The updater pushes for C, but C is my dedicated SSD OS drive, and there's no way I'm installing anything else there. CS6 is installed in F.

The updates will properly be applied to your apps on F:. The temporary downloads will respect your settings for your user folders and temp folders, but if you haven't changed them, then they will default to C: no matter what - like Windows temp files, caches and otehr stuff, so in fact you are possibly trying to prevent something that happens under your nose every day already. Check your system varaibles and group policies.

If we set a valuation area in company or in plant level , can we change the setting later
ex : change from company level to plant level
or change from plant level to company level
or can't be change any more.
And if it can be change , what limit for the change ?

In Versions from 4.7 or 4.6 onwards, Valuation area is always Plant level and it cant be changed...
Only in earlier versions, valuation area at comp code was available.. Now that is completely gone and un-changeable

Can't change Adobe CS5 icon in Mavericks

Hi guys!
Yes I understand the information:
1. Candy Bar does not really work in Mavericks now. Got it.
2. LiteIcon works pretty darn well.
3. Manually themeing icons is not that hard
4. I can't change icons of apps installed from MacAppStore.
with that being said:
Its been a real issue changing Adobe's CS5 in Mavericks. If anyone could help me out with locations and file names that would be awesome. I've gone into the .app and messed around but can't get anything to change.

Maintenance view event for validation when changing data

Hi All,
I have a maintenance view on a table that should validate some fields during user input.
I am using event 05 'Creating a new entry' to validate fields when user creates new entry in the table. That works fine.
I would like to have the same validations happening when the user changes fields of records already existing in the database. I tried to use event 01 'Before saving the data in the database' but the problem with this is that user can change many fields of many records before clicking 'Save'. I would like to have the error raised for incorrect entry already after the change.
So far I could not find an event to do this but only by changing the code itself. The problem with that is whenever the code is regenerated the custom part is lost.
Is there an event I can use that would help me achieve this?

I tried event 21, I`m playing around with that since that`s the only one triggered when I press Enter.
The problem with this is that
- the check runs when you press enter, so you can still change many fields of many records (one step maintenance) before the validation runs
- you can`t raise an error message, because only the key fields will be input ready, the non-key fields will be readonly
The way I currently handle is I undo the changes in 21 (get previous field values from TOTAL) and raise an information message i/o an error informing user to check the entry.
What I`m looking for is an event that will raise a message and set focus on the incorrect field (if there`s one such).

We have changed the maintenance plant of Equipment from 1100 plant to 1200 plant.
Planner group is by default appears in work order once the technical object is selected in order creation.
Can we change the planning plant and company code in maintenance work order?

Dear Friend,
you moved equipment from one plant to other plant, but company code is same know.
Actually its not possible to change the company code in maintenance order.
once you shift any technical object from one location to other location, do change the technical object materdata also.
for your question you change the equipment masterdata so that u new planner group will triggeer in main.order.

I need to send a mail on plant maintenance order (IW32) save event if there is any change in operation - requirement assignment person. Means if the operation is assigned to a person then notify that person on order save event.
Can anybody help me on this in finding some BADi or user exit?

What are the views/fields that we can't change by Mass maintenance of MMR(material master record)?

I would like to know the fields/views that we can not change by using mass maintenance of MMR if there are open PO for that particular material in concern. Likewise there was a question in SAP certification exam having options: "base unit of measure", "material type" and so on....

in general you can change any field that can be changed in MM02. if the field is grayed then you cannot. e.g. if you make use a MRP profile. and in this profile the maintenance of those fields is disabled then you cannot do it MM17 either.

email send/receive suddenly doesn't work (as of September 24th); I can't change email settings (one suggestion from tech) as BB phone won't accept *valid* username and password -- what to do?
I understand from a support note that if I keep trying my password/username combination, my BB will eventually delete all data!
I can't understand this. I'm completely lost now. I can't remember what I've done or tried to do. A plethora of usernames and passwords is swimming in my head.
Thanks for any hints. I have always loved this BB Bold and have never had any trouble with it.

But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work? I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe. This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot. But I know both were exactly the same. But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

You could do it indirectly in ECC using a cost centre for each FLoc. You can then plan the costs in the cost centre
