Are you able to receive any mail at all? If not, make sure that all of your information for mail is accurate in settings again. if you still have nothing, go to your email through safari. (example: www.yahoo.com) If you do not see the emails here either, it is a problem with the password reset server not your mail app.

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.

- If not shown/or off-line, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

'm trying to transfer the music from my iPhone 3G to my iPod shuffle using iTunes but I don't know how. I checked on websites but i dont really trust them cause I don't want all my music to be erased (cause i spent a lot of money on them) can someone PLEASE help me. Why is iTunes so complicated.

Whem i'm doing the backup it automaticaly saves contacts.....because i've synced with another computer and it deleted all my contacts...and i really need them!!!!!
If you haven't been using your phone as recommended, then you've lost all your contacts. Contacts should be synched to your computer (Address Book, Outlook) or a cloud service (MobileMe, Google) for safekeeping. The iPhone was never intended to be a storage device.
If you haven't been using your phone as recommended and synching your contacts as above, frankly, you've no one to blame for your loss of data but yourself.
On that topic, are you making regular backups of your computer's data as well? Hard drives WILL fail. -

Attempting to install iTunes Version 10.5 and getting Invalid Signature. Can someone please help???
I am attempting to install iTunes Version 10.5. I am getting the following messages...
"Files shared by these updates" has an invalid signature. It will not be installed.
"iTunes" has an invalid signature. It will not be installed.
"Safari 5" has an invalid signature. It will not be installed.
I somehow got around this annoying "invalid signature" problem before by installing the iTunes update through the Apple site.

When I tried that, now I get...
"The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured. Errors occurred during installation. Your system has not been modified. Please run the installer again, or click Finish to Exit"
All this to get the latest iPhone software. And every blessed time I go to Sync my iPhone, I run into iTunes issue on my Dell PC here. I guess PC and Mac just cannot play well together.

PSULionRPHi. I also had this problem when trying to connect a new iPhone 4S & it needed iTunes 10.5. Went to the Apple website as update section of iTunes was not getting any luck - went to downloads section of Apple website & downloaded the whole iTunes 10.5 program as though I did not have it in the first place (& also downloaded the programs for Quicktime 7.7.1 & Safari 4.0.3) ie not just the upgrades. I created a restore point in my Windows XP in case it all went pear shaped & then went ahead & installed all 3 programs. Opened iTunes at the end & all my music, apps, movies were all still there & now the new iPhone 4S works perfectly with the iTunes. Hope this helps.

I cannot export to pdf from Indesign... I export and then nothing happens. Can someone please help?
Indesign worked well for a long time. Then recently, after I and to reset my computer to an earlier time, Indesign stopped letting me export to PDF. I get no error message. It is just that nothing happens after I export it. I have some major deadlines for printin and am desperate for help. I emailed the Indesign file to someone else and they were able to export it and create a PDF.
I look forward to any suggestions. I would gladly pay someone if they can get it to work again.@ (peterfrommaine)-peter – since you use InDesign CS5.5, be aware that there is a bug (at least up to version 7.5.2) with PDF export with books that could mess up your page numbers. You are not affected, because you printed to PDF (that is the "print-PostScript-distill-to-PDF" way).
