Pin-to-Pin I/O

Is the pin-to-pin I/O of the 777384-01 identical to the AT-MIO-16E-2 and if not what differs?

Hello:
The 777384-01 is the PCI-6030E (aka the PCI-MIO-16XE-10). Both the AT-MIO-16E-2 and the PCI-6030E are 8/16 ch. E-Series boards and they both share the exact same 68-pin connector and pinout. If you need to look at the pinout, the User Manual for either board will have it in the "Conenctions" section.
Good Luck!
Sincerely,

  • What are the advantages to using Pin to Pin and BBM?

I haven't used BBM yet, but have been composing and sending messages Pin-to-Pin (peer-to-peer). Is that the same thing as using the BBM and what are the advantages of each? Are they better than just texting?  Would appreciate an explanation, because I'm confused!  Thanks!!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

BBM and PIN messages are messages sent from one BlackBerry to another.  The message is composed by the sender and goes through RIM's secure server before being delivered to the recipient.  They are only available to BlackBerry users.
The thing I like about them is how you can see if they've been received by the recipient.  Once the message reaches the recipient's phone, you'll notice a small 'D' at the start of your message.  This means it's been delivered.  When the recipient opens the message, that 'D' will switch to an 'R', for 'read'.  So now you know that it's actually been received by the recipient.
One more great thing about these messages is that there is no limit to length.  As you're probably aware, most carriers limit text messages to 160 characters; not so with these messages, they can be much longer.
BBM and PIN messages are the same type of message, but with PIN messages you're limited to just that one contact receiving it.  With BBM, you can have many contacts in on a chat or you can broadcast a message to many contacts at once.
I hope that explains things for you.

I know Verizon has coverage in Carnival, will I have any charge using Pin to Pin (bb to bb) messenger?,,of course for that I need a network,,for data service,,is there any charge from Verizon? using BB messenger?

No, PIN messaging is data, plain and simple. If you're paying for data on the cruise ship, it's the same as any other data.

  • Setting up LaCie, my 1st, can't quite figure pin-to-pins and ports

    _Hey Folks,
Does anyone know exactly what pin-to-pin configuration works between a LaCie BigGer Disk, 500 GB, and my iMac 20" ?? The last 4 months learning has been exponential DailY , but here i can't quite tell from LaCie's views of connecters, OR enter the right terms in Mac help.
. . . . LaCie, of course, provides one w/ every possible cable, but i'm stuck here and waiting to get to all the brain wrinkles i'm gonna burn-in once i get into partitioning and such. --- guess i'll finally go get some eats while someone wise takes pity !
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

    Hi, D.
Use a standard FireWIre 400 or FireWire 800 cable, depending on which type of FireWire ports your Mac has and the type of FireWire connections supported by the FireWire drive.
You've not stated which specific iMac 20" you have, i.e. PPC or Intel-based (you should add this to your profile) but the ports can be found by looking in the hardcopy manual that came with your Mac, or by looking at the appropriate document from the following list:
    • "iMac (Early 2006): External ports and connectors." See ports labeled 6 in the illustration.
    • "iMac G5: External ports and connectors."
    • iMac G5 (iSight): External Ports and Connectors."
FYI: looks like all the recent iMacs have FireWire 400 ports.
    Good luck!

  • PIN TO PIN Messager over BB Messenger - ENCRYPT

I read this forum before post because i have not fully cleared idea
Basically i want to sent PIN to PIN messages between me and one or two contacts (using BIS), and i want to FORCE encrypt those messages (not scramble) really encrypt and i have no money to install a BES server for 2 / 3 people, so my question is how to do that.
I was reading forums and google and the most reliable solutions (after BES) that i saw was: from this company http://www.atomichelix.com/downloads.html#bbpgp , question is anyone tested? Can it really work? Somebody knows a alternative solution?

  • Need 50-pin connector pin assignment list for valuemotion NuDrive 4SX-411

    Hi,
I need a copy of the 50-pin connector pin assignment list for the valuemotion NuDrive 4SX-411.   I have the 321942B-01 User Guide document, but it does not contain the pin assignement list.   I can't find the information on NI's website.
    David Geminden

You can find the pin assignment in the user manual of the PCI-7314/7324 ValueMotion controller. On page 38 in this document there is the 50 pin assignement of these boards, that is compatible to your NuDrive. Please note that this is the pin assignment from the controller's point of view.
    I hope this helps,

  • Xc7z015clg485 and xc7z030sbg485, how to design the schematic to make them pin to pin compatible

    Hi all,
I have a schematic design case about pin to pin compatiblity with xc7z015clg485 and xc7z030sbg485. I compared xc7z015clg485pkg.txt and xc7z030sbg485pkg.txt. And found something different as below:
        1) 010 no HP bank, 030 have HP banks. In 010, H8    IO_0_34; In 030, H8    IO_0_VRN_34; In 010, R8    IO_25_34; In 030, R8    IO_25_VRP_34. So I assigned ddr3 pins to bank34 and bank35, and pulldown H8, pullup R8.
        2) In 010, V7 NC; In 030, V7 MGTAVTTRCAL_112; In 010, W3 NC; In 030, W3 MGTVCCAUX. 010 only have GTP, 030 only have GTX. So I followed the GTX rule to assign CML pins and power pins. That is to say, supplied V7 with 1.2V, and W3 with 1.8V. (to V7 and  W3 with preserved 0 ohm resistors)
        3) The PS pins of 010 are fully compatible with 030's ? (I assigned PL pins only with 030 pins definition)
Is there something wrong with my above 3 schematic compatible designs ? Or others I had not considered.  Any question, could you please email to [email protected] or call me directly +86-134-0532-1640 ? Thank you for your help and attention!

Yeah, I've read the official Toshiba statement on this. It is, to be frank, utter bulls**t.
Almost all socket M processors have thermal characteristics within a few degrees of each other, a cooling system designed for one of them will cool all of them just as well. Certainly one that is designed to cool a hotter CPU should be able to cope with a cooler one - as I said the Thermal Design Power of a T2300 is 2 degrees +lower+ than that of the T7200 the laptop shipped with. It is also an older chip, so there is no real excuse for the bios not being programmed to recognise it and cool it appropriately.
That statement should read like this:
"We have made sure that our laptops only work with the specific processor they ship with. This is to preclude you increasing the performance of the laptop yourself. If you want a faster laptop we want to force you to buy a whole new one from us instead of just getting a better chip and fitting it using simple tools."
In my case I'm actually putting a slower chip into the laptop but it won't work for the same reason: Toshiba have +deliberately+ crippled any upgrade/downgrade paths. Toshiba have tools to change the bios so it recognises the installed chip and runs the fan appropriately, but apparently they won't share them (see "real reason" above) - I'm hoping that somebody out there also has the tools and +is+ willing to share them.

  • Anyway to get 4-pin - 8-pin SSI adapter (for K8N-Master2)

I have a 550W Yesico Fanless PSU (with +12VDC/18A rail), and it lacks the 8-pin SSI connector which is used on the board as PWR2 connector. Is there a 4-pin -> 8-pin adapter available in somewhere?
At the moment I have used a two 4-pin connectors, one standard and one carved with a knife to match the holes on the connector (works fine, it just your standard +12V). And atleast at my setup, I need to hook up all three PWR connectors + PCI-E graphics connector just to power it up. (2*DP240 + GTX7800).

Quote from: fafner on 17-November-05, 01:37:16
Yes any big computer store should have the adaptor you need.  I have one in one of my systems.
Ok,  have to check out few places then. I haven't seen any on those places I usually shop with. And if anyone knows a place in Finland where to get one, I'd appreciate that.
And for the other suggestions. Do not worry, the PSU has several +12V rails, it has -5V and all the sounds are fine =)

  • VGA, DVI, 18-pin, 30-pin???

I'm sorry. I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I'm sure this issue has been dealt with somewhere in past forums but I have just wasted an hour trying to locate this info from other sources and failed. Please bear with me:
I just received delivery of a new Viewsonic monitor to use as my second monitor. No sweat, I figured. My G5 is all ready to receive it. I even have an adapter that came with my G5 so I can handle anything Viewsonic sends my way right?
    No. Not right.
The monitor came with two cables. One is the same 18-pin connector (9x9) that my current monitor is using (is this a DVI?). The other is a small 15-pin job (VGA? Mini-DVI?). Problem is the second monitor port on my G5 is some wide 30-pin thing that nothing I possess fits! I even checked the G5 manual and the diagram of the rear panel indicates two identical 18-pin ports like the one already in use. It's like someone screwed up when hey were putting this machine together a year and a half ago and put the wrong second display port.
Can anyone explain what I'm up against here? I was at the Viewsonic site but without knowing what these different connectors are called I don't know what to look for in the way of adapters.
Please help. I want to use my new monitor!

    G5 2.5 | 3.5 GbRAM   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

ADC in need of an adapter--a rather pricey one at
    that depending on the vendor.
It should be about $30.00. If it's near $100.00 it's the wrong adapter.
Now what really bugs me is that I went to the G5
manual and the diagram clearly states that the two
monitor ports are supposed to be DVI. What gives with
    that anyway?
It depends on the G5 and which graphics card. Some do have two DVI ports.
The other problematic issue--and one that took up
much of the time--was determining I was buying the
right thing. Most product descriptions referred to
the G4 and the G4 Cube as being the models in need of
this adapter. I figured screw it though. I went ahead
and ordered one. Oh well. We'll see. I'm hoping an
ADC port is an ADC port.
There is only one kind of ADC port, but there are three adapters:
ADC to DVI (ADC computer to DVI-D digital display) ~ $30
ADC to VGA (ADC computer to analog display input) ~ $30
DVI to ADC (DVI computer to digital ADC display, not CRT) ~ $100

I already stated you could use a 3rd party repair site, try http://www.iresq.com or if you want to do it yourself try http://www.ifixit.com. Or look for a local 3rd party repair site. Apple only does the replacement they do not repair dock connectors.

  • Unable to set PIN - Error: "PIN must not be the same as the user's phone number"

We are in an ongoing Lync Server 2013 deployment and have elected to set default conference PIN numbers for anyone that doesn't have them currently set.  We decided to make the default PIN the same as the person's telephone extension.  I realize
this is not a secure PIN setting, but please bear with me.
When I use PowerShell to loop through the people that do not have a PIN set and attempt to set the PIN to their five-digit extension, PowerShell returns the following exception:
Set-CsClientPin : PIN must not be the same as the user's phone number (Error "18005").

I know what you are thinking:  by default, Lync has the AllowCommonPatterns setting set to $false on the Global (default) PIN policy.  But I have created another PIN policy called "Low-restriction PIN Policy" that has this setting set
to $true and assigned this new policy to the users I am trying to set the PIN on.
    According to
Microsoft's documentation on the Set-CsClientPin cmdlet, the description for AllowCommonPatterns is as follows:
"Indicates whether or not "common patterns" are allowed in PINs.
Common patterns include repeating digits (225577); 4 or more consecutive digits (991234); and
PINs that match a user's phone number or extension number.
If set to True common patterns (such as the PIN 123456, which includes consecutive digits)
are allowed; if set to False common patterns are not allowed. The default value is False."
Given this information, I do not understand why Lync Server 2013 is preventing me from setting a default PIN that matches their extension number when AllowCommonPatterns is set to $true on the PIN policy assigned to the user.
Any ideas on what might be wrong?

  • I am trying to acquire pulse signal (TTL 0 ,+5v) using parallel port (SPP 25 pins) on pin 12.

The state register adress is 379h. When I run continuously this VI, the value diplays 78 and 58 periodycally.
I think that 0 correponds to 58 and +5v correponds 78. Is this correct ?
    So my questions are:
    1) How can I do to read only pin 12.
    2) How can I do to display graph of a pulse signal (TTL 0 +5v) from value.
I attached the I am using.
    Thank you in advance.

pin 12 is bit 5(32 decimal) of the byte you read from port 379h. So actually 58 is +5V and 78 is 0V.
    in C:
    if(32 & data){
    /* pin 12 is high (+5V) */
    } else {
    /* pin 12 is low (0V) */
graphing depends on your programming language and tools available.
If your signal is slow enough, and you don't need very good accuarcy, use a software timer and get a measurement every x mS
