A client gets this error:
Pick list date must be between order date and cancellation date Message[173-89]
The date is between that range.
What else could be the reason for it.

Since the message you received is very user friendly - date must be between....
I guess you have two situation
1.Either operation is incorrect
- Create a similar scenario in your test environment
-Are you receiving same error
-Test with only one item so far
-Check what is the result
2 . You probably need to upgrade your patch level
It might be coming from Application error

The bolded section is the section of the formula highlighted in Crystal. I've determined if the user enters 11/9999 as the end date instead of 12/9999 the report runs fine. Is this a problem with the formula or a limitation in Crystal or little of both? I don't understand what the formula is doing but at the end of the year it looks like it counts forward to January and then back to December and obviously 9999 is the highest year possible so the attempt to go a month ahead tanks. Is there a change I can make in the formula to avoid this error?The error lies in the formula.

When you enter 12/9999 it adds 1 to the month of 12 giving it 13.

This calculates the last day of the month. Since from above the variable nNextMonth is 13, it tries to calculate 9999, 13, 1-1 which is invalid since there is no 13th month in any year.

The requirement is System shall issue a message if TECO date is before the Permit issue date.

What you can do is use a User Exit: IWO10004 Maintenance order: Customer check for order completionand check that the reference date of completion, also you would need the approval date for the assigned permits in Order by using the table "IHSG" or a relevant function module to get the details of the Permit approval date. After you have the permit approval date, you can compare it with the reference date of completion and if mismatched then generate the relevant error message.

Replication between 130 nodes and 1 Data Center
Hi everyone.
I have 130 database nodes (Oracle Standard Edition One) with a big distance of separation, and 1 Data Center with 3 nodes (Oracle Real Application Cluster 10g R2). The connection between nodes and datacenter is through various ISP ( WAN).
I have exactly the same model design of database in nodes and datacenter.
DataCenter is a repository of data for reporting to directors and dictate the business rules to guide all nodes.
Each node have approximately 15 machines connected with desktop application.
In other words Desktop Application with a Backend Database (node).
My idea of replication is not instantly, when a transaction commit in a node then replicate to datacenter. Also over nigth replicate images because is heavy, approximately 1 mg per image. Each image correspond to one transaction.
On the orher hand i have to replicate some data from datacenter to nodes, business rule, for example: new company names, new persons, new prohibitions, etc.
My problem is to determine th best way to replicate data through nodes to datacenter.
Please somebody could suggest me the best solution.

If a given table will only ever be modified on nodes or on the master site, never both, you can build everything as read-only materialized views. This would probably require, though, that the server at the data center have 130 copies of each table, 1 per node. For schemas of any size, this obviously gets complicated very quickly. For asynchronous replcation to work, you'd need to schedule periodic refreshes, which assumes that you have relatively stable internet connections between the nodes and the data center.
I guess I would tend to question the utility of having so many nodes. Is it really necessary to have so many? Or could you just beef up the master and have everyone connect directly?

How the prodution order start and finis dates are changeing...?
Dear friends,
It was observed that one of my client's production order start and finish dates are changing frequently.
No user is claiming the responsibility, I feel very dificult to to find out who did the changes.
When I observed, it is happening for orders if we Revert the Teco, and that to for those orders which doesn't have the sale order assignment.
and some times it is not happenign for even for the orders which does not have the sale order assignment also.
Here it is having Forward type Sheduling.
Please help me how and when , the prodcuction orders start and finish dates will get changed.Dear RS,

Whats a good way switch between a real and mock data service?
I have a new Flex application...and am contemplating the use of the Mate mock remote object capability.
However, I'd like the application to be able to switch back and forth between a real and mock data service without recompilation. And without loading the mock service objects unless they are needed.
Whats a good way to handle this switching without recompiling the application?The only way I can think of not having ANY mock services in the production code is to take them out manually. Your program for mocking purposes is going to have to be able to know where these services/object are and how to contact them. I'm sure if it had to be done , you could use some mass of modules and event maps.

My requirement is like this: .... i have to list out all the open orders for a particular date, for example today.
For this i need to display sales orders with any status as well as invoiced and cancelled orders which fall under that particular date.

Error 13641 - The Subnet prefix must be between the starting and ending values
Hi All,
I can honestly say hand on heart that this is the first time I have ever asked for help in a forum in over 15 years but this is doing my head in..
I have a Sys Center 2012 R2 deployment.. VMM R2 up to RU3, Edge Cluster (2 hosts), Management Cluster (2 hosts), 2 x Production Compute Clusters (total of 20 hosts). I have a HA Network Virt Gateway deployed on the edge cluster.
All Hosts have the new DHCP install done and the RU3 SQL patch is completed as outlined in deployment manual.
Everything had been running fine for some time after RU3 update... I am experiencing an issue whereby I get the following error anytime I try and attach a NVGRE VM network to a VM, or when I try and migrate a VM with a NVGRE network attached to another
host.
Error (13641)
The specified subnet prefix must be between the starting and ending values for the range.
Starting value: 4
Ending value: 30
Recommended Action
Specify a suitable subnet prefix.
All subnets in the entire network are /24's so prefix isn't an issue.
I can successfully attach a standard vm network but get the above error when working with NVRGE networks..
Further to this, if I restart VMM the DHCP function to VM's with NVGRE networks doesn't get picked up until I trigger a change in config on the VM, then it will get IP and function as expected.
I have checked all logs, there aren't any errors that I can see.
get-netvirtualizationlookuprecord throws out VM's and PA's as expected, but again not until I manually interfere with the VM in question.
Have any of you come across this before?? I want to check before I go rebuilding the PA network entirely and having to cleanup all existing VM networks to do it..
Any help or guidance would be appreciated..

NathanI have seen this message before, "specify a suitable subnet prefix".
In my case, the NVGRE policies were out of sync due to HW issues on several hosts.
Here's some steps in order to troubleshoot/fix:
run the following cmdlet: Get-SCVMHost | Read-SCVMhost -RunAsynchronously
Check for any errors in the job log that refers to "Network Virtualization".
If this doesn't help, a recycle of the VMM Management server should do a "hard refresh" of the NVGRE policies, and it might include a reboot of the nvgre hosts too.
This solved the case in my situation.

Can any one help me to know why I am getting this error message.
Here I am giving the steps carried out.
Step1. Using transaction code: FB60 I have posted a vendor invoice to a Machinery account GL account against a internal order.
Step2. A down payment using transaction code FBA7. using a special indicator M to a bank account.
Step3. When I am trying to clear the open item (by selecting above both documents) for the vendor using transaction F-44 system is giving an error message u201CThere is a mismatch between order type and GL accountu201D. System is prompting to correct the down payment entry, where I dint use any Cost centre, internal order.
Checked the Internal order profile, AUC settlement profile etc and no able to find an error message.
Can any one explain me why this error is coming and what need to be check in order to rectify it.

RS.Hi It looks that the field status of the Order Type and GL Account field status is being mistmatching with each other. You can check the field status group given on GL Account and the fields status in Order Type.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Can any1 tell me wats the actual difference between ordered by and sorted by???Generally speaking, when talking math, one talks about an "ordering" in some set of values. Usually one doesn't actually place them in order; the order is already there, implicit in the values. When talking computer science, one talks about "sorting" because the values may be in a sequence which violates the desired order, and you have to sort the sequence to match the order. "Sorting" isn't as relevant in math because there is no sense of the items being out of sequence when the order is established.
So "order" describes the ideal (which mathematicians care about).
"Sort" describes the practical, the activity needed to make the real match the ideal (which computer sciences care about).
That's my intuitive feeling on it, anyway. -

Not sure exactly what you are going for...
You're aware you need to use iTunes to sync apps between your iPhone and Mac unless you are running V10.7.2 and have iCloud setup.
BTW... apps that are optimized for an iPhone will not run on the Mac OS X and vice versai, two different operating systems.
