer, not the JMS layer (JMS
              layers on top of RMI), as RMI is responsible for
              detecting network failures. So you might try posting
              to the RMI newsgroup - but I further suggest
              contacting customer support. The failure should
              have been detected within a couple of minutes -
              (unless you deliberately configured large timeout
              values for WL's internal networking heartbeats -
              which would be unusual).

  • What is Difference between SXMB_MONI and SXMB_MONITOR?

    what is Difference between SXMB_MONI and SXMB_MONITOR?
    Can any explain to this question.please?

    Hello,
    Both are same.
    SXMB_MONI is area menu which will contain all multiple transactions pertaining to monitoring.
    SXMB_MONI contains some functions viz monitoring for Bridging, Archived Msgs, Job overview, persistence layer analysis.
    SXI_monitor directly leads to the message monitoring for the IS, which is part of the SXMB_MONI.
    SXI_MONITOR directly executes the monitoring report.
