I would like to inform you that not all the browsers and online PDF readers support copying text from a PDF. If you have opened the PDF online, please download PDF file to your computer and then open the file in Adobe Reader.
Please share a screenshot if the issue still persists.

Windows 8.1 Setup exe This product key didn't work. Check it and try again

I am upgrading my machine with a new MOBO and SSD. I need a full windows 8.1 install disk so I am trying to create one from the WindowsSetupBox.exe file.
I am doing this on the machine that I will be upgrading and it currently has 8.1 Pro. When I enter my product key (yes confirmed correct) I get 'This product key didn't work. Check it and try again.'
My MOBO is coming today and I really want to get this thing done tonight but I can't even begin without an 8.1 Pro install disk. any help is much appreciated.
NOTE: I tried the regedit fix that I found for the same error on activating windows. (no luck)

I attempted this, and it installed fine but would not accept my key when trying to change.
I had to call tech support and waste a lot of time only to get disconnected. However, upon calling back the very first person I talked to was very helpful. He had me run slui 4 which prompted for my location and then gave the activation id that
I had to read to him. Next, I was prompted for a confirmation number supplied by him.
After this it showed windows was active, but a few hours later it said once again that I needed to activate. At this time my original product key did in fact work fine for activation. Thanks for the help guys. Ultimately, there doesn't
seem to be an answer for my problem other than letting tech support fix it and hope you get someone that knows what to do when you call.

I called Apple technical support in Denmark, but with no positive reply.
She couldn't do anything, and said that They had sent a recall Email about the problem and with their offer to repair the Macbook Pro, but I'd never recieved an Email about the problem. She wasn't in power to make an exception. It can't be true that i paid a lot of money, for a product that can't barely stand on its own feets, Apple didn't tell me that the product I was about to buy, would restart every 5 minute. and now when they know the problem, they wont repair it? it just don't make sense for me. If a car seller discovers that all the brakes in a car he had sold, will crash after some years he will call all the cars back to repair no mater what. i just don't understand how Apple will make good service for their custumers, by extending the warranty from 2 to 3 years, but wont take the computers there is a little bit to old, 4 months will make the difference. i can't believe it.
What can i do now?

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. When I start Acrobat the related window opens normally but, after some scroll up and down along the document, it blocks, Acrobat doesn't respond to any command I can give and, in place of the pointer arrow, a vertical bar, as the one of the text editor appears. The only way I can stop Acrobat is by means of the task manager. I tried to de-install and the re- install Acrobat but the behaviour is always the same. What can I do??

RReset printing system again and the restart in Safe Mode . This will clear some caches,to do this hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup tone until a progress bar appears, after it has fully booted restart normally and add the printer.

GoLive wirste wohl gar nicht zum laufen kriegen. ohnehin würde man es nicht mehr verwenden, weil es noch nicht mal CSS2 voll unterstützt geschweige denn HTML 5 und andere moderne Webstandards. Wenn überhaupt, dann findeste vielleicht noch 'ne OEM CD von Strato oder 1und1 bei eBay. Die haben das damals mit jedem neuen Hostingvertrag rausgehauen. Aber wie gesagt, es ist den Aufwand nicht wert. Illustrator sollte sich durchaus installieren lassen. Eventuell einfach nochmal die Installer im Win XP Kompatibilitätsmodus laufen lassen...

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I would like to force Safari 3.1.2 to open all PDF links using Adobe Acrobat 7.1.0. How do I accomplish this? I have no problem making Safari use the Adobe Reader, however, I would like to use the full Adobe Program so I can save and download interactive PDF forms I have filled out on the web. Using the Adobe reader, you can only download the form itself - all supplied information using the form's interactive features are lost when the filled in form is downloaded.

Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately, it is not working for me. I have both Adobe Acrobat v. 7.1.0 and Acrobat Reader v. 9.0.0 running on my computer. In either program's preferences both programs are availabe when I choose the program to display PDF files in the browser (Safari). There is no problem setting Safari's PDF handling to the default value.
When I choose Acrobat Reader to be the program to display PDF files in the browser, Safari will indeed use Acrobat Reader. However, when I choose Adobe Acrobat v. 7.1.0, Safari does not use the Adobe Acrobat program to display the PDF file, rather the file is displayed by the PDF handling features built in to Safari. I have found no way to make Safari use the full version of Adobe Acrobat. PDF files residing on my computer opens without difficulty using my copy of Adobe Acrobat v. 7.1.0. Do you have any other ideas that would help solve this problem?

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

You can create a signature appearance:
For example, you can include your scanned signature.
1 (Optional) Save the desired image on a page by itself, and convert the page to PDF.
2 Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Acrobat (Mac OS) > Preferences, and select Security.
3 Click New, and type a title.
4 (Optional) Select Imported Graphic, click File, and select the desired file.
5 Specify options as desired.
