What happened to being able to view links in PDFs on the iPad?
We create our board packets in Adobe Acrobat on a computer then send them to our board members who receive them on their iPads. When we create them on the computer, we make specific words links so that during the board meeting, our board members can tap on the word and it jumps them to the pay within their packets that discuss that topic. We also make links at the bottom of the pages of each section to take them back to the agenda page (they say "back to top"). Over the last couple months, we've noticed these links don't show up when we open the board packets in the Adobe Reader app on the iPads, but they did used to show up. They show up in the file if I open it on my computer. They also don't show up on a file I have uploaded to Google Drive for our board members to access. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get this working again?

Results may vary depending on how hyperlinks are defined in your PDF documents.
Here's an example of the PDF document containing the hyperlinks that work in Adobe Reader for iOS.

You can transfer the file to your iPad/iPhone, open it in Adobe Reader for iOS, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and tap one of the links: "Convert PDF to Word", "Convert PDF to Excel", etc.
Adobe Reader for iOS will display the confirmation dialog and open it in Safari (web browser) as expected.
What happens when you tap the hyperlinks in your PDF documents (that are generated by the latest version of Acrobat)? Does it do anything? Do you see an error message?
It is possible that (a) the hyperlinks for web pages in your PDF documents are not defined correctly or (b) Adobe Reader for iOS has a defect that prevents the hyperlinks from working correctly.
We need to take a look at individual PDF documents to properly diagnose the cause of the problem.
Would you share one of your PDF documents with us (Adobe)? I can send the instructions on how to privately share your PDF document(s) with us in a separate email. If you don't mind sharing a PDF document in this public forum, you can provide the public link to your PDF document using "Share Public Link" in Adobe Reader for iOS.

The examples shown for Firefox 4 and above show a browser with the orange Firefox tab on the top left corner.
In my case, the browser continues to look - and operate like the older versions.Go to View (or just right-click on any empty space of Firefox's panels - for example, near the tabs) and turn off the Main Menu Panel. You'll see what you're looking for.

Here is the thing, currently I have an id of apple with my gmail account, which I associated the iCloud account. I would like to delete my account to create a new from the iphone, so it is "iCloud" as my primary address. I want my apple ID is "[email protected]" not "[email protected]".
ThanksUnfortunately, you can't. The primary address for your iCloud account must be a non-Apple email account. The only exception to this is for former MobileMe subscribers who migrated to iCloud when MobileMe closed, which was 18 months ago.

I downloaded the most recent version of Firefox as requested. No Firefox icon appears
to drag into the Applications folder. I tried twice with no luck. The old version remains.
I am on a new Mac. I will, when this works, be updating my older Mac as well.The thing in your download folder is a "disk image." You have to double-click it and it will place a white "disk" on your desktop. It should also open a window with a Firefox icon and your applications folder. I just got my iPhone set up the way I wanted. Then I went to back it up on my laptop for the first time. I accidentally declined the option to set it up as a new phone and set it to back up from my boyfriend's phone. I lost all my contacts. All i want to know is, can I still go back and set this phone as a new phone on my apple account or will it always back up as his phone?

settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe your phone as new, during setup - set up as new and not from backup. -

It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

No, this canot be done, afaik. When your camera or card is connected, you will see the thumbnails in the camera pane, but not full size preview. So to browse your photos on the iPad you will need to import them to your camera roll. But you need not delete them from the camera or card after importing, so you might simply import selected photos to your camera roll from the camera grid and then delete them again from the camera roll after importing and browsing, without removing them from the card/camera.

Can not take a screenshot with Maverick and track pad. can not use apple chat to talk with a tech. there are other issues also like I used to be able to go back a page with the delete button. No Maverick PDF to instruct on how to use Maverick
THE use of the apple support is a mess also.

What is wrong with this maverick OS?The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ... -
