The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Store account on your iPhone.
Then restart the device and log in again.

- Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking on Check for Update in your device's Summary page in iTunes.
- Check and verify that you are in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you are on a 3G capable device, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
- Check to make sure you have an active internet connection. You can check the User Guide for your device for help with connecting to the internet.
- Check to make sure other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the internet.
- Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router

thanks for your posting, it just reflects my experience (although I didn't contact the helpdesk, but after what you wrote I think I can skip that part). I am livin in China and buy from the German MS, worked fine until about a week ago when the download of an album stopped just after 5 songs. I have never been able to connect to the shop ever since.
The interesting thing is, that I get a response from their server in the domain phobos.apple.com (phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/storeFront) which I would interpret that there can't be a problem which they always list (Antivirus, Firewall etc...)
So will there ever be somebody from Apple who is going to give a better explanation how to solve the problem ? Or are there already too many people buying iPods and music ??? -
Can You Browse the "App Store" but not be an iPhone Owner?
Not an iPhone user, but could be.
Could be if I saw the quality, selection, level of apps that start to get created for the iPhone. Maybe some will fill needs for me that are keeping me from using the iPhone. For example, maybe someone will make Treo similar apps (todos, memos, Treo similar calendar + notes within calendar, etc) - NOT web apps - and I can stop using my Treo and jump to an iPhone.
BUT, how can I browse the "App Store" as a non iPhone owner and see what they have to offer? Will it not be something seen only in iTunes by iPhone users? or will non iPhone users also see a new "App Store" option in iTunes one day? Or, will there be a dedicated website you can go to besides seeing them via iTunes?IF it is going to be viewable by anyone with iTunes, iPhone user or not...
would you be able to see it from my current 'stable' version of iTunes - in my case 7.1.1
or would you have to upgrade to iTunes 7.6? -
Ipad Can get in the app store but when I go to my app updates it cannot connect to iTunes store
Just a few days ago after updating my iTunes. I went onto my iPad app store to check for updates. There where no updates available also, saying cannot connect to iTunes store. I have gone to apple support and cannot find a way to fix this problem. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

I changed the name of my apple id and now I can't use the app store on my phone correctly because it's using my apple id's old name. I signed out and in on itunes and synced my iphone. Still doesn't work. Help please?
Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with. -
Do you know of an app like a weekly planner / diary that I can see and edit in my phone and my boyfriend can on his? Been looking on the app store but can't seem to find one! Please help!

After upgrading to Yosemite I have lost iPhoto. It has a cross through it in Finder, but I clicked on it and I was directed to download the latest version from the App store, but it is not available in the Australian store. Can anyone please help? I am not an advanced user and I would like my photos back, having had no idea I would lose iPhoto in the upgrade!
Thanks petermac87...but for some reason, the only purchases showing are OS. So assuming iPhoto is in Mountain Lion, I was hoping to look under Hidden Items there as you suggested, but there is no option for that. Only option is to download Mountain Lion again, not iPhoto specifically. Any ideas welcome!

About 1 year ago, I can not access the App Store. The message that appears is: "One Moment Please. Connecting to the iTunes Store. Loading ... " I've tried all the aids presented in this and other forums and nothing solves. iTunes connects normaly...
Your profile indicates your Mac is running v10.7.2
If that is correct, updating your system software may help.
Click Software Update from the Apple menu.
Restart your Mac after updates are installed then try the App Store.
If you can't update that way, there's a workaround.
Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac and try the App Store.

It looks like the app is not currently in the App Store, I can't find it in the UK nor US stores.
If you had previously downloaded it then do you have a copy on your computer's iTunes so that you can sync it to your iPad ? -
I need help please. I have 6 apps updates shown on on the upper right corner of the app store icon. When i tried to open the apps store and go to updates, the apps that need to be updated were not appearing therefore i have no idea what those apps are so that i can update them. I use iphone5, I see an app update on the app store. but when App store and click on the update tab, it doesn't show me which application to update.. just gives me a blank page.!!!! I wouldn't able to know what app has to be updated, untill and unless i get check for each every app on the app store installed on my iphone... what is the solution for this.!!!! can any1 one help me out.!!!!

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh. -

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.

At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test. -
How can I get the App store to use money in my account rather than a credit card when I want to buy something?
The iTunes/Mac App Stores use credit on an account first. You are asked to supply an additional payment method when the cash credit doesn't cover the complete cost of the purchase.

I've been given a Macbook Air as a gift (with OS 10.7.5). Garageband is missing and I can't dl the app store version because apparently my OS is too old. Help??
Try to by an iLife '11 installation DVD - perhaps you can find it at Amazon or eBay.
Or try to update the MacOS X version of your MacBook Air to MacOS X 10.9 Mavericks. If your MBA qualifies for the Mavericks update, you should be able to buy GarageBand 10.0 from he AppStore.
