Please somebody out there must know , bought storage on icloud thinking was same cloud on xbox , receipt says i can cancel in 15 days money back but not how to do it , no link for that , just going around in circles , they ask for serial no,dont have?

Hello all those smarter than me ! help , please , purchased icloud storage thinking could use on xbox cloud storage , receipt says can cancel and refund in 15 days
but no link for that option , have been going around in support circles that just dont help , they ask for serial numbers , i dont own an apple device , sorry to shock, will change from android next time ok,its only $21 so its more the satisfaction of getting through the maze , anybody ???

You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade but only within 15 days of buying:
Apple seem to have made this as difficult as possible. You may be able to do this using http://expresslane.apple.com - Click on 'More products and services', then 'iCloud', 'Account and setup' then 'This topic is not listed'. Explain the situation in the box provided and wait for a response - include a phone number. However you may find you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare.
In that event you will need to phone them directly, using the Apple Online Store number given at the bottom of this page. The first person you speak to may tell you to do it from the iCloud website but this is not possible. Politely insist on escalating the issue to a more senior person and eventually you should be able to get through to someone who can deal with this (you may have to wait for them to call you back) - you will be asked security questions and for part of your credit card number to identify yourself.
If it is more than 15 days since you purchased the storage you cannot cancel it for a refund; you can downgrade your plan as from your next renewal date. Please see

    Cant find the place on the web sight to authorize my computer.  Why is it so difficult?  Keep going around in circles. Where is the menu for that option?

    Open itunes.
    Click the word Store at the top of your computer screen, then click Authorize
    If you do not have the menu bar, then click Control -B

    Hold down the home button and power button until you see the Apple logo and that will reboot it.

    You must set the account using a Mac or an iPad/iPhone, it may not be setup using a PC.

    Is there a Restore feature on the Installation DVD?
    Yes, but you don't need to do that. There must have been an update to Disk Utility between the initial release of Leopard and 10.5.2. Which means you need to apply the update through Pacifist in order for it to work correctly. But that needs to be done a particular way itself. Follow these steps.
    1) Delete your non functioning copy of Disk Utility from the hard drive.
    2) Use Pacifist to install Disk Utility from the original Leopard disk. Don't just drag it out of the Pacifist window, use the Install button at the upper left.
    3) Close the window for the original Leopard disk without closing Pacifist.
    4) Drag and drop the 10.5.2 Combo updater package onto Pacifist. Extract the package file from the combo .dmg download first if necessary.
    5) Locate Disk Utility and and click the Install button in Pacifist.
    6) Here's the important part. Pacifist will inform you that Disk Utility already exists and gives you a few choices what to do. Make sure to choose "Update". That will install only the updated components between the original disks and the updater.
    That should do it.

    After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
    Copy QTMovieWin.dll from:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
    And that did the trick.

    3 If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    4  Try on another computer                            
    5  If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Hi there! Yesterday, I installed Mavericks on my Macbook. Since then, it doesn't recognize my external hard disk drive anymore (at least not on the desktop. In Germany they call it "it doens't mount it". I don't know if it's the same expression in english?)
    I just used it a week ago, before I did the update and it worked perfectly fine.
    Is there anyone out there who knows a solution for this problem? I've been googleing for hours now and can't find any answer.

    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

    Look in your Applications folder for the new version.
    Remove the old icon from the Dock and drag down the new one for ease of use.
