PLEASE HELP !!! Exporting mix to mp3 leads to nothing ?

Hi-
I am a newb to Audition 3.0, but it seems I know just enough to be dangerous. I was hoping I could get some help with an issu I'm having-
I have recorded about five tracks into Audition. I need to "flatten them" and then export the file to an mp3. Whenever I export, the file always comes up empty, in other words, nothing records. Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong. I just exported to a 77mb mp3 that is completely empty. What am I doing g wrong ?

Let's start with the beginning:
- can you hear any sounds at all in AA?
- what did you record, can you hear that in AA, and how did you save it (as wav)
- to export, go to File / Save As, and in the selection box select mp3PRO, and click Save. Do this for each file; as an alternative, you can use batch conversion to convert the files in one process.

Please help me! My mp3 player won't download m4a and m4p fi

I'm trying to download some music from my pc onto my mp3 player, but for some reason it won't download m4a or mp4 files. I brought a load of music from iTunes last night, but they are all m4a/mp4 files. I'm new to mp3 players, please help me!

Actually if you purchase music, all MP3 (Protected - DRM and Unprotected) would work on the Zen. It is only m4a files which needs to be Unprotected-AAC. Like I said, Apple just want to protect their own industry but they are now opening up their market now by selling unprotected AAC at a slightly higher price.
There are places like mp3.com which offers music which you can use.
Alternati'vely, you can purchase music CD and use the provided software to extract the music to transfer to your Zen.Message Edited by eddy2099 on 0-03-200807:6 PM

It is impossible for me to load anything but the CC desktop app.
I can't connect my device to any of the servers ( such as "ccmdld.adobe.com 443", and so on) and no one can tell me how I could fix this.
Normal I'm browsing over VPN, to avoid the school proxy, but even at home, where my internet is faster than the howl School net combined, it didn't work.
Could you Help me?!
The Error-Massage (by "App") is:
"Download failure"
"Try to reinstall"
But ten times install, deinstall, clean and redo is enough!

Which version are you in. Well something you need to look at is that the data is currently loaded into the target on which u have the export datasource.
Also, if you have some lookup then see that has been loaded in that target also.

Please Help Exporting PDF Portfolio and Black Background turns White

I am creating a PDF Portfolio in Adobe InDesign and I created a black background using the steps below. When I export the document into PDF form, the background turns to white.
I followed these steps to make my background black:
"Window>Color>Swatches to bring up the Swatches panel and double-click the Paper swatch. Change the Color Mode to RGB and move the Red, Green, and Blue sliders to 0 to change the swatch to Black. Click OK."
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You misunderstand what paper is for. Paper is quite simply the absense of ink or color.
By changing it, all you've done is show what something will look like printed on black paper. If you really want a black background you'll need to draw a frame, fill it with black and place it on the master page on it's own bottom layer. Lock the layer to prevent any problems.

Please help.. error playing mp3 files in Sony Erricsson SDK 2.2.4

i installed Sony Ericsson SDK 2.2.4 and also installed the software requirements like:
SPOT xde Player,
the script: WindowsXP-Windows2000-Script56-KB917344-x86-enu.exe,
and directx 9.0
i have jdk version 1.5.0
but when i try to run the application named "mmademo", and select the Midlet named "Simle Player", and then select "SEMC mp3 test", it throws this exception "mediaexception: start ".
if it is important the directory of this application is this: C:\SonyEricsson\JavaME_SDK_CLDC\PC_Emulation\WTK2\apps\mmademo
by the way normally the emulator of Sony Ericsson K750 supports mp3 playing on mmapi..
it works fine when i select some other applications like "Simple Ring Tone" playing..
And when i quit the emulator, console screen displays this(even if i run the applications that work correctly):

it is the example code of the Sony Ericsson SDK, i did not write it, plus it works on my desktop computer but i need it to work on my notebook.. it gives the that result(which i explained above) on my notebook computer.. and i cant understand why would a SDK malfunctions (at playing mp3) on my notbook, and runs ok on my desktop, though my desktop is too much older and slower..
can that have something to do with my language properties? because in order to use netbeans i switched the language to english(usa), which was not the original language of my operating system.. i installed the Sony Ericsson SDK after switching to english(usa).

Please help. export .wmv file via QuickTime Conversion

Use FCP HD 4.5 QuickTime Conversion to export a short movie which is about 2 mintues long. I only can get exported files in 30 seconds no matter I selected default format QuickTime Moive or Windows Media. Any thing I missed?
I cleaned all markers on TimeLine, but still same
(I am using Power Mac G5 with OS X 10.4.5).

It means your material is outside of 'safe' levels...luminance, chrominance or both.
Quick fix...apply Broadcast safe filter
Best fix...use Color Corrector 3-way.

Please Help ASAP, i-Pod shows only menu, nothing else

Remeber back to when you first got your iPod, how there was nothing in it. If you selected music or videos (etc) it would lead you to a path of nothing.
I have had my iPod a little over a year and it is doing this to me. My computer is telling me that there is music and videos on it and that it is synced but it will only give me that unfortunate menu of nothing.
Please, I would very much appreciate any help or tips, I have tried Restoring it and Rebooting it, putting it in a different USB port, I even restarted my computer.

Same thing happened to me tonight. I updated 80GB Video iPod to 1.2.2. But I did not update iTunes for Windows. Photos showed up on iPod, but music and video did not (even though iTunes on PC showed the data was there). I thought I was in for a world of trouble before I found your post. I want to major in Photography and have to take a Digital Imaging class. The first project is a Mr. Potato Head body with all the parts (eyes, mouth, hands, etc.) scattered around it. I have to create layers I guess to put the body parts in but have NO idea how to do it! I know how to create a new layer, but I don't know how to put the body parts in the layer or anything! The only thing I've done with Photoshop prior to this is editing photos but have no idea how to do anything else and have always been confused with the layers in Photoshop and never really understood the feature. (This is an online class BTW).
Also, I asked this somewhere else and the person told me that when I selected the part of the image I wanted to put in the new layer, I can select the copy via layer and a new layer is automatically created. However, I can't seem to access that layer when I click on it and it doesn't appear to be locked. Why is this? (The answer is probably something obvious but I'm so new at Photoshop I know pretty much nothing about it!)
If anyone can help me, I would reeeally appreciate it!!!!

For extracting a perticular part you have to create selection for the part and Press Ctrl+J to copy paste in new layer.

Your problem has nothing to do with "viruses." DO NOT install any kind of "anti-virus" software.
First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
One possible cause of a slow user interface is a large number of image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons. If you have more than a dozen or so such files, move them to another folder.
Otherwise, take these steps when you notice the problem.
Step 1
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the icon grid.
Select the CPU tab of the Activity Monitor window.
Select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for % User, % System, and % Idle at the bottom of the window.
Select the System Memory tab. What values are shown in the bottom part of the window for Page outs and Swap used?
Next, select the Disk Activity tab. Post the approximate values shown for Reads in/sec and Writes out/sec (not Reads in and Writes out.)
Step 2
You must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way as above. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Post the 50 or so most recent messages in the log — the text, please, not a screenshot.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into a message.
Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out before posting.

Time Machine Permissions Issue "fetching" Please help!

I did a fresh install of Mavericks and have accessed my time machine many times since then. Tonight I tried to access it as usual, but all of a sudden I cannot access any files.
It says I don't have permission...nothing has changed!? "The folder “Pictures” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents."
I have done ALOT of research, even on these forums, and have tired advice from Lych Davis (I think is his name), but it didn't work. The permission says "fetching".
I have tried to add me in the get info tab....Nothing shows up
I have tried to delete the "fetching" acount....It won't die
I went to my Users and Groups and my Group is, by default, set to "staff."
I tried to "verify disk" in Disk Utitlity..it didn't help.
Please help me...I have done NOTHING different, not even an OSX update since I accessed my TM a few days ago. Please help me.
