Pictures on web pages do not show up in Firefox

I've created several iWeb pages with images and movies. I have an uncle who lives 1700 miles away who has an older iMac running Panther 10.3.9 and he is using Safari (apparently Panther cannot run the latest version 3 - he's either running version 2 or 1, whichever newest version Panther can support) - his iMac is a 700 mhz G3 model from 2001.
He cannot see any images in any pages I have created. No movies either. He has Verizon fios as his internet connection - very fast and robust - but I wonder if his system is too old to handle a lot of sites such as iWeb created sites.
I also have discovered that Firefox cannot display the images at all either!
Anyone know of these limitations?

Pictures have always been visible in Safari version 3 and, yes, they are JPEG.
I noticed that Firefox 3 cannot display the pictures but Firefox 2 does.
Same results with older versions of Safari (no pictures)
So the problem browsers so far are Firefox version 3 (beta) and Safari version 1.
I'll have to try Seamonkey, Camino, Opera, etc. to see what Safari 3 and Firefox 2 have that the others don't. Could it be a Java thing?

Pics from individual web pages are not showing on summary page

I've just started trying out iWeb '09. On the Blog summary page, it shows the excerpt from the actual page, but the picture from the actual entry page doesn't show. Shouldn't it show, too? The Media placeholder box pops up when I hover over that text summary, and photos/original are checked, but no photo comes in on the summary page. Does the photo on the actual web entry page have to be in some particular format or positioning? Confused.

In each blog entry, there's a placeholder for this image. You mustn't delete the default image inside, if this placeholder will disappear too. You must drag and drop your image from your finder to this placeholder, the image inside will change.

The icons and boxes around the icons of web pages are not showing

Imagine when looking at the Mozilla "enter your username and password page" all you see is text but no boxes around the fields. Well...that is what I see. I see "Enter your username" but next to it is no boxes around the field to enter the username. I have to click around to see where I can type in the box.
Other pages like the Office 360 email page used to show little curved arrow buttons like "reply" and "reply all" and "Delete" with a red X but now just greyish looking pages. I tried resetting FF to default.

hello, the behaviour you have described might be the case when you have enabled a high contrast theme in your windows control panel - please switch to another theme...

Web page is not fully displayed in FireFox, but Chrome

Recently, I have made some changes to my company website, actually just the images of our team. 
The size of the image before is 130x130 but we changed it to 127x170. 
Everything worked good on localhost but then I uploaded it to the server. I tested the site on Google Chrome first (everything worked nicely) but FireFox didn't show up all the team images as the last line are cropped. 
You can have a look at "http://www.webnam.net.vn (Section About->Team). (Make sure you view it on Chrome & Firefox to see the differences here, which I want to say). 
I haven't changed anything on CSS (just HTML with some <li> changes).

Looks the same for me in Firefox and Google Chrome on Linux.
Note that Firefox has the habit of using cached versions of files and may not always retrieve the current version from the server, so you need to refresh those files.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

A web wiget using java acript in my web site does not show up with Firefox but does with ie; how can I fix it?

I have inserted a java script web wiget on my web site by copy and paste. It works fine in IE (shows, updates data etc). In FFox it does not even show up and no error messages are given. If I look at the code in FFox, it is shown. Is there a problem with my web site or am I short something in FFox?

2013 Custom Web Parts in Page Layouts not showing for users

Custom Web Parts in Page Layouts not showing for users
I have created a master page in the root site collection for a subsite I am developing. I created content types and custom page layouts for the pages within the subsite.
I used the snippet tool in the design manager to create web parts and page field markup which I copied into the custom layout HTML pages in the root site collection. For instance I have an image viewer web part that I place there to serve as a section title.
The problem is that I can see all these customer layout page parts no problem but my users cannot. This leads me to believe its permissions, I am site owner of both the subsite and root site collection.
The users that cannot see the web parts are site members of the site and restricted read users on the root site collection (where the layouts are stored).
What gives I'm finding it hard to understand why a snipet generated web part wouldn't show in all pages created from that layout page.
Any help would be appreciated, Havent found anything on this issue online. weird.

It is a permission issue indeed. Fix is simple, make sure you check out the page layout page, then check it back in as published version.

Input value given on web page is not getting pickedup in event handler

I have created one simple page in SE80 with program with flow logic option, in which I would like to show business partner details from BUT000 table with the input of partner number. But the thing is the input value(partner no.)which I am giving on web page is not getting picked up in selection in event handler though I am giving input value it is becoming initial while selecting. What could be the reason?
Below I am mentioning the code which I have written in even handler for OnInputProcessing event.

I'm developing a web site using MVC3 & Razor, but my css changes do not show up on FireFox, but do on Chrome & Internet Explorer - How can I get Razor to render correctly on FireFox?

I don't have a public version as I'm just staring development.
For an example I have completed the walk-thru at [http://www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials/getting-started-with-ef-using-mvc/updating-related-data-with-the-entity-framework-in-an-asp-net-mvc-application]. Then I tried changing minor items in site.css (such as font size) and the changes did not show up on FireFox, but do show up on Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Example of change below: I changed the background from #e8eef4 to #ff0000. The table header background shows up in red for chrome & IE, but stay in light blue for FireFox.

The Counter on Welcome page is not showing up. How to find it?

Bottomest line is: My first Welcome page is not showing the Counter. I put a counter on it and nothing shows. I tried disassembling the page by lifting layers, and maybe I did it incorrectly, but I cannot find the errant Counter.
I tried going to the menu and de-selecting the Counter and then selecting it again, but that did not fool iWeb. It did not put a second Counter on my Welcome page because it knows that Lorna already put one there and it does not care that to the average non-Superman eye, it is invisible.
QUESTION:
How do I find that invisible Counter? What must I do, or do better?

Yes, that is the welcome page: the pink flower. What page source? How do you see a page source? Anyhow, I went to the Welcome page in iWeb and moved the pink flower picture to the side and out of the window. I see nothing! No Counter and no picture covering a Counter. The only picture I see is my pink flower picture.
It is probably still counting, but you won't be able
to see it. If you remove your picture (or make it
smaller) and republish you will see it.

But I have moved the pink flower picture away and have cleared the field and see nothing. I did not make the picture smaller; if I can just push it out of the way, why would I need to make it smaller? (I suspect I am missing something here.)

Web gallery images not showing in Firefox

I have just created a web gallery in Adobe Bridge CS4. I had it working perfectly in all browsers and now all of a sudden the images are not showing up in Firefox. Anyone else have this problem?

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.
*Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the hidden Menu bar.
Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.
Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Edit > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

The web site of Adobe does not show correctly in FireFox

I have a bizarre problem. The site of Adobe (including where I can download the flash player) does not show correctly in FireFox and I only see it as a text HTML page, but without most images (typically, for instance, I do not see the image "Download now" but see a text line "Dowload now", and so on...
This seems to specifically affect the Adobe web site as I have no problme for other web sites (so far).
It is something specific to FireFox as I do have the problem with Internet Explorer.
The problem persis even if I restart FireFox without any add-on (safe mode).
Any suggestion ?

Does this only happen in Firefox? What do you see with Internet Explorer or Chrome? If it is only Firefox, I'd try these steps in this order:
1. Clear your cookies and cache
2. Reset your Firefox settings
3. Make a new profile

A good example would be a visit to a news article in google. mu colors are set to res for visited sites - it does not happen, in fact nothing changes

Google is using a visited color (#551a8b) that is hardly distinguishable from the unvisited color (#2200cc), so may not notice it.
* Make sure that you not run Firefox in (permanent) [[Private Browsing]] mode
* You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
* To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
* Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"
You can look at these prefs on the about:config page to make sure that you keep history.

Safari is repeatedly crashing and web pages are not responding

So, my safari is constantly freezing (the spinning wheel of death shows up) and then I'm told that the web-pages are not responding and I need to force reload them all. And this can repeat a number of times; a full system re-start is the only fix.
Any fixes, solutions would be appreciated.
I'm using Safari 5.1.9; and Mac OS X 10.6.8

MIght be third party plugins causing Safari to freeze.
Try the troubleshooting help here > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
And see if you can do this before Safari freezes.
Launch Safari and immediately press Command , (comma) to open the Safari Preferences pane then select the Extentions tab.
If there are any extensions installed, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If Safari doesn't freeze, uninstall one extension at a time, quit and relaunch Safari to test again.
