Playing Multiple purchased Videos?

I am really shocked that I even have to post this question but here goes. I purchased through iTunes about 25 music videos today hoping to create a playlist  to watch while working out. It allowed me to create the playlist but when I try to watch is back it is sound only. I have been in forums all day and cannot find any postings for videos actually purchased through iTunes on how to playback multiple at a time.
The advice given to to resave file as television show or other format does not work because it is not a highlighted option. You also cannot copy in different format like you can with music because again it is not a highlighted option.
Somebody please help, the iTunes monster drained me of $50.00 today for videos and I cannot not even watch them back to back, uurrgghh!

There is not now nor ever been an option to create video playlists.

There are a g-zillion posts sharing your problem... but still no answer from Apple. The odd thing is that it is not affecting all of us.
I share your problem and it's doing my head in... if somebody mentions the 5 bloody R's again...!!!

  • Playing multiple music videos.

After a music video finishes playing the iPhone goes back to the menu where I can pick a video to play.
I'd really like to find a way to have the phone play all the videos in a given play list like it does for music instead of having to manually select the next one.
Is there any way to do this?
    thanks,
    Bill

Hi Ian, thanks for that, I bought AirFoil, seemed to be just what I needed. Its a great piece of kit, I can even use my iPhone as a remote speaker! But it falls short of my requirements. To play music videos without a 2 second audio lag, you have to use the in built video player, which only allows single files to be loaded rather than a playlist, meaning each song needs to be loaded individually, which isn't perfect for parties!
I will keep looking for a solution. Really appreciate your help, I thought you had cracked my problem with Airfoil!
    Cheers

  • Play multiple MovieClips videos in sequence

    Hi,
I've multiple videos stored as MovieClip objects and would like to merge them into a single MovieClip video object in order to play all of them in sequence (so that a user thinks it's a single longer video). Is it possible?
    Thanks a lot!

                   yes very possible.
there are a few ways to do this, but this is the route i would go.
if you are good with OOP let me know and i will create the class's for you otherwise, also is there sound involved?

Using iTunes 9 and OS 10.5.8

I am a new MAC user and just converted my iTunes over. I do have some songs that were purchased on my PC but I have moved often so my user name was changed based on email addresses. How can I gain access to those older boughten songs. I have about 100 and of course they are my favorite. Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

  • How can I play multiple music videos continuously on Apple TV?

Regular music plays continuously, one song to another, etc. I can't get my music videos to do the same. One plays, and after it's over, ATV won't go to the next video. I can't figure it out. Does anyone out there know how to do it?

What I find is really silly, is the fact the music video's are listed under that artists albums in the Music menu. And when you go into the video 'album' (called 'Unknown' unless you change it) there is an option to shuffle the tracks. Clicking this just results in an error message. So, they should either remove that option if it is a video album, or, better yet, GET IT TO WORK. So silly of them to omit this.
    I have submitted feedback.

  • Quicktime crashes when I attempt to play purchased videos

I have recently purchased a few TV shows on iTunes. Just today, iTunes will no longer play these purchased videos: When I try to play an episode itunes either becomes unusable, or outright crashes. Quicktime also crashes when I try to use it to play the files directly.
This isn’t happening on any other videos, including video podcasts. It only happens on the episodes that I have purchased. They do appear to still work on my ipod touch. Can anyone help me with this?

If your computer has multiple accounts on it, QT 7.0.3 has a new bug that only allows the user that installed the software to use it. All other users get a "Cannot load ActiveX control" or other error, including Error 46. The original installer should be able to use, but other features of Pro right now are buggy, including export.
If that doesn't work, try cCleaner (a freeware registry cleaner) that will mop up the registry mess QT is making. You may get a clean install (took me 6 times) but still only works for user that installed the software and no other user.

  • Problem with purchased video playback and app stability

Music videos I've purchased through the iTMS play for about 20 seconds then the audio stops, and about 5 seconds later the app crashes and returns me to the main menu or the phone reboots; this problem occurs only with a video I've purchased, as any other video or even podcast plays without a hitch. It's something I can recreate without problem, I just have to play a purchased video and it will crash the app.
I've tried doing a regular reboot and even a full restore, neither of which fixes the problem.
The applications in general seem stable for the most part, but sometimes I even have problems doing basic functions like browsing pictures in Photos, using Maps, or even typing up something in Notes.
Do I have a lemon or the start of one? Is there a solution that I've overlooked? What should I do if this is just hardware failure? I really, really enjoy my phone for the majority of it and it's something that I'm always discussing with my friends and family. Thanks in advance for any answers.

  • Cannot view or listen to purchased videos on Itunes.

Last weekend I purchased several videos on itunes and I was able to view them fine the first few days and then all of a sudden when I tried playing the video all I would get is a grey screen with no image or sound. I am using the most current version of itunes on an imac. Please help! Thank you!

Hi, this exact same thing has happened to me. However, I have updated EVERYTHING, i have the most recent version of iTunes and Quicktime. When i try to play a purchased video, even one i just bought last night, it says I am not authorized to play this, so then it tries to contact iTunes to let me authorize it, but it doesnt, a window pops up and says..."could not contact iTunes, you must download at least iTunes version 4.0 to authorize and play this video." this happens with any purchased video i try to play. The gray screen with no sound or video. Please help! I have tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing. Same problem still. An Apple Consultant friend of mine told me to delete the two iTunes plist files in my library and restart, and I did that but it still has the same problem! Please help! here or my email is:

  • Purchased video

I just purchased Saturday Night Live's Best of Gilda Radner off of the music store. Right after I hit purchase I was reading reviews and one said that I couldn't go onto the video iPod. Sure enough, when it was done downloading I hooked up my iPod and it wouldn't add to my iPod. I thought that all video that was downloaded from the music store was supposed to automatically work with the iPod. Was I wrong? Is there something wrong with this file?
    Thanks
    ~Craig

Authorization issues often can only be resolved by
letting the customer service dept. at the Store reset

I've been through all this also. Customer service didn't seem to even look at my e-mails, they just sent me replies copied from the support section of the apple website. My problem was exactly the same as the 1st poster's, and none of my purchased content, music, video or Tetris, would copy over to my iPod. After about 6 weeks of e-mails, they finally reset the account passworrds for me and my wife, and it didn't work. I told them this in ANOTHER e-mail, and the reply was there must be something wrong with my computer... and that was it.
I've found that if I re-authorize iTunes IMMEDIATELY and ONLY before syncing the iPod, the video, games and music will play on the iPod. As soon as I try to play any purchased video in iTunes, though, I get the same authorization messages. There's an apple store about 30 miles from me, and I'm thinking of taking my mini to do a little "Sit-In" until they actually look at it and fix it.

  • Previously purchased videos from iTunes now no longer play in iTunes 7.0

Just upgraded to iTunes 7.0 and was ded impressed with the new look etc... right until I thort i'd have a peek at some music vids. From a collection of 20 or so I now only have 5 left. The rest are in the music library with their little video icon but won't play properly. It looks like the video codec is wrong but since they are virtually all iTunes purchased videos this seems a huge oversight on their part! When played i just get a flashing green and yellow screen instead of the video. Can any one help?
    Thanks in advance
    Jack

I have a similar problem. Music videos will play, but with a framerate of about 1fps. Manually recorded clips that are in my library in order to watch them on my iPod have the same problem. Same for video-podcasts. However, I have not lost any. Also they all still play well on the iPod.
To sum it up: Within iTunes 7 i cannot watch any videos that worked in iTunes 6.

  • 5th Gen iPod Unable To Play Purchased Videos & Music

    Hi!
Sometimes it's a mistake to update the iPod just before a trip! So I found out as my 5th Gen iPod would not play any of the purchased videos or music I had on it. All of the other music on the iPod played fine and so, too, did my own iMovie videos, so I knew that nothing was really that wrong with the iPod. It just wouldn't play the purchased stuff. Yeah... that's right, the music and videos that came with DRM protection wouldn't play! If it's on my iPod, wouldn't it have been legally downloaded in the first place? Here is the set up: I changed the setting on my computer to allow it to sleep. I then had some problems so I changed it back to never sleeping. One problem was with iTunes. My iTunes would not play my purchased stuff because somehow, my computer "forgot" that it was "authorized" and gave me a message stating that I had to re-authorize the computer. I did so even though I knew that it was already authorized. But.. according to the message I got after that, I now had 1 computer authorized of my allowed five. Weird... but "okay"... I thought... "everything is working, again." But around then, I had updated my iPod and then went out of town for six days, only to find that the purchased videos and music would not play. Oh... like my iPod was not "authorized!" Okay.. This is infuriating as really this DRM restriction software ends up impacting negatively the honest people far more than any fans of the old Napster. This is a fact Apple well understands and the music industry seems oblivious of. So... despite the fact that I have legally downloaded and paid for every piece of music and video I have on the computer and iPod, I am treated like the scum of the earth by having my purchases not work on my iPod because my computer forgets it is authorized! But you know, I am a bright thing and solved my own problem. I thought resetting the iPod would solve the problem but it did not. I re-synced the iPod when I got home, after making sure the computer was still authorized, but this too failed to solve the problem. What did solve the problem was deleteing one of the TV shows and then re-dragging it on to the iPod (I have it manually managed) and syncing the iPod, again. Suddenly all of the purchased videos and music work again. We are back to happy times with the iPod again. But I must ask, who are you really hurting with this silly DRM thing, anyway?

There has got to be a better solution to this problem, which I have as well, than the ones suggested above (no offense). So I'm bumping the post and praying someone can help me out. I'm using iMovie 4.0.1 and iTunes 6.0.1.
Unforunately for all of us, there is not.
    Sue
    BTW-no offense taken.

  • Snow Leopard iTunes 10.5 will not play multiple video tracks in QuickTime .MOV files

I recently discovered that Snow Leopard iTunes version 10.5 won't play multiple video tracks in a QuickTime .MOV file.
Both video tracks appear and play correctly when playing the file in:
    - QuickTime Player 10 or QuickTime Player 7.7 on the same Snow Leopard machine
    - iTunes 10.3.1 on another Snow Leopard machine
    - iTunes 10.5 on Leopard or Windows 7
So I think the problem is iTunes 10.5 on Snow Leopard (although I haven't been able to test iTunes 10.4).
First test file is two 640x480 video tracks side-by-side (total dimensions 1280x480):
    http://160.94.17.23/demo/two-video-tracks-1280x480.mov
All I see is the first (left) video track, and not the right one.  iTunes "Get Info" command incorrectly reports the video dimensions of the file as 640x480.
Second test file is two 640x480 video tracks played one after another (duration of 10 seconds each):
    http://160.94.17.23/demo/two-video-tracks-640x480.mov
All I see is the first video track, and although it reports the correct file duration (20 seconds), the second video track never appears -- it simply freezes on the final frame of the first video track for the last 10 seconds.
Anyone else see similar behavior?  Unless I'm missing something, I suppose I should submit this as a bug to Apple.

I have the same problem, i tried re-installing, converting it to AVC H264 but none seems to work so far
