Please can I have my Noise Margin lowered *again*

Please can I have my noise margin lowered back down to 6 again?
Although it is plugged 24/7 into the test socket, it has crept up again over the last 6 weeks, until another disconnect 10 minutes ago.
Maybe BT would consider, in future HH firmware updates, allowing users to negotiate their own SNR margin, without having to go through this forum?

I think it is unlikely that BT will ever update the HH to allow users to change their noise margin as it would give them even more support issues. If you wish to continue with a latency type of FAST then I suggest you invest in a router that allows you to specify the noise margin.     i'm looking for a new router to replace my HH2 for the main reason of setting my own noise margin i dont want something to pricey so i came across the NetGear DGN1000 it's got pretty decent specs but does it allow me to set my own noise margin ?? also do you recommened this router ??

    The DGN1000 doesn't have a Broadcom chipset so I don't think you can set the noise margin. The DGN2000 is a better router.

    I can't provide any direct help, but I can say I'm having a similar problem.  I can't pair my 4S with GOgroove FlexSMART X2 ADVANCED Wireless In-Car Bluetooth FM Transmitter.  My 3GS finds it with no problem, but neither my wife's or my 4S recognize that it is there.  What is most perplexing is that it does find other Bluetooth devices.

    1.Downloads from sites I use regularly are much slower.
    2.Bing videos pop up on current screen and never play properly.
    3.Attempted to download IE emulator so I can access OnDemand5.com via FF but the steps I was provided won't work with this version - I need the old version back.
    4.Sometimes just shuts down for no apparent reason.

    According to the trms of the iTunes and app stores - all sales are final. but that doe not mean that you can't try anyway. People ask for refunds all the time. Use the Express Lane email to contact iTunes.

    You can still download the other movies in iTunes on your computer. Launch iTunes and go to Store>Check for Available Downloads. You can download them in iTunes and then sync them to the iPad later. When you are done watching the first movie, you can transfer it into iTunes on your computer, delete it from the iPad and you will have the room for another movie on the device. To transfer the movie when you are done with it, you can use the transfer purchases feature.

  • Netgear noise margins

    I've swapped out the Hub for my Netgear DG834G but although the sync is good the noise margin drops from 3 during the day to 0 to -1 after about 18.00 hrs, I've rebooted a couple of times and each time the sync has dropped but I can't get the noise margin to increase.
    Any ideas please .

    the dgteam firmware gives more options but not sure about v3.  The v2 update I did gave a bit more information but not ability to alter my noise margin.  However the dg834pn I use with dgteam firmware allows me to negotiate my noise margin + or -.  currently mines is set at 75% to drop my NM and increase my sync

  • How can I have the side bar in iTunes 12??

    I just installed iTunes 12 that was claimed to provide "a more pleasant interface for navigation"!?!?
    Personally, I do not find the new view format pleasant at all. I expected to be allowed to go back to the lateral bar visualization, finding it as a view option. It was quite upsetting finding out that the option disappeared from the menue. Did you have the brilliant idea to remove it, or did you simply hide it somewhere else? (I am definitely too old to play "hide and seek" with visualization options and I really do not have the time either)
    Probably, kids like big figures that do not require any reading skill, unfortunately I do not.
    I conclusion, how can I have the side bar visible again in iTunes 12???

    P.S. Playlists is similar to lateral bar, but not the same, as it is not ONE allowing to navigate music, movies, podacast, but one for each.

    The functionality of the sidebar has changed indeed. But what's the problem? Category's of the library have been separated from playlists and moved to one of the top bars. I think it's an improvement for people using iTunes as a media-management tool. In the old version the playlists were at the bottom of the sidebar and if you had all options activated you had to scroll down to find your playlists.
    You don't have to do that anymore. Your music library is now aside with the playlists. If you want to activate another categorie you can use the icons in the topbar and still keep the overview on your playlists.
    People who use iTunes for syncing iDevices seem less happy with this new presentation. It seems a minor adjustment to me, but others seems to think otherwise.

    Based on the DB2 Cookbook, the fastload feature during upgrade is not available in Windows server and only in zLINUX.
    Questions please
    - can you have the CI in Windows and the apps server in zLINUX in the source and target systems?
    - if possible, how can you 'force' the 'export' and 'import' process to run only in the zLINUX apps server?

    let me answer your questions:

    We see no reason why the R3load based export and import for Unicode Conversion cannot be done on a DI. The R3load based steps belonging to the Upgrade will be done on your CI and without Fast Load.
    Since we'll be using parallel export/impirt, can we have that set-up in both the source and target system?
    Using parallel Export and Import should be fine.
    And how can we put the export and import process to use the zLINUX servers in the export and import?
    You just start the R3load processes on the Linux DI system instead of the CI.
    If you plan to implement zLinux for the reason of the Unicode Migration only (and not for server consolidation for example), you might think of Linux on xSeries as well. You can reuse the same hardware as for Windows appservers and the Export/Import Tasks will not share CPU resources with the Database system.
