Hi Gurus,
Planning web forms are not opening in EPM11..
What logs i need to check in these case, what should be the path of the logs.
Here i am accesing web forms on my local system through workspace web link
We have 2 essbase server and three application server..
PLease suggest...

In Windows the apth that u have maentioned there are two log files :
HyS9RaFrameworkAgentErr and HyS9RaFrameworkAgentOut
In application unix servr i tried at the following path :
/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/hyperion/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/diagnostics/logs/planning :
there are following files there :
calcmgrdeploy.log calcmgrexecution.log calcmgrlaunch.log

Any forms are not opening with error ORA-01403: no data found in R12

HI ,
Suddenly any of the form are not opening with following error.
FRM-40735: WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-04063.
Can any one help ?

I bounced the database and listner. Have application down.
After

Still I see 5012 apps object invalid.

Oracle Marketing online( Web pages are not opening)

Hello all,
I have got 11i installed on my machine. Application is running fine. I was trying my hand on Oracle marketing module and also CRM Administration modules.
I don't know what's going wrong the web pages are not opening ( Web page not found offline) error is appearing.
Infact all functions of Oracle Marketing Super user have they type selected as JSP.
I am unable to resolve this problem. Can some please help me.

Unfortunately appsweb.cfg file under $ORACLE_CONFIG_HOME/forms/server/ is deleted.Now forms are not open.
How can i re-create the appsweb.cfg file.

Forms are not opening if one of the 2-node 11gR2 DB instance is down

recently we have upgraded database from 2-node 10gR2 RAC to 2-node 11gR2 instance.
But, if one of the instance is down, the forms are not picking up the 2nd node and forms are not opening.
Can someone help me to fix this issue as its PROD.

Please send the output of below command, run this in your application node.

Your SID_BALANCE TNS-ENTRY should look like below on the application server. Below is just for example of 3 node rac. You should not edit tnsnames.ora file manually, if you configure your context file properly, autoconfig will generate properly.

Post upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 Forms are not opening

After upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3, When we click on any of the form link, forms are not opening.
No error detected in $LOG_HOME/logs/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/ folder.
Please help as we are stuck here.

2.i added one 0 in run Java parameters before it has value :5000000 ..now it is having value :50000000
3.in internetexplorer tools-->options i have deleted history,files& cookies..

Webi reports are not opening

Hi all,
Couple of weeks ago we had an issue that all the Webi reports were not opened for all the users. When we checked with the infrastructure team all process were running very slow. I thought this is due to there is only one CMS server installed on unix system? My question is this possible to create more than one cms server on the same machine? If possible what are the necessary things are need to have a second CMS server?

Hi Raj,
You can have multiple CMS servers in the same machine as long as you have multiple CPUs. Anyway, I will recommend to ad another server to the cluster.
To add another CMS, you need to go to the:
CMC > Servers > Manage (Menu) > New Server > Select "Core Services" - "Central Management Service".
You need to select a different port than the one you use for the first CMS.
However, you should check which one was the server that was consuming CPU when you had the issue to identify if it was due to WebI processing. It might be that a problematic WebI report was created or something unusual was happening in the system. If you have enabled auditing you can examine what was happening in the system at that time.

Forms are not opening

Hi,
I have created new database. System forms are not displayed and no error messages are displayed. Sapb1 client gets hanged after few minutes. Addons are running in task manager and their status also connected but Addons message and Forms are not displayed. I suspects there may be a UI problems or DI problems? Pls Try to resolve my problems as quick.

While trying to files from ZTE Open, I browsed to a web page with a file upload form. When I selected the file input, the input behaved as a text input and the on screen keyboard appeared.

We are working to make Firefox OS better. This feature is not currently available but will be available in future updates to the device.

Oracle Apps Forms are not Opening in Windows 8

I'm trying to access Oracle Apps in Windows 8 Environment. When I try to open any EBS form, every time it ask me to install J2SE Plugin version 1.6.0_07,
Below is the error message
In order to access this application, you must install the J2SE Plugin version 1.6.0_07. To install this plugin, click here to download the oaj2se.exe executable. Once the download is complete, double-click the oaj2se.exe file to install the plugin. You will be prompted to restart your browser when the installation is complete.
Please help me if anyone has come across such issues in Windows 8 environment.

troubleshooting Addons is somewhat complex.....as from this side we do not know which addon may be causing the problem, so the
only recourse is to disable the types of addons that commonly cause problems in IE (for security and usablility reasons some older addons that you may have used previously with IE8/XP are no longer compatible with newer versions of IE that you are now using)....
The following instructions will stop your Toolbar and Browser Helper addons from loading in IE.
Start>Control Panel>Internet Options>Advanced tab,
uncheck "enable third-party browser extensions".
close any open IE windows and restart IE for the changes to take effect.

I've got a user that suddenly gets an error on a planning web form. She opens the form and enters data but when she tries to submit gets the following error “This form contains unsaved data. Select OK to continue without saving data, or Cancel to discard operation” and then it takes her back to the blank form. This form worked for her yesterday but not today. She has tried shutting down hyperion, even rebooting her machine but no luck. Any ideas?

I am using Webutil for loading and uploading the files on local drive, it was running good through Oracle Application server on client side.
My Orcale Application Server Detail is given below: (Before Installing the Patch)

But I have install the patch on appllication server but after installing this patch those forms in which I have used webutl did not open and hang up the whole applixcation.

I have take the help form your post and also from this post that I have found it.
After upgrading OAS to the latest patch 3 ( 10.1.2.3 ) we ran into a problem while using WEBUTIL. When using a webutil component from within our forms application , an exception is Thrown in to the java console and nothing seems to happen in the Form itself.
The error message thrown :

This is due to the fact that the frmwebutil.jar used in a earlier version is not compiled against the new OAS 10.1.2.3 frmall.jar version. As a result this exception is thrown.
The solution to this is to extract the orginal complid “frmwebutil.jar” from the OAS 10.1.2.3 installation files and overwrite the frmwebutil.jar currently used. To extract the GOOD frmwebutil.jar browse threw the installation path towards this point “Disk1\stage\Patches\oracle.developer.forms.builder\10.1.2.3.0\1\DataFiles\”
Extract the this jar as followed :
$ORACLE_HOME\jdk\bin\jar xf webutil.2.2.jar frmwebutil.jar
Rename the frmwebutil.jar0 to frmwebutil.jar and overwrite the current version used which most likely can be found here “$ORACLE_HOME\forms\java”.
This solved the problem for me !
