Please help me diagnose my computer! I'm getting quite desperate...

Hello, I've had my macbook pro (snow leopard) for 2 years now. I rarely download anything on it, nor do I save files other then school documents and pictures. I had 230GB out of 256 GB still remaining.
Everything was going smoothly, when quite suddenly, my computer started beachballing. I noticed that this happened when I was watching a youtube video that was an hour long, but I kept it playing on repeat (it was a video of "white noise" to help me study). It beachballed a couple of times during this session, but at some point my computer was lagging hard so I exited. The problem is, from this point on, my computer still beachballs. Sometimes it will work smoothly, but it's only a matter of time until it lags again. This problem is NOT safari specific. Even if safari is completely closed, it will beachball. I can move my mouse, but I won't be able to click anything or even force quit an application due to the lag.
Other things to mention: Repairing disk permissions doesn't solve it, neither does resetting PRAM. Often times I have to force shut down because my computer may be completely unresponsive, and when this happens, the fan gos nuts. Sometimes when I turn my computer on, I'm stuck at the grey screen, and I have to force shut down again.
One other important thing I do want to mention is that I tried to reinstall mac osx with the original CD. I clicked Macintosh HD (the only partition), and clicked erase. I tried installing it 2 times. For both times it took around 5 hours, and in the end it said it couldn't install. So I redid it one last time by following these instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3910. It still won't let me install!
Can someone help me please? Badly need to study for exams and I'm upset that my new [expensive] computer won't work!

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."

4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

Did you get any help on this? From what I can see from surfing this site, it's a BUG that no one has offered a solution to. It sometimes happens after a 'reset' and going to ITunes does not offer a way to 'set up push notifications'.

Since this is SQL Server forum, as other post, you need to describe your table structure, the data and expected results. Then it is appropriate and more experts will assist you in there.
According to your code message, it does not regards SQL Server T-SQL statement. We need to verify if there are two tables (workhrs and I_db_hrs), after checking the values of “ Monday”,”Tuesday”,”Wednesday” from the workhrs table, then copy the related working
hours into the new table (I_db_hrs), right?

Welcome to the Apple community Dieumai.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I have had this ipod for forever and I want all the music to show up on my new computer but everytime I connect it says my only options are to sync and erase everything or only transfer the music that was bought on the itunes store which isn't alot since like I said most is from CD's that I don't have anymore. Please Help!!! Computer shut down now everything is gone!!!!!

My computer has been acting funny for a few weeks, and due to a faulty power cord has shut down on me with out properly logging off. Yesterday, it shut down for no reason, and when I went to restart it, everything was gone. Its as if my computer is new again. Nothing is in my dock. All of my pictures, music, documents, etc. are gone. Is there any way that I can retrieve them??? I am mainly worried about my pictures, as there are a lot of them that can't be replaced and no one else has. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

In Hard Drive > Users: is there more than just your Home folder displayed?
Possibly one you are not familiar with?
Other than this issue, is the system functioning properly?
What size is the Hard Drive, and how much space is available?
Have you run Repair Disk?
THESE ARE THE STEPS FOR USING DISK UTILITY TO REPAIR YOUR HD
1.Insert the System Install disk, Mac OS X CD-ROM disk, or Restore DVD disk, then restart the computer while holding the C key. Use the System disk, of the OS, that is currently installed.
2.Once started up from CD or DVD, on the Menubar at the top of the screen, choose Disk Utility from the Installer contextual menu.
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from disc to access Disk Utility.
3.Click the First Aid tab.
4.Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5.Select your Mac OS X volume, if necessary.
6.Click Repair. If DU reports errors it has fixed, re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported.
7.Repeat steps 5 & 6, but select the Hard Drive this time. It's usually the first listed with the manufacturer's model number. Make note of the S.M.A.R.T. status.
8.When finished, select Quit Disk Utility from the Installer menu.
9.Select Quit Installer from the Installer menu.
10.In the resulting pop-up window, choose restart.
11.After the computer has restarted, you can eject the CD.

Please Help!! My computer crashed this aft. When I rebooted, I cannot find

my ITUNES library anywhere. 20,000 songs gone. The desktop logo is still there. A message comes up saying that the itunes folder cannot be found. And tells me to look in a default location called MY MUSIC. cant find that either. Please help. Jeff

I downloaded and ran the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool. It showed no files to remove, but still said it was successful. I then tried reinstalling the entire suite. Acrobat 8 Professional was the only program that installed. All other programs gave me a componant failed error. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated?!

Please help me open itunes! This is getting ridiculous.

This is the third time I've posted this... no one has answered so far... and I've been without iTunes for over a week now!!!
When trying to open iTunes, a dialog box opens up with the caption "*iTunes Setup Assistant*", and header line "*Download Album Artwork*" which tells me how I can go to the iTunes store and get album artwork from there.
Included in this dialog box are two buttons to choose from: "Next" and "Cancel". I have tried clicking on both of these, to no avail. Nothing happens at all, and I cannot close down the box with the "x" in the top left hand corner either.
After a short while (and a whirrring noise from my frozen laptop), another smaller dialog box opens up with the caption: "*Upgrade Available*", detailing: "*A new version of the Qloud plug-in for iTunes (3.0.1090) is available. Click OK to upgrade*". I am offered two buttons: "OK" and "Cancel". Nothing happens when I click on either of these buttons, except that annoying "blink" sound that means 'nothing doing'.
The dialog box appears in front of every window, and cannot be moved out of the way. The only way to close it is to "End Task" through the Windows Task Manager.
iTunes will not open even after re-booting! Reluctantly, I removed the iTunes and the Quick Time programs from the computer, rebooted, and re-installed iTunes, but the bug is STILL there. I've repeated this, pointlessly, about three or four times. The same thing still happens. It's really upsetting not to be able to open my iTunes library, or update my iPod!
Please help!

What version of the Mac operating system is installed on your MacBook? To find this information, go to the Apple menu, select About this Mac and look where it says version.
iTunes 11.0.1 requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later, so if you want to use your iPhone with your MacBook, you will need to update the OS on the MacBook at least that far.
You can purchase 10.6.8 on disk from Apple for $20 (in the USA.)
If you want to get a more recent OS, let us know what the specs on your MacBook are, we'll tell you what you can get.

The thread running through your explanation has to do with connectivity to your server. (iCloud out of the blue asking for password, unable to message your boyfriend, unable to access e-mail). You said that you boyfriend restart his device and then the two of you were able to then imessage. My best advice for you would be to go to settings to reset to reset network settings. Once this has been done you then will need to enter the name and password of your wifi. ONce this is done you then can attempt to check to see that all passwords are enter correctly.

that can populate the values stored in a table. I
guess u must have used that approach too.
But why to make the things complicated when they can
be done in an easier manner.
The author seems to be a beginner and telling him to

what do u say?I believe it is best to start with a proper approach than finding quick solutions. Of course, JSTL sql tags allow you to execute queries within the JSP but they look cleaner in code.
Certainly, if the OP is a beginner in JSP (presuming that he has some background of core Java and OOP), I don't see any reason why there should not be a separate class with a well-defined responsibility. This will help the OP develop a thinking towards designing a good solution rather than simply patching in bits of procedural code to get the job done. There is a difference in doing something and doing in properly. :)
I suppose I am a little wary since I have been working too long maintaining code developed by others. A simple change in the requirement needs a lot of impact on several components.

Ok so it has now officially been SIX months since I placed an order for broadband (just normal ADSL broadband, not fancy fibre optic) and I still have NOTHING!
Over the last couple of months, I have been in touch with a lovely lady from the 'BT Order Management' team based in Dundee, who has been calling me every so often with an update. But now these calls and updates have stopped, I can't get in touch anyone at BT who can help me and I am getting to the end of my tether.
BT are blaming it on Openreach - apparently underground work needs to be done, clearing blockages, laying cables etc. but I don't understand why it is taking so long when plenty of my neighbours are getting connected and even upgraded to fibre.
To top it all off BT keeping take money from my account to pay for the non-existing service which should have been in place in July. I was told I would be refunded nearly a month ago but still no refund.
Someone PLEASE help me...I can't even put into words how frustrating the whole situation is.
