Plant closed on delivery date

Hi Friends,
I am trying to create a STO and I am getting "Plant 7099 closed on delivery date" error message. Could anybody suggest me what is the reason of this error?
Please suggest.

this is probably caused by the plant calendar especially the holiday calendar assigned to your plant calendar, may have this delivery date as a non-working day

Hi.
I am unable to find the code for the calculation of dates in schedule lines in VA02. For plant 0201 the delivery date in schedule lines is coming wrong. I think it is not getting calculated according to the route. In addition, it is not taking route from APO but taking it from R3. I have done the debugging several times and looked into the program SAPMV45A also but still could not find the code for the calculation. Can you please guide me on this?

Comitted delivery date in STO

Hi Friends,
When there is no stock available the supplying plant, the comitted delivery date in ths Stock transport orderis showing as 31.12.9999 which is impossible to meet.
Do you have any clue on this abnormal behavior of the system?

The delivery date is the date on which we receive goods.The process of delivery date determination is in the moment you enter a material number and hit enter, SAP moves the current date into the delivery date, and depending on planned delivery time of material master it add those days to the current date. If the data entered is sufficient to determine already the info record, then it takes the planned delivery time from there into consideration. Thanking you.

How to list a material in a plant for the specified delivery date

Hi experts,
I am quite new in the area .I have now a problem with PO.
At the item level of my PO, the plant will not be extracted automatically. Is this normal?
And after I entered the plant manually and the error message shows up:
""the material xx not listed in plant".
To be more specific, "Material xxx is not listed in plant xxx for the specified delivery date".
I have checked the material master data and found this material has been extended for this plant.
How can I fix this problem?

Yes this is normal, however you can set a plant to be proposed by the system. To do this in the purchase order, click the button Personal setting, which you can find at the top right hand side. The system will open a personal settings window. In the default values tab, under PO item tab, you can enter the default plant value and other data. Save the data. Then whenever you create a new purchase order, the system will populate these default values.

Check whether the material master -purchasing view has been activated or not.

Delivery date for forwarder and plant

Hi Gurus,
I have got one issue, the description provided for me is "We have delivery date plant, and delivery date forwarder, but in case we use one lead time, should only delivery date plant showed in form." Could any body help me out in this regard.

Yeah got ur point i was mapping the table configuaration for ur reference.
This grouping is supposed to make sure that all materials are delievered at the same Date (VBEP-EDATU) and must use the last date in the delivery group.
say materials X -- DELIVERY DATE 20 12 2006
Y -- DELIVERY DATE 27 12 2006
so the matnrs are avalaible in VBAP along with for the VBELN and POSNR values now pick the delivery date for this material from VBEP ,,
Now once the itab is sorted by delivery group and EDATU descending .
so X and Y are present in for delivery group 001 say .
X -- DELIVERY DATE 20 12 2006
Y-- DELIVERY DATE 27 12 2006
after sort by date it will be
Y-- DELIVERY DATE 27 12 2006
X -- DELIVERY DATE 20 12 2006
which will pick up the latest date (or max date)
Tis was what i meant to say.

Delivery Date Re-Calculation in Stock Transfer Order PO

Hi All,
We have Transportation scheduling activated and maintain 'Transit Duration Times' in our Routes (Populated 'TransitDur' field in Route <0VTC>) R/3 46c
When we create a stock transfer order the 'Delivery Date' in the STO PO is determined by the 'TransitDur' (Transit Duration) value maintained in the route between the 'Supplying and 'Receiving' plants.
After creating the STO PO, if the delivery is delayed and we need to reflect this change in the STO, when we attempt to change the delivery date - the system re-calculates the delivery date using the date on which the changes are made as the starting point and extending out the full length of time based on the value in the 'TransitDur' field in the Route.
This means we are not able to change the delivery date in the STO PO to a date that is later than the original delivery date but still earlier than the date re-calculated by the system using the date on which the changes are made as the starting point.
Is anyone aware of any functionality/config which allows you to manually change the delivery date in the STO PO - but not be restricted to changing the date by the value in the 'TransitDur' field of the Route, when it is a subsequent change to the PO and greater than the original date determined by the system?

Re-calculate delivery date in Stock transfer order ( STO UB ), V_V2

Hi, running the transaction v_v2 only Sto (Stock Transfer Order) At item level.
Scenario:
         Sales order in Plant 2.
         Sto , Plant 1 to Plant 2.
         Purchase Order To Vendor in Plant 1.
When I run V_V2 in Plant 1, the First execute transaction V_V2 is OK, This system availavility check the STO and confirm the delivery date and the quantity.
Now I change the delivery date in Purchase Order but the transaction V_v2 in plant 1 don´t make any change in the STOCK TRANSFER ORDER (STO) in the Delivery Date field.
Why the systen don´t change the delivery date in STO automaticaly, Becuase I can change manualy in ME22N transaction, and the sytem confirm the quantity and the confirm date.
Other Example.
I have good issu the Purchae Order in Plant 1 and execute V_V2, the sytem do not re-calculate the delivery date in STO, Why ?.

Change schedule line delivery date

Hello,
We are doing STO intercompany scenario, with ATP control, routing delivery in schedule lines.
If for example in Supplying Plant the delivery date is 2 month in the future, and we have dates and quantities confirmed in the STO, if this Plant creates the Outbound delivery and PGI tomorrow, how can the buying Plant will notice this situation?
Once PGI schedule lines in STO will not be ATP anymore and the delivery dates will be not be updated.
At schedule line level I can see the quantity was delivery but the delivery date it is not updated to the new one.

The point is I am able to Update the Statistical Delivery Date in the Same EKET table using BAPI_PO_Change .I have Checked all the Ways to update the EKET-EINDT(Delivery Date)but no Unable to do it.

Schedule line delivery dates change in VA01

Experts,
User is adding some days for a material in maintenance table and it is like below.
Material Days Plant
2525252 100 ABCD
3636363 150 PQRS
The requirement is --
While creating sales orders or changing sales orders(VA01 or VA02) while adding this material(2525252)in the line item - In schedule line items Delivery date should changed (some thing like get added 100days)
I have added my logic in routine RV03VFZZ. But some materials are not getting changed due to avilability check.
How can i bypass availability check ?
(tried in USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP... but no use).

Take a look an ATP00001 in SMOD. However, this looks to me as a classic case when we're trying to use ABAP to compensate for poor functional choices or an incorrect business process. I find it hard to believe this cannot be done by other means than such funky ABAP.

Schedule Line Delivery Date Calculation with Transportation Scheduling

Hi All,
We are currently running into a problem where our Sales Order Schedule Line delivery dates are being pushed out too far into the future - because of the Calendar being used to determine the transit time.
We have 'Delivery Scheduling' and 'Transportation Scheduling' activated for our Sales Document type
We have Routes that are configured with a 'Transit Time' and a 'Factory Calendar'
Order Scenario:
'Factory Calendar' assigned to our 'Route' is setup with only one 'Workday' in a given week e.g. Wednesday
Our 'Route' has a Transit Time of 2 days
We create a Sales Order on Monday for a Material that is available in our Plant
The 'Goods Issue' date is being determined correctly for the next Workday - being Wednesday
The 'Delivery Date' is extending out over 15 days (2 Wednesdays into the future) - since it is working on 'Calendar Days' and not 'Actual Days'
Does anyone know of a way (config or other) to only influence the 'Goods Issue' date with the 'Factory Calendar' assigned to the Route, and have the 'Delivery Date' calculated using the Transit Time on the Route and 'Actual Days' rather than Calendar days?
All help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I have already maintained the Calendars I'm using for this business process in <SCAL> - same as <OY05>.
The problem I'm having though is that by assigning a Calendar directly to my route (which I doing to influence the goods issue date - using a 1 Working Day Calendar) it is also taking precedence in determining the Transit time - which in this case I don't want, as I want my Transit time to be determined using a 5 Working Day Calendar.
I don't think this problem has a config option as a work around...I think the only possibility in this case is a development to achieve the results we need.

Delivery date in STO b/w sloc

Hi All,
Need your help in understanding the delivery date prposed by SAP in ME21N for document type UB and stock transfer between sloc to sloc with delivery for a plant.
Current stock in MMBE in issuing sloc is 34
Also checked the stock requirement list and the requirement is 2 pc as of now.
Data from config.
1 Shipping point- Pick pack time / load time --route dependent
2. Pick pack time/load time is 0 in route
3. Transportation lead time is 0
4. Transit time is 1 day
5. Planned delivery time is 3 days
6. GR processing time is 1 day.
PO creation date is 5 april 2011
As per the concept I know the below calculation should happen to find out the delivery date.
Assumption: Commited date = material availability date
material avalibility date(5 april 2011 should come but i dont know how 6 april is coming) + transprotation lead time (0 day) + loading time (0)+ good issue(5 april)+ transit time(1 day) + Planned delivery time (3 days)
Delivery date should come as = 9 april but in system its coming as 8 april
some checking rule is also assigned to material in mrp3 view

Delivery date in sales order

Hello Gurus
I have a sales order with 5 items, the requirement is suppose all the the 8 items have different delivery dates eg: item 1 - 06.01.2009, item 2 - 15.02.2009, item 3 - 03.03.2009, item 4 - 25.01.2009,
item 5 - 03.02.2009. The need is i want the the last date for all the items to be based on ie for 3 rd item 03.03.2009, to be the delivery date for all the items, like this delivery date should change.
Need for this when the entire sales order will be closed, user wants to know and he wants to delivery only on that date all the items, automatically how to do that.

Goto VA02 - open the sales order- in the overview screen, click the tab Shipping and in the column D (Delivery Group) next to the column Material, give value 1 for all the line items and save the order. Now if you open the order again and check the schedule lines, all the delivery dates will be rescheduled and you can see the same date for all the line items, latest date by which all the items are available.

Hi, I have a question, delivery date in STO (UB documnet type) or PO ( Doc type NB) what it refer? ( item-->delivery date)
I mean the date on which we are going to receive the goods or the date on which either vendor or supplying plant going to transafer or ship the goods?
Since we are able to create outbound delivery in STO using VL10b transaction only if the delivery date in PO is greater than or equal to VL10b delivery date.
Also let me know, how the delivery date will be determined in PO/STO automatically. when i enter the material , plant and qty automatically delivery date is getting determined?

Delivery date in Sales Order for Make to Order Scenario

We are creating Sales order for MTO ... In that our requirement is to get the delivery date based on Production planning and not from RLT. ie we have configured RLT as 36 days, system calculates delivery date as 36 days from the date of order what ever be the order quantity but considering our plant capacity this is not possible. In our Production planning we allocate certain numbers per week. so when we give 100 nos order it plans as per the allocation if we see through MD73 it will give clear picture but in our sales order it shows delivery possible date as 36 days from date of PO. How to correct this.. it should calculate from the date of beginning of the production process.
Can any one help in finding solution for this

Delivery date in weekends in schedule line

Hi friends
we are using 7 days working factory calendar for a plant. But we do not want to have the delivery date on saturdays and sundays. (Delivery date in schedule lines). I used one Z lot size to refer the planning calendar(having monday to friday working).
But the solution is not feasible as we are using different lot sizes like EX,MB etc.,
Please let me know if you have any solution on this.

Hi Ranganathan,
You create one more calendar with all the holiday same but only with saturday and sunday as holiday. Assign that calendar in SPRO -> Enterprise structure->Definition-> Sales and Distribution-> Define copy and delete, check sales organisation. in that assign in the factory calender in the sales org calendar.
