Please help, im desperate

I recently used the ipod updater to restore my ipod. Unfortunately, it got unplugged when it said "do not dissconnect". Now my itunes and computer are not recognizing that my ipod is plugged in or exists. When i plug it in it just gives me the same "do not dissconnect" message.
What do I do!? I seem to have tried EVERYTHING. I will love you forever if you can help, pleaseeee =]]

Try formatting your iPod via "Control Panel" (I hope this will work for you):
Open Control Panel.
Click the "switch to classic view" link, if necessary.
Double click "administrative tools".
Double click "computer management".
Under "storage" click on "disk management".
Find your iPod's listing.
Right-click on it and click "format".
Select "FAT32" and start the format.
See if your iPod will be recognized by your computer now.
If your iPod is showing up in "My Computer", then check this out; format your iPod via "My Computer":
Go to "My Computer".
Right-click your iPod there.
Click on "Format".
Does the iPod format correctly? Check if it works after this.
I especially recommend doing the first thing (if your iPod is in "Control Panel). If that didn't work, since your iPod didn't show up there, try this, then the formatting via "Control Panel" again:
Reset your iPod (hold menu and center buttons together for 7 seconds).
Then follow the instructions here to put your iPod into disk mode--Putting your iPod into disk mode.

Clean install of 10.5 disk hangs w/9 minutes to go. Please help. Desperate.

I'm wiping my hard drive clean and re-installing 10.5, from the disk. I put the disk in, told it to do exactly that, started the run, and it told me it would take about one hour. It ran just fine until it got to "about 9 minutes" -- and it's been there for five hours now. I'm at my wit's end. I've sold this machine and promised the buyer a clean install of the OS; he's coming to pick it up tomorrow.

I chose "Quit Mac OS X Installer," but it won't quit. I can't just turn the computer off, because I'll never be able to get the DVD drive open again once it's off. I don't think the OS X 10.5 disk is bootable, or I'd press the power key to shut down, hold down the "C" key, and power up again.

i have a mysql database on a server and i have a dynamic
table that shows its content.
i have also added an Insert Form ( created with the insert
form wizard) that i want to use to update my db.
My problem is that i want to add a captcha to it.
the first part of reCaptcha (wich i want to implement) is :

PLEASE HELP? Desperate, I can't get the iPod to Restore!!

In desperation, I want to restore my ipod, as nothing else I have tried has worked.
I cannot get to that step. I have done everything I am supposed to, going by Apple's list, and nothing has worked.
I have uninstalled iTunes, and reinstalled. I have gone down their list, and nothing is working, the updater won't recognize that the ipod is connected, even though it is, and is showing up in Windows.

Have you tried dropping your Ipod? I read it on these forums and decided to try it myself. I dropped it 3 times from waist height onto a carpet. It has worked fine since.

It will not remember multiple choice answers that you have to click to choose. If they are the kind of answers you have to click, please use a screenshot addon to take a picture of each page of your test after you have filled in your answers.

I set up my new iPad under my daughters ID because her's is attached to my email. Tried to rent a movie from iTunes. Said I had to answer security questions since it was my first purchase. She didn't remember the answers. So it locked. She reset her password and everything works on her iPad but on mine it still wanting answers to the security questions and we don't have the answers (her questions could have multiple answers...favorite teacher, favorite friend). Providing you know your ID and password, you should be able to rewrite your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > password & security.

PLEASE HELP! DESPERATE!

Working on an older G5, FCP 5.0.1, media on an external Iomega 750gig with plenty of available space. 1.2 gigs freespace on the hard drive of the G5, running Leopard. All was well until this evening when I got several 'out of memory free up memory' errors. I deleted a couple of enormous movie files which I figured were choking the project (its 85.3 mb in size at this point). I rebooted, reloaded the saved project. Now NONE of the sequences will even open. Not even a new sequence will open. YIKES.
I created a new project and copied a sequence to it. It won't open. I created a new sequence in the new project. It wont open.
So I tried to reopen an archived project. Same problem. I can open the projects (tried several auto saved even) but can't open any sequences AT ALL. I've recently run utilities on my entire computer.
This has now become a serious emergency. My backup projects wont open either. What the heck? I can't afford to lose an entire week of work let alone an entire movie. I'm going to be up all night with this, I'm afraid. (we have a screening in the morning) any help will be much appreciated.

Warning Will Robinson! Get in there and free up a lot more space on your internal drive ... OS X regularly uses the system disk as swap space for virtual memory and when you run it short of available space it has even been known to overwrite and / or corrupt its own files. Try to keep at least 20% of the disk empty, you're OS will be much happier and you'll get better all round performance. When you have freed up some space then boot your Mac up in Safe Boot (which runs a full disk directory check and repair) ... to do that, restart your mac then hold the Shift key down when you hear the startup chime and keep it held down until you see the spinning gear sprocket animation. Let it boot up (its slow so have a cup of tea whilst you wait) and when its booted up and you've logged in then go ahead and repair your disk permissions (using /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility). Now reboot normally.
See if FCE is happier now ...

'Access denied' when attempting to build/burn DVD, please help, urgent/desperate!

Recently bought CS3, overjoyed with most of it. Encore is giving me serious trouble though at the moment! The problem is that it simply will not burn to a dual layer disc! When we try to burn it to disc it begins the process, wizzing through different elements, then when it gets to 'sorting files'it stops with the message 'Access Denied' If we split the Wedding video in half it will burn to a standard DVD, but it will not burn to dual layer.We installed an additional, external writer in case the problem was with the hardware, but again it would not burn to dual layer. We attempted to build the dvd as an 'image' to the harddrive to then burn to dual layer through nero. This worked for a much smaller file, but when we tried to burn the larger file to the harddrive as an Image, 'Access Denied'!! We've tried everything we can think of, ...but if anyone else can think of a way to fix this, please let us know as we are in the final stages of the video project for a client and simply cannot get the project onto disc! When we 'check project', there are no errors listed. We've tried transcoding it to 7gb 1pass, and importing it from Premire pro without transcoding it, thereby letting Encore set the settings, but no joy. Thanks, Justin.

Rather than disabling UAC (or turning it down in Win7), just run Encore as Administrator. Right-click, and select Run As Administrator. Works fine for me in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Doing it this way you still get the benefits of UAC.

Please Help, Getting Desperate...

I have the old 15-GB ipod that I got for a gift 2 years ago. A few days ago I was playing it using a car adaptor while charging it as well. Out of nowhere my ipod stops, freezes, then turns off showing only a line on the LCD screen for about 30 minutes. After that the screen has become blank. I have tried to reset and charge the ipod numerous times only to have nothing still show up on the LCD screen. I've also tried to plug it into my computer and nothing was detected despite downloading all the new updates and the newest version of i-tunes. Does anybody have any tips or experiences of this happening? A dead battery perhaps? Please let me in on some info. Thanks!

Given the age of the iPod, I would suspect the battery has at last died.

Alright, accepted. Here's the thing, it was very difficult to

you'll find that the operating code is far less complex than that
which you had been trying to force into functioning, and requires
very few variables, and loops the panning between the two images.
this script can be modified to accomidate more images or use the
speed of the mouse movement as a ratio to effect the speed of the
tween, or any number of other effects. The codes you previously had
on the p1 and p2 MCs have been stripped out, as well as the
'symbol(s)', all of which are not necessary. I haven't done any
testing as to scaling the swf in a html doc, but if you set this
publish settings up correctly it should scale to the right size
without have to use the onResize method. so here's the file:

Weird screen please help really desperate

I recently plugged my i pod touch in and wen i got back it had this weird screen that i cannot change and therefore cant do all that this amazing device offers... this screen is the white usb portion of the charger cable that u plug into the computer goin up and then the itunes symbol thank you for your effort!!!

Actually the screen you are seeing is telling you that you must connect to iTunes to restore your touch. Since you are getting and error when you try to connect, you need to look at your computer and see if it is running Apple Mobile Device Services (this handles the communication between the iPod and iTunes). Help syncing my new ipod - error message - please help

Hi I am needing advice and help.
I have a full library full of songs. I had always been able to sync my old ipod with all my library songs.
I have just purchased a new ipod and tried to plug in the new ipod to load all my library songs on to my new ipod, but only a few artists are getting loaded - only artists that start with a & b is going across. I get an error message when trying to sync the songs on to my new ipod.
The message I get 'attempting to copy to disk'new ipod' failed. An unknown error occured(-69)'
I am wondering step by step and in detail how I can make sure that all my songs from the library are on my new ipod. only a few artists are transferring across.
The thing is my old ipod when syncing is fine and all songs go across! no problem at all. I still have to charge the old ipod as its still in use and it is the same ipod that of my new ipod - the 30gb video 5th generation.
It is very fustrating as I have given my partner the other ipod so they still have full songs when they plug in to sync and when I plug in to sync I only get a & b only, we both use the same computer, same model ipod, same library and my ipod doesnt sync so i dont know why?
Please please help. I really need very detailed and step by step instructions of how to sync the new ipod and make sure all the songs of my library are on my new ipod.

Lost installation disk elements 9 and need to reinstall. please help!!

I brought adobe photoshop elements 9 in May 2011, installed in onto my laptop with good intentions to use it but no idea how to. Repair permissions and restart your computer. If this does not work, zap the pram. You should now see your external hard drive.

PLEASE HELP ME! WIFi troubles and i am desperate

2-3 days ago my phone was working fine, i dont use a data plan i always use wifi, my house has wifi, whereever i go i use wifi. I left my phone charging when i got back it started acting strange, i could no longer receive bbm messages, i tried msn and it says 'no data service available'.....the status of my wifi connection is on yellow, but with all this the name of the network is at the top of my screen plus i can use my opera mini to browse and also the default blackberry browser, but nothing else works with the wifi.
I have used desktp manager to erase and reinstall, i have upgraded, i have restarted, i have tried tweaking settings, options that were there before are gone for example, ota upgrade..... i have checked module its getting signal, i am lost, i am desperate and i am getting really sad because i really really need this phone to work, please help me please anyone.....someone.....

I "suspect" that since your Data Plan is on another carrier, and you have roaming turned off, the network is not seeing the device has having a BIS plan. That is my guess.
Further, the fact that it worked before doesn't really matter, since there are several factors which come into play, such as ALL of the BIS data services are enabled by Service Books pushed to your device.For example, BBMessenger is enabled by Service Book, much as email accounts, etc. You could have had the service book required for quite a while since you've been travelling. As much as rebooting the device, and the device seeing it is not connected to a BIS data plan, could remove that service book, since there is no BIS plan.
Even further, your browser, set to HotSpot browser should indeed work with WiFi only and no BIS service... for example, I have next to me a Bold 9000 with NO SIM in the device, at all. I can use the browser to go to most any site, works great, using only WiFi.
