Play buttons on some sites are not fuctional

On sites like Bandcamp, and other video sites, items are not showing or playing. I have reinstalled and updated Firefox, scanned my computer for malware (even tried your fix by changing exe to firefox1.exe) reinstalled Adobe Flash, disabled plugins and then enabled as requested.
It feels like it is Java script that is the problem but nothing I do seems to repair. This happened once before when I sampled Windows Office 2007 and I am concerned it could be that too

You can use this extension to see which fonts are used for text that is selected (right-click context menu: Show fonts in selection).

It might be a known issue of SQL Server 2012. I would suggest opening a case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) (http://support.microsoft.com), so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist you

My Sites database status changed to "Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded."

We have a brand new SharePoint 2013 farm which we just put into production. As users have begun creating their My Sites, the My Sites web application database changed to a status of "Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded."
Huh?
Prior to deploying to production, we had some test users that had created My Sites, and everything was fine. The database status was "No action required".
Anyone know why the creation of My Sites would cause the database status to flip to this warning?

First of all, to identify what site collection doesn't got upgraded.
         Run: stsadm.exe -o localupgradestatus > upgradestatus.txt
or
PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures (Run from one of the WFE server)
In below as you see, there no site collection that need upgrade. If you have any, you can identify
them by searching by word "Needs upgrade" in this file.
Secondly, run the command in the Power Shell:
For resuming the upgrade, you’ll need the ID for the database :
Get-SPContentDatabase -Identity <your content database name>
When you got the GUID for the database you can then resume the upgrade
         upgrade-spcontentdatabase -id <database
GUID>
Finally, check the upgrade status by running stsadm again:
stsadm.exe -o localupgradestatus > upgradestatus.

Some sites are not reachable (for me) sometimes, then they are again

I have a DSL connection at home and a Netgear WLAN router connected to it.
Since I changed to Leopard some sites like google/Apple/yahoo and many others are not accessible on a random base.
Sometimes I just have to change from Sarari to Firefox and everything´s fine. Sometimes vice versa, Sometimes my MacBook Pro keeps telling me that I have no Internet connection although all other sites open perfectly well in the very moment.. Sometimes I just have to wait for 10 minutes (sometimes just 1) and I get access to this site.
There is absolutely no logic visible for me. The same happens with my wife´s MacBook.
When I am connecting through my Vodafone 3G UMTS card no problems what so ever. When I am at any other network - again no problem.
So what do I have to do with this Netgear Router or this ADSL modem? Any clue? I did not change anything for years because I had no reason.
The same - by the way - happens now and then with my mail server. System tells me that the server is not accessible at the moment which is not true of course. It´s just that my Mac can´t come through for any reason.

Yes, this follows an upgrade to Leopard. But I don´t know how to do what you tell me to do.
When I go to Network (I am connected to my router via Ethernet cable) I see the following:
Configuration: DHCP
IP-Adress: xxx.xxx.x.x
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Router: xxx.xxx.x.x
DNS-Server: the same value as the router but greyed out and not accessible
Search Domain: lan but greyed out as well
So what to change now? May be on the router itself?

I think somebody is hacking my visiting websites and ip address.Some sites are not opening.When I am trying to open mozilla 1 message box is being displayed stating that one firefox is being opened and not responding first close it & restart the system.

At present 2 websites are not opening. When I am trying to open these sites either "problem loading page or the website you are looking is not present". These two messages are being displayed.

Try clearing your browser cache.
Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button.

Some sites are not navigable

Why are some sites so difficult to navigate. Trying to book airline tickets with Easyjet but cannot complete the booking as the BOOK NOW button is overlaid with text and unusable. Tried using keyboard instead of pad or house and still no luck. Have to revert to my HP netbook to do the booking online.

I am getting "Upgrade Available" on all servers in the farm. On closer inspection, the above message is coming up in the "Review Database Status" area. I have run the Upgrade-SPContentDatabase command on the database but although it says it complete, the
error above is still there. No error messages in log or warnings or anything.
Is there anything else I need to do?

One thing you can try is to run the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard tool on a server in the farm to see if that will perform the upgrade you need to get that message removed. It shouldn't affect anything in your farm from a functionality standpoint,
but I would recommend doing it during a maintenance window or a period of lower usage for your farm.
If that runs without error but you still have the issue, try running the command line version of the Wizard, PSCONFIG.exe. From the command line you can specify a -force parameter that may require those components to get upgraded. PSCONFIG.exe is in the
BIN directory in the SharePoint Root, same place as STSADM.
Try it as such:
psconfig -cmd -upgrade b2b -wait -force
This will foce a "build to build" upgrade of SharePoint, and will hopefully clean up the places within SharePoint's databases where you're still seeing that upgrade message.

Whether this is central admin content database or a web application's one?
If this is web application, execute the next PowerShell script from SharePoint Management Shell:
$db = Get-SPContentDatabase -Identity <Name of your database>
Upgrade-SPContentDatabase -Identity $db
If this is Central Admin content database, then:
Get-SPWebApplication -IncludeCentralAdministration | Get-SPContentDatabase

Elements Organizer - some WMV are not displayed properly in the Play Video but are in Play Vide on Full screen. What's the problem? Wrong codec?

Because WMV's can contain a lot of flags, like DRM, they can exhibit odd behavior, indeed.
Usually, AV files will display in their native resolution, i.e. in their set Frame Size/Aspect Ratio and with their set PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio), but sometimes those flags are missed, or are altered by other programs.
Remember, WMV's are designed to be streaming delivery-only, and are not intended, or designed to be edited. Most NLE's (Non Linear Editors) will allow them to be edited, but will require extra processing to do so. As is mentioned, WMM is designed around editing that delivery-only format, but most others are not.
There are many other formats/CODEC's, that ARE designed to be edited by the vast majority of NLE's, such as DV-AVI Type II's.
The best workflow is to NOT bring WMV's into the mix, unless one is using WMM exclusively. Converting those to an easily editable format/CODEC will always be the best course of action.

Ok, so I'll try again. Thank you for the idea of looking in Home Videos, which is where all my "lost" videos are listed.
Is there a way to get them to display under their appropriate genre in the Movie section, which is where they all were listed prior to the os6 update? It does me no good to have hundreds of movies categorized in iTunes via a genre only to have them appear in Home Videos on ATV. These are not "home movies." They are legit mp4 movies that worked great under v5.

I have the same problem, but note: the problem is NOT that the dotted-line box is showing up per se; it's that favicons that used to appear on bookmarks no longer do so, even though a valid favicon exists for that Web site, and even though I visit the Web site again by clicking on that link and even though about:config confirms that favicons should be showing up.
In other words, favicons are not being saved or refreshed; they are all turning to the dotted box icon and staying that way, no matter what.
To repeat, the dotted-line icon is not the problem; it's the loss of favicons that appeared properly in FF7 and the failure in FF8 to update favicons after clicking on links.
In a possibly related bug, the Adblock Plus icon no longer appears in the Navigation Toolbar, even though about:config confirms that it should and even though the option to display in the Navigation Bar is checked and even though an icon does appear in the Status Bar and even though the add-on is installed and otherwise working normally.

Even when i have updated version of adobe flash player and active x from adobe.com, some sites do not play the video. A request box, install the plug in comes. When i click it, it again tries to install the same version of adobe, which i have already downloaded. it is only for some sites.

ActiveX is part of the Windows operating system. Plus the ActiveX version of Adobe Flash is for Internet Explorer. Other browsers need their own version of Flash' Firefox needs the Plugin version of Flash.
If you go to the Adobe website to download Flash while using Firefox, Adobe will provide the correct version of Flash automatically. Just make sure you de-select any other programs that Adobe may want to stick you with before you actually download Flash. Then close Firefox and run the Adobe Flash installer.

Problem with Youtube and Flashplayer : some options are not responding anymore

I have a very strange problem since few days only on Youtube (other famous flashvideo websites are working without problem) I tried many things already without success.
I can still play videos on youtube, excepted the buttons under the player are not responding AT ALL. I can still see them but it's not responding (or for exemple when Im going on the youtube player "Sound" icon the bar volume doesn't appear)
I tried already to uninstall flashplayer and update it to the last version (10...38) but no changes. I have the same problems on all browers (IE; Firefox and Chrome). I also reset all Firefox and IE without success. Reinstall Java. And I have the last drivers for my graphic ard AMD.

Quite strange also on IE you can see that there is a kind of bar who seems to block me the access to the control of the youtube player icons :

Im on Windows 7 64Bits, but i'm using the 32Bits version of Firefox and IE, I tried also to turn OFF my Avast Antivirus and my firewall. But no changes.
If anyone has an idea, i would really appreciate because even if i can still watch video, i cannot change the audio volume of it and change the resolution or even activate the google subtitles options. The only icons who are responding on the youtube players are the two on the right (to enlarge the screen).

When you open iTunes it opens a database file that contains the locations of the media files you use to play the music. If something has happened to invalidate where iTunes thinks that file is stored you get a ! There are many possible reasons. Sometimes a computer can start to lose files. In other situations it is something you did such as renaming a folder or drive iTunes uses, or moving the files manually. If you can give us hints we can start working our way down the long list.
