    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that SharePoint Online Site was unable to load web part and got the “Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPUpgradeCompatibilityException” error.
Per my knowledge, the SPUpgradeCompatibilityException occurs during upgrade when the front-end Web server attempts to connect to an incompatible database.
Please check whether the database is compatible.
Regarding SharePoint Online, for quick and accurate answers to your questions, it is recommended that you initial a new thread in Office 365 forum.

I feel an older upgrade than Maverick might be better for my machine?
Is it possible to upgrade to ie, 10,7? or another recommended upgrade.

Upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99.
If you sign into the App Store and try to purchase Mountain Lion but the App Store says your computer is not compatible then you may still be able to upgrade to Lion per the following information.
    A. Upgrading to Mountain Lion or Mavericks
To upgrade to Mountain Lion or Mavericks you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion or Mavericks (Free) from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion — System Requirements
         OS X Mavericks- System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) — Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) —
                 Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) — Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
    Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table — RoaringApps.
    B. Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.

  • CUOM Upgrade License Requirements

    Hi
I have a client that is on CUOM (version 2.3) and CUPM (Version 2.1).  They want to upgrade to version 8.6 for both.  I read from the Cisco docs on CUPM that no license upgrade is needed and as such the existing licenses will still be valid.  However, I could not find this information for CUOM.
Do we need upgrade license for CUOM or will the current license still be valid when we perform the upgrade on the same machine.  If upgrade license is required, does anyone know what is the part number for ordering?

  • 'RSTS_READ' after upgrade error Required conversion not possible (ZFORM16)

    Hi,
We have recently upgraded from SAP 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0.
For client requirements, they have developed ZFORM16 in 2006 by copying the standard form HINCF160.
But after upgradation, when we execute ZFORM16  for 2006 data we are getting the error message:
                             Required conversion not possible
Some analysis of the issue is:
    1)     In include: ZPCF16IN3 at statement:    PERFORM read_temse.         " MDSNT927906
    2)     It is going to include : ZPCF16IN8 we are getting the error message at the statement :
    call function 'RSTS_READ'
The error message is: Required conversion not possible
When I have checked the standard of form 16 HINCF160 code in ECC 6.0 is as:
In include PCF16IN3, PERFORM read_temse. Statement is commented and the corresponding form in PCF16IN8 include is also commented (Form  read_temse)  and now SAP is using different logic to get the DETAILS  OF TAX DEDUCTED.
If I try to comment the PERFORM read_temse in ZPCF16IN3 then I am able to get the Form16 but DETAILS  OF TAX DEDUCTED are not displayed. DETAILS  OF TAX DEDUCTED logic is in PERFORM read_temse in ZPCF16IN3.
Can someone help me in solving the issue?
    Regards,
    Prem

We had to restart SAP & Oracle and the issue is solved

  • SEM / BW upgrade advise required - Please help urgently

    Hi,
We have migrated from a different company (January 2006) where they were using SEM -BPS and BCS. After the migration, we are not using SEM. Our BW version is 3.10. Our SAP R/3 version is 4.6C.
Now, We are planning to implement SEM- BCS. Our existing system component informations are as below.
    SAP_BW - Release 3.10 (Support pack 22)
    SEM_BW -Release 3.50 (Support pack17)
    SAP_BASIS - Release 6.20 (Support pack 54)
    SAP_ABA -Release 6.20 (Support pack 54)
    PI_BASIS - 2004_1_620 (Support pack 10)
    FINBASIS -200 (Support pack18)
    BI_CONT - 330 (Support pack 17)
We have the following questions. Please advise.
    1. Understood that the mainstream maintenance for BW 3.10 has ended on December 2006 ( The same for SAP_SEM: 3.50 also). So, If we upgrade to BW3.5 (Netweaver 2004), whether we will get the SEM 4.00 along with the upgrade so that we will have everything BW 3.5 and SEM 4.0 in a single box?
    2. I am still seeing that the SEM_BW version 3.50 in the system component informations. Does that mean that we still have SEM components within BW 3.10?  If yes, can we upgrade this to SEM 4.00 so that our BW system will get  upgrade to BW 3.5?
    3. Or what is the alternative, you suggest so that we will have SEM4.0
We are confused. Please advise at your earliest.
Please also send some links where we can compare the versions for BW/ SEM.
    Thanks .

    Hi,
With BW 3.5 you'll need to upgrade SEM to SEM 4.0.
With 3.1 you'll have SEM components if you had installed SEM earlier. You can upgrade SEM separately in this case. Check the release notes to make sure that it dosen't require any upgrade or patch upgrades to your existing BW components.
For your BCS implementation, check what functionality you need, because most of the functionality that BCS projects use are available with BW 3.5 and SEM 4.0. So chances are that even f just upgrade SEM to ver 4.0 you might still have to upgrade your BW to ver 3.5 in order to utilize the full functionality.
You can search this forum for links on the upgrade and comparisions. Other good sources will be the release notes for upgrades on the SAP site.
    Cheers,
    Kedar

I just have a small connect about the CP, any reason you are keeping in on the DB node rather than the application tier (Node 1)? Rather than having the application tier filesystem on two nodes, it would be easier to move the CP to Node 1 and have one application tier file system node (assuming you have sufficient resources).

  • ECC 6.0 Upgrade & changes required in programs

In case of a version upgrade to ECC 6.0, the programs would need to be changed. Some changes in the programs would be required to meet unicode compliance, while some changes would be required due to version upgrade (constructs becoming obsolete, etc). I guess the unicode related issues could be found by using the UCCHECK transaction and then resolved by making changes and again checking using this transaction, but is there some way to find out what issues would arise due to version upgrade? (The programs work fine in the lower version which is 4.6c). One way would be to actually check the programs in runtime and then handling the issues faced. But if we don't want to test all the programs, then is there some tool, or any best practice which would minimize the chance of having issues in the programs (and might be in help in solving the issues)?

SAMT is a transaction that will allow you to create sets for syntax check. We generally do it for Z* and Y* objects if the count does not exceed 3000.
Batch objects are the BDCs and Conversions as explained by Hema. Earlier upgrades had more than 80% of these objects failing becuase the screens may have changed or the screen fields may be missing, screen flow changed ... But now it has reduced especially from 46c to Ecc6 upgrade. However it still warrants testing them thoroughly.
Clones are copies of standard SAP objects in Z space and modified. These objects generally tend to have standard includes within them or the program definition may still have the original SAP name. It is tricky to find all of them but simple rules like matching name strings (eg SAPMV45A -> ZAPMV45A or Z_SAPMV45A) would help. It may vary from customer to customer depending on their naming standards.
Standard function modules used in the program can be easily found out using SCAN command in ABAP (see my example for SCAN in code snippets). Use the list of function modules identified and pass to the program below to see if their interfaces have changed. Test all objects affected by changed interfaces.

  • [SOLVED] Cannot upgrade klibc-*: requires klibc-i5oq3Jxz3fJL...

Hello. I'm getting errors while trying to do a system upgrade. I'm running Arch64:

I started getting these errors yesterday. I figured that I screwed something up and so I re-installed Arch (was wanting to start from scratch anyway, so no big deal there). I used the FTP ISO if it makes any difference.
    Here are my repositories:

Here are the packages that I've installed since initial installation:
    [2009-05-08 00:08] installed v86d (0.1.9-2)
    [2009-05-08 00:13] upgraded v86d (0.1.9-2 -> 0.1.9-2)
    [2009-05-08 00:19] installed libdaemon (0.13-1)
    [2009-05-08 00:19] installed ifplugd (0.28-4)
    [2009-05-08 00:21] synchronizing package lists
[2009-05-08 00:21] starting full system upgrade
    [2009-05-08 00:31] installed alsa-lib (1.0.19-1)
    [2009-05-08 00:31] installed alsa-utils (1.0.19-1)
Please note that the v86d package also seems to be affected by this, since it doesn't work even though I've properly configured it and doing pacman -S klibc outputs nearly the same thing as above, but with v86d at the bottom:
    # pacman -S klibc
warning: klibc-1.5.15-1 is up to date -- reinstalling

    Thanks!

That confirms that the packages affected are the klibc's and v86d. What's going on here?

It would be nice to know why this was happening, so comments are still welcome on this matter.
    EDIT4:
Ran into problems again. Please see this thread for details as it relates to what I did here.
    EDIT5:
Nevermind, I fixed it. Click above link for details -- it was simple...

I'm sorry to say, I don't think so, or I just don't know how. I've been using yaourt to do system updates for six months now. the only packages I don't compile with yaourt are firefox and xulrunner. And it was my impression yaourt pulled the package build from abs. My mirror in /etc/pacman.d/mirrolist is the archlinux.org one.
My output from my failed -Syu update was as follows.
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
    :: klibc-extras: requires klibc-4_F00PT-JGwQxhemX9BVmkCpL-U
    :: klibc-kbd: requires klibc-4_F00PT-JGwQxhemX9BVmkCpL-U

    :: klibc-udev: requires klibc-4_F00PT-JGwQxhemX9BVmkCpL-U
Thus far i've been unable to recreate the problem.... I find it odd that within a week of each other, two people have the same problem
if I can recreate it, i'll see about getting more details.

  • I am having trouble restoring music and podcasts to my iPhone after a system upgrade that required a restore to factory settings? All I can access is purchased music.

When I upgraded to OS 6 I had to restore my iPhone 4 to factory settings and now only have access to my purchased music and only some podcasts.  Lost my playlists and most podcasts and can't figure out how to retrieve them from a old iTunes library on windows especially with the new podcasts app...podcasts no longer appear in iTunes.   Is there a way to fix this?

Its not a matter of Safari "supporting this site". Its a lack of testing on United's part that its site is compatible across all platforms. They have introduced code, script or markup that isn't fully compatible. You can try downloading Chrome or an alternate browser as a work around for now. But it is United's job to fix its site. My guess is that enough complaints will come in and they will do so, but this is an airline we are talking about.
