Podcast approval time

I just submitted a podcast for the first time. What is a benchmark for how long it will take before I know if it was approved or not? Just curious what the average is.

I can't answer from experience - mine went up three years ago and I don't remember how long it took - but the assessment process is manual, and there are an awful lot of podcast out there, so I wouldn't be surprised if it took a couple of weeks at a guess.

Podcast Approval times (waiting in limbo)

I have created a new podcast and have about 8 Episodes now. I use soundcloud.com to host my content and well as the rss feed link.
I have submitted my podcast to iTunes over a month ago. I have not got any word back about my approval status.
I have looked on line for answers, and have tried to contact support directly (email said i'd receive a response in 48 hours, that was a week ago.)
Can some one help me out, what more can I do? Is the approval process really over a month long wait?

Your podcast will have been rejected, though you should have received an email telling you so.
The issue is the podcast image: it is 1400 x 1400 px as specified, but it is also 1.2MB. This is far too large - it must be less than 500kB. You need to remake the image with more compression to get the file size down, then resubmit.
When you do so you may fall over a bug in the system which will tell you the feed has already been submitted. If this happens you will need to change the title slightly (you can change it back once accepted).
Make sure that any emails from the Store are coming to a functioning email address and are not getting spam-trapped.

How quickly to get a podcast approved?

What kind of time frame does it take to get a podcast approved? Is it hours, days, weeks, etc... It is my first podcast and the client it hoping to have it out there within 3 days and I would like to let him know if that is even reasonable.

If it's an audio podcast then you can eithet stop it (via the pause) control in the iPod app, or you can use the audio controls on the taskar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and there should be rewind, play/pause, and forward icons.

iTunes loses my entire library with artwork, playlists and podcasts every time I close the program. Upon restarting it takes at least 15 minutes to rebuild the library and podcasts and a lot longer to replace the artwork, I also lose playlists. I would really welcome some feedback and assistance here and am losing faith in the Apple product. Since iTunes has been updated to version 11 it seems to have caused a lot of issues for many people. I am hopeful of a reply and a resolution. I have approx. 1200 albums at just under 90 Gb. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ditch AVG (at this stage it really does seem to be the problem for some people) and install Microsoft Security Essentials...

To change the default value in approval column of Approve time data view

Approve working times in MSS
For a manager:
Approval view in approve time data iview has a column with name approval. The value is defaulted to approve all. Can any one let me know how to change this value.
Or point me to any documentation which will be of help with this.

Error while approving time - Portal crashes or hangs up

Hello,
We have this one end user who approves time for a lot of people (>150). When trying to approve time as this user, portal crashes or hangs up. This user has approximately 5000 individual items combined that user needs to approve
Steps
1) Click on "Time to be approved" in MSS - PASS
2) A screen pops up and after about 7 minutes or so, user gets time to be approved for each employee by week. - PASS
3) User will then click on "Review" button at the bottom of the pop -up.
4) The individual item screen that shows time for each day where user can approve or reject is not coming up. Browser basically crashes or just hangs up.
Any ideas or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

It seems like this user may be approving time not as a supervisor but more as an HR payroll/personnel type of person. If this is the case and they are not really the supervisor of >150 people, I would recommend having the user run the report for approval in the backend (CAPS or CAT4 transaction).
If they insist on approving through MSS or if they really are a casual user/supervisor, then it seems they will need more PC memory to handle that much processing.
Also, we partitioned the CATSDB table and the approval reports runs in seconds now instead of minutes. We partitioned by year. This may help you also but doubtful since they are trying to approve so many employees at once.

Approve Time Sheet data

Hi friends,
I am getting problem when trying to "Approve Time Sheet data " from MSS. I am not using Work flow but the link given in MSS Team. When i am clicking on the link the first page is comming and i can see the requested working time for approval. But when i click on the review an error occured. the details is:

Why do I have to put in a password for my podcast every time I download it?

Everytime I open Itunes, I have to I have to put in a password for my podcast every time to download it? This started with the last iTunes and has continued. Does anyone know a work around?

Hi Lawrence. I'll go through the process. I click on SMTP under outgoing mail server. My primary server, smpt.aol.com is on. The next screen says server, which is on, then underneath that is the outgoing mail server. Everything under that heading is greyed out, which includes the host name, my user name, password (which says optional), user ssl (which is on), authentication, then server port 587. I need to change my password where it says optional, but it is all greyed out and won't allow me to do so. Thanks very much for your help!

Review approved time sheets in MSS

Hello to everybody
We are working on a ESS/MSS implementation (ECC6.00 with EhP4), including CATS regular scenarios.
In MSS the "Approve Time" scenario displays all Time sheets submitted by the employees.
After the approval, the manager is no more able to see the approved time sheets.
Is there any scenarios in MSS, where the manager can review the approved time sheets?
Where can he see the history of approved time sheets?

I think the main ways to get this would be
1) Absence Days iview MSS
2) Attendance overview MSS
3) Team Calendar MSS
4) Reporting (ECC, CAT-TS or MSS)
5) Prior to approval in the UWL work item
6) Prior to approval captured in Review step of Timesheet approval iview
7) CA-TS transactions in ECC
Similiarly please also check in UWL after approval to see if work item and associated timesheet is visible

MSS Approve Time (views)

Hello -- We are using XSS for ECC6.
I am struggling with limited VIEWS available in MSS for Time Approval....
What is the deal with not having the use of the OADP tables like everywhere else in MSS? For example, I cannot switch the view from 'Direct Reports' to 'All Employees'... A common scenario would be to sometimes also approve time for the org unit below (All Employees).
It looks like you define a View Group in table V_PTREQ_TEAM. And then the system automatically uses the View assigned as position '1' in table V_TWPC_ORGVWGRP.. However, there is no available function to switch back and forth between other views (from Direct Reports to All Employees). The Time Approval views are all based only on the time data displayed (and uses an entirely different set of tables). I need to use a view that changes the employee selection. Does anyone now of a way to integrate with the views from the OADP tables, please share... This is not an uncommon scenario and I can't imagine SAP did not account for it... Thanks in advance for any help!

I followed up with SAP to see if there was a BAdi or something we could use to change the EE selection.. Basically they said the current view is all they have to offer... It might be changed in a later release, but nothing is scheduled at this point. (!!) Our client changed their Business Process -- MSS users will only approve direct reports... If another mgr below them is absent, the back up approver will be a Time Administrator who will approve in the backend. Not idea, but there's no other option.

Approve time sheets UI5_HCM_TSA not loading

Hi Experts,
I am finding an issue with Fiori app for approving time sheets UI5_HCM_TSA . We are able to create working time requests correctly form Fiori.
But from launch page if we click on Approve time sheet chip it is showing a blank screen like attachment.Same error when we launch from SICF also. Remaining apps like travel expense,leave approval etc are working fine. I have assigned needed roles for time sheet from installation manual.
Applied note 0001967726 by reading threads.But still issue remains as attached image.The approval is working fine from NWBC and back end.
Is there any special config needed time sheet (CATS) approval from Fiori.

How do I change the podcast download time in Windows XP? It looks like the default is set to 6:57 p.m. Pacific time. I don't see anything about this in the preferences -- just whether or not I want it to download daily, weekly, never, et cetera.

Employee Search in MSS Approve Time Sheet Data

Employee Search in MSS Approve Time Sheet Data (Net Weaver Portal 2004s)
In MSS we need upper level managers to be able to approve time for employees who reside in lower level org units and are not the managers direct reports. This is usually the case when the chief the employees do report to directly is absent.
In the MSS Team view the links General Information, Compensation Information and Personnel Development have an Employee Search iView with a dropdown containing options for Direct Reports, Employees from Organizational Structure, Employees from Organizational Units and Employee Search. We have been told that in previous versions of MSS that functionality existed in the Approve Time Sheet Data iView as well which would appear to solve our problem.
Is this functionality available in Approve Time Sheet Data and if so how is it configured? Or is there another way (other than manipulating the org structure) for managers to view non-direct reports and approve their time?
