Write a program that continues to accept a movie name (a max
of 30 characters), its ticketing capacity, and the number of the tickets sold
until the user indicates to stop. The program should display the column
headings given below, the movie name, ticketing capacity, number of tickets
sold, and number of seats available.
Sample Input and Output:
Enter a movie name: Blood Diamond
Enter its ticketing capacity: 500
Enter number of the tickets sold: 492
Additional data (Y/N)? Y
Enter a movie name: Shooter

I am trying to make the configuration of some sound applications I have written easier, but I am getting lost in the very sparse documentation of the ALSA API. What I am trying to do is to get my apps (for ham radio digital modes) to set up the sound card for capture, but I just can't figure out what mixer functions to use to specify capture source. amixer gives me the following info on the capture source I want to use:
Simple mixer control 'Capture',0
Capabilities: cvolume cswitch penum
Capture channels: Front Left - Front Right
Limits: Capture 0 - 46
Front Left: Capture 46 [100%] [30.00dB] [on]
Front Right: Capture 46 [100%] [30.00dB] [on]

My problem is how to specify 'Capture'/'Input Source'/'Line' as the input source of the audio from the receiver, so that the signal can be decoded. I have code to specify 'Capture' as the capture source, but how to I select 'Input Source'/'Line' specifically? So far I use xfce4-mixer to do this, but trying to understand its source code is as hard as understanding the ALSA API.
Any hints gretefully welcome ......

I now use the borland compiler, after I had trouble with DJGPP. And I integrated it into a my favorite editor.
The editor I use is [url http://home.t-online.de/home/Jens.Altmann/jfe_eng.htm]JFE, you can set up "Tools" (compilers, etc), syntax coloring, auto-indent, line numbers, and it will recognize the syntax of error messages from certain compilers, enabling you to double-click the error to go straight there.

I am afraid there is no solution.
PowerPC refers to the processing chip used by Apple before they transferred to Intel chips. They are very different, and applications written only for PPC Macs cannot work on a Mac running Lion.
You could contact the developers to see if they have an updated version in the pipeline.

ASk in the DW firum and be much more specific. Web page rendering issues are specific to specific versions of browsers and you may simply be using some bad code that messes up your page.

Hi Vishal,
I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.
1) It is definitely possible to preload data to the 32MB memory (per group) and start the acquisition after you have preloaded the memory. There are example programs on ni.com/support under Example Code for pattern generation and the 6534 that demonstrate which functions to use for this. Also, if your PC memory buffer is less than 32MB, it will automatically be loaded to the card. If you are in continuous mode however, you can choose to loop using the on-board memory or you can constantly be reading the PC memory buffer as you update it with your application environment.
2) Yes, your data will automatically be loaded into the card's onboard memory. It will however be transferred as quickly as possible to the DMA FIFO on the card and then transferred to the PC memory buffer through DMA. It is not going to wait until the whole onboard memory is filled before it transfers. It will transfer throughout the acquisition process.
3) Vishal, searching the example programs will give you many of the details of programming this type of application. I don't know you application software so I can't give you the exact functions but it is easiest to look at the examples on the net (or the shipping examples with your software). Now if you are acquiring 512 bytes of data, you will start to fill your onboard memory and at the same time, data will be sent to the DMA FIFO. When the FIFO is ready to send data to the PC memory buffer, it will (the exact algorithm is dependent on many things regarding how large the DMA packet is etc.).
4) If I understand you correctly, you want to know if you waste the other 6 bits if you only need to acquire on 10 lines. The answer to this is Yes. Although you are only acquiring 10 bits, it is acquired as a complete word (16bits) and packed and sent using DMA. You application software (NI-DAQ driver) will filter out the last 6 bits of non-data.
Hope that answers your questions. Once again, the example code on the NI site is a great place to start this type of project. Have a good day.

Am using Photoshop Elements 8 and trying to make a slideshow. Have tried 4 times now and keep ending up with same problem, cannot reopen project to continue edititing. Won't show up in orginizer and when I find on harddrive and try to open get message " wmv file cannot be opened". How can I save a
slideshow inprogress and be able to reopen and continue to edit and make slideshow? I want to thank anyone who can help me with this in advance as I
have gotten so frustrated that I want to just scream.

question? I am trying to add audio to slideshow. I have some music I purchased thru amazon as mp3 files but I get
message no codec and when I try to add wmv I get same message. What type of file do I need and how can I add
multiple songs to one slideshow. I have one little wmv file that will go in, but it just replicates itself multiple times until
it fills slide show.

You need to save the slideshow project in order to be able to go back later and make changes or additions to an existing slideshow . The wmv file is a final output format.
Now you are most probably using only the Output command: that is what makes the wmv file.
You should also do the Save Project command. (and I make it a practice to do the Save Project command before I do the Output command).
If you look at the Elements Organizer 8 Help, there is a topic on "Create a slide show".
-- Very close to the beginning of that topic is a screen shot of the Sldie Show Editor screen,
-- The bar below the usual menu bar is labeled with a "B" and called the Shortcuts bar.
-- The 1st entry on that Shortcuts bar is "Save Project"
It is the Save Project command that saves the information about which photos, audio, etc you placed in that specific slide show so that you can come back again to do subsequent editing. Save each Project with a unique name.
After completing the Save Project command, you shoud see an "icon" in the Organizer for that slide show.
Note: you must also keep the photo files and audio files which you have used in this slide show: you can't delete them because the project file does NOT contain a copy of the photos, it only has the identification and folder location of the photo and audio files.

-I created a UML model with Papyrus tool and I applied MARTE profile to this UML model.
-Then, I applied <<PaStep>> stereotype to an AcceptEventAction ( which is one of the element that I created in this model ), and set the extOpDemand property of the stereotype to 2.7 with Papyrus.
-Now In the ETL file, I can find the stereotype property of extOpDemand as follows :
s.attribute.selectOne(a|a.name="extOpDemand") , where s is a variable of type Stereotype.
-However I can't access the value 2.7 of the extOpDemand attribute of the <<PaStep>> Stereotype. How do I do that ?

There are two folders inside MinimalExample folder, the one which is called MinimalExample has 4 files, model.uml , lqn.model, uml2lqn.etl and MinimalExampleTransformation.launch.
The other folder which is LQN has four files. (.project),LQN.emf,LQN.ecore and untitled.model which is an example model conforming to the LQN metamodel to see how the model looks like.

Not sure what you expect. Your URL is absolute and pointing to a local file resource. It's not a proper relative HTML link. Beyond that it's toatlly unclear how you actually plan to load your image and where they are hosted, so nobody can tell you anything. Either way, there is an obviously painful lack of understanding of even the most basic web techniques, so the best advise anyone would give you is to spend some time with a web search and actualyl learn some of that stuff...
