Planned values in report painter

Hello,
Does anybody knows if it is possible to extract planned values (planned through transaction code FSE5N) into a report built through report painter tool?
My report is comming out with "0" values even though I have selected plan version and Plan/Act. indicator.
Appreciate any help!

    Hi All,
I am creating a report  painter report for Plan/Actual values using  library 0FL.In my characteristic value column I included fiscal year as a  value and  hard coded the fiscal year so i dont need this parameter in my selction screen. When I execute the report the fiscal year is coming in the selection twice.i.e:
    Fiscal Year
    Fiscal  Year
    Company Code
    Period
    From Profit Center
    To Profit Center
How do I wipe out this fiscal year from my selection screen? In GRR2 -> EDIT--> General data selection , I only have  profit center values.I dont  know why this fiscal year is coming up as a selction parameter when I hard coded in the column.Any help. Thanks

    HI Shaun
In GRR2, Against the char, there is a check box where in you specify to treat it as a variable.. DId you check that box? Unless you check that, it wont appear in the selection screen

  • Carry Farward value in Report Painter

    Hi Gurus,
I am using FAGLFLEXT table for some of the report painter reports.
I wanted to have a report, where the Balance carry forward value should be shown.
The trasaction type is always RFBU. How to include the c/f values...
Which Charateristics I should use to include these values...
    regards
    Saba

    hi..
Goto GRR3 > click on Lib 1VK it will show you all the report in 1VK library > select your report & double click on it
It will display the report format. Then go to Edit at the top. you will find General data selection.click on it you will find available characteristics. Then goto GRR2 for making any change/selection for Fiscal year char
If your report is a standard one you can not change. then copy the report from GRR1 and make the changes.
You can also see the char in GR23 by selecting 1VK lib.

  • Question on Values from Report Painter

    Hi All
I have defined a report painter report using the Library 0FL allowing the dril down functionality.
however, when i drill down on a certain figure, the amount showin on the report is not in sync with the total I get when i drill down..
Can anyone suggest to me why this is happening and how i can get the 2 figures to match?
    Thank you
    Rukshana

    Hellio Rukshana,
I would suggest you to please check the SAP Note 1317478 (Report Writer: Drilldown not handled properly).
In case the problem is not solved, please execute first the report RFFMRC20 and later report RFFMRC04 and reconstruct data.
Here it is important that you execute these programs only for the earmarked fund that you are having the issue. Execute it in one test system in test run first and look for results.
RFFMRC04  program analyzes differences between line items and totals records in Funds Management.
If you start the program as an update run, it automatically adjusts the relevant totals records.
Ensure that no postings are made while the program is running as this may lead to errors being displayed where none has occurred. If the program finds FM account assignments where the line item total is not the same as the relevant totals record, these lines are marked in red. The system displays the amount total (totals record), line item total, and amount type for each line.
Please check the documentation of this program in SE38 for more information.
    I hope this helps.
Kindly let me know if you are talking about some other drill down fucntionality other than the above.
    Thank you.

  • Inavalid Values from Report Painter

    Hello,
I want to know if that anyone faced this following problem:
    - Executing FC10 from period 1 to 16 I have X $ (and there are correct), but if I choose one report Z (from fsi*), I have the correct value, but just for period 1 to 12, if I extract the report from period 1 to 16, I have invalid values for a determinate accounts. Does anyone know how to correct that?
    Regards,
    P.

    Hi Goutan,
    Thanks for your reply.
I have already verified that and the periods are set up right..

  • Drill down value not matching with Displayed Report Painter Issue-GR55

    Hi,
Need your help for an issue in drill down value of report painter from actual cost coloumn.
I have created a new report group based on OSS Note-157720 in GR55 Traction. This new report group will provide data of Planed / Actual cost, Planned / Actual Quantity of the project in range of fiscal year/periods. The issue in this report is displayed data of actual cost is not matching with drill down data. The actual cost coloumn is formula coloumn which framed by subtracting All periods cost coloumn, Before Periods Cost Coloumn and After periods cost coloumn.
Could you suggest on this issue.
    Thank you for your cooperation.
    Regards,
    Rakesh

The report you are running first might have been created with some hidden columns that contain more than one variables relating to period and fiscal year. These may not be matching those that are required to run the drilldown. Look into the definition of the drilldown report. If you would want to match the first report, It may be better to identify which report runs on drilldown and the run that report with the required parameters.

  • Report painter report with two header rows

    Experts,
I have managed the variable values in report painter but in display output i am unable to recognize the
value displayed for march / April is actual or planned
Please find attached screen shot for the same...
Is there any way to have both the information on header row?
    Thanks
    Sagar C'kar

    Hi Sagar...
Please change the short, medium and long text as you wish (please have all the description in the long text), by default system displays with the medium text, but no need to worry, when you keep the cursor on the head column of the text (where medium text is maintained), system displays with long text also. By this you can see the long text. This option we may use for adding additional text there, maintain some text at medium text and maintain additional text at long text option, so when you keep the cursor at head of the column with medium text, you see long text in addition.
If you want to have the long text instead of short or medium text make changes like this..
By this you make the text length at maximum i.e. 21 digits I suppose and then.....
By the above you select "long text" as default
    Regards..

  • Report painter adding details KOB2 and KOB1

How can I add the details of KOB2 (reference document number (refbn) and planned value in report currency (orgwtr) and the details of KOB1 in a report painter report?

    Hi,
KOB1/KOB2 are line items reports. Report painter, however, deals only with totals tables. Therefore, you cannot build a report with Report Painter tool putting their details of single document.

  • Planned values of profit centers not showing up in customised report painte

    Hi,
I made a customised profit center report via report painter.  I have already uploaded planned values in KP06.  In the customised report painter, the record type is "1" (plan) and version is "0" for actual/plan.  The columns for the planned values do not show any figures.  But when I generate std SAP report S_ALR_87013340 - Profit Center Group: Plan/Actual/Variance, it shows the plan values.  In that way, I know that the cost center upload is correct.
Please advise on how to show the plan values on the report painter.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Thess

    Hi,
ahhh...the fact that you can see the actual values has made me realize what the problem might be. GLPCP and GLPCA (actual line items) use different fields in regard to the period. I assume that you are utilizing the POPER characteristic to select the periods....correct?
In that case please try the following: copy library 8A3 into the customer name space (I would always base customized reports on your own library). In your copy activate the RPMAX characteristic. The re-create your report based on the new library and make the following changes: use RPMAX in the general selection and only use POPER in the column definition for the actual values. That should work.
    Regards
    Karl
P.S....hope you bear in mind that such a report is a potential performance nightmare.

  • Plan next yrs values not appearing in Report Painter

    Hi,
In our one of Z report (developed thrugh SAP std Report Painter functionality), Plan next yrs column does not shows any value in output of report.
Basically this column should show next years plan values for WBS Element cost elementwise.
When I double click on any of the cell of this column, I am getting output with 0 records but selection criteria is appearing as Period 7 and Fiscal year as 2999 on output screen on the top. So I am thinking that output is not appearing because of wrong selection criteria field values/characteristics values.
Just wanted to know from you all guys, what things should I check in Report Painter to resolve this issue? Also what are the causes of this issue?
Could you please tell me the remedial procedure and transaction code to resolve this kind of issue?

    Thanks for reply.
    Characteristics are:
    Value Type: ZCJUL01
    Value Type:10
    Version:6-VERP
    Period:  7
    Valuation:0
    Object ind.:1  to 5
    Object ind.:P
Fiscal Year: Z-GJHNJ Next Year  to 2999
I think it looks like wrong Period selection characteristics value.
Please suggest/guide what has to be done?
