Pop up effect on thumbnail

is it possible or how can you create an pop up effect when hovering the thumbnail for a slide show? enable the pop up while hovering the thumbnail rather than clicking on it
so when you place your curse on top of a thumbnail it shows the full picture on the slide

It is not possible for a Lightbox as Lightbox is only triggered on Click and cannot be triggered to Roll-over.
However, as a workaround (if it suits) you can use some other Widgets like Basic/Blank or Thumbnail in Slideshow to achieve this effect (However it will not be a pop-up like Slideshow).

Pop Art Effect

Could anyone please tell me if I can get the pop art effect, or download an application (the same that is found in the photo booth) or can I transport a photo from iphoto to the photo booth to get this effect onto my photo's?? Thanks Jo

There's no way to put a photo into PhotoBooth. You may be able to achieve what you seek with an app like Compositor or Photoshop Elements

Photo Booth amputed Pop Art effect

Everything just run fine on my iMac G5 iSight PowerPC, updated to Mac OS X 10.4.7 two days ago… But then opening Photo Booth I discovered that the Pop Art effect is much more less Pop than before: it displays ONLY one rectangle the red one, but all three others are just missing. they don't display, and Pop Art effect doesn't show a proper functionnality. I wonder if you encountered the same minor but annoying problem.
Is it a case of legacy with Andy Warhol children?

Photobooth is related to internal iSight computers which include Intels. It is thre only machines it comes on.
The FAQ although written for iChat reinstall tells you (if you change the items you are looking for) how to extract anything from the Install disk.
I was suggesting that you use this information to do this.
I was not suggesting that you reinstall iChat but should apply the method described to reinstall Photobooth.

Mavericks - Launchpad Pop-Up-Effect irritates...

Is there a way to re-convert the Launchpad pop-up effect as it was at Mountain-Lion?
In Mountain-Lion Launchpad fade in from the desktop. In Maverick he fade in from the user perspective. It irritates me enormously. Formerly it was much better for the eyes. It was not as stressful as it is in Mavericks.
Is there a tweak to change it back?

Adding spry fade effect to thumbnail gallery??

Hi,
I have a gallery page with a set of thumbnail images each linking to a main image.
I would like to add a simple javascript fade in for each main image. So when the user clicks on the thumbnail, the main image will fade in.
I took a look at the spry effects page (http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/effects/fade_sample.html) but this uses an onclick event and my code already has some onclick events:

...so i'm not sure if i can add the onclick events for the fade which is:
onclick="firstFade.start();"
Any ideas how i can get this to work?

This just applies a fade to whatever is being clicked i.e. i add this to the div container where my big image will appear and when I click on this image the main image fades out. However i want the big image to fade in when the thumbnails are clicked.

So each thumbnail references a bigger image dynamically. I think i may need to add an onclick event to the thumbnail but I don't know how.
Is there any other way to achieve a fade in on the bigger image when a thumbnail is clicked?

Does anyone know how to creat the Pop Art effects of Warhol in PSE 11 ?

I believe it was PSE 9 or 10 and I took one B&W graphic and applied a plugin or filter and the result was four copies of the graphic in these wild Neon colors all in one frame ... Now I have misplaced the final work and am unable to recreate with PSE 11 ... Any one know what I am talking about and how to recreate the effect

Image pop-up enlargement of thumbnail

In DW CS4.
I am working on setting up a page of thumbnails & I'd like each thumbnail to enlarge when rolled over. I have tried this site for help:

I am not sure what I am doing wrong & I was wondering if it has anything to do with div tags as I don't believe the example in the site is in a div tag and or doesn't have a div id like all the thumbs do in my page layout. Please see below my code for one thumbnail:

After installing PSE 8 Windows 7 no longer generates mpg thumbnails

I recently noticed that Windows 7 was no longer producing thumbnails of .mpg files in Windows Explorer. Much troubleshooting produced no solution. Finally I un-installed PSE8, and immediately Windows was able to generate mpg thumbnails again.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a solution (besides un-installing PSE8)? By the way, I have PSE 7 installed and there is not effect on thumbnail generation in Windows Explorer.

Since posting my original message, I have deleted PRE8 and PSE8. I can't remember if PSE8 Organizer was able to make thumbnails for mpg files or not. I'm sorry that I can't answer your question more clearly. I did not want to leave PSE8 and PRE8 installed on my computer because of the problem I described above of how it affected Windows Explorer's ability to create mpg thumbnails. So, I have removed PRE8 and PSE8 from my computer.
After installing PRE8 and PSE8 have you found any problems with Windows Explorer creating mpg thumbnails?

Photo Booth Effects Problem

Hi, I have a problem with Photo Booth, when I choose the pop art effect it only displays one of the 4 colors and the rest looks yellow, any suggestions to solve this??

Hi all
My problem is the Pop Art effect shows only one square, not the usual four.
Tried trashing preferences, didn't work.

Restating your Mac may fix the problem. If not, repair permissions and try again. (Click here if you need help.)
If neither helps, and if yours is an "iMac G5 iSight",(Click here if you need help identifying your model.) you can use the software install discs that came with your iMac G5 to reinstall the Photo Booth application. If you need help, see page 55 of the iMac G5 User’s Guide that came with your iMac. Repair permissions again after you reinstall Photo Booth.
If you have a different model or if reinstalling does not fix the problem, tell us what model of Mac you use when you post back.

Can you help? photo booth effect not working properly.

The pop art effect is no longer working on my mom's G5. It only shows a pic in the upper left rahter than the four it used to show: upper left, upper right, lower left and lower right.

You don't mention which model of G5 your mother has.
However, you need to install a "fresh" copy of the Photo Booth application from the install DVD or a working copy from another machine.
Mine POP ART effect stopped working like you mentioned with only the one photo in the upper left. I deleted that copy of the Photo Booth application and installed a fresh one. Now all 4 or the photos are showing.

Jpeg thumbnails too dark in CS5 bridge

All of a sudden my jpeg thumbnails appear very dark and muddy in CS5 bridge. Such images are of normal brightness when opened in Photoshop proper.
Equally puzzling is when a jpeg image is then "saved as" back to the same folder as a TIFF (for example) the jpeg looks dark but the TIFF version of the same file looks correct. RAW files still look correct.
This seems to be a recent problem as jpeg images I processed a few ago weeks ago still dislay normally in bridge.
I've tried purging the folder cache without effect. Thumbnail quality is set to "always high". I feel I may have accidentally altered a setting but cannot think wghat it might be. Please help.

Since my posting I have realised this problem is confined to images from the Nikon D800 camera ONLY. Jpegs from my other Nikon cameras display normally.
That does indeed not indicate to a cache problem alone. But you stated in your earlier post purging cache did solve the problem temporarily hence my idea about this solution.
I still think you should try to move the files to another new folder but you have provided us with very less detail about what computer, systemOS etc you are using and if you have the correct ACR version for support of your Nikon D800 which I believe is ACR 6.7 (in Photoshop use menu Photoshop / about Plug ins / Camera Raw to check which version you have.
Just to say I shoot RAW and batch convert to sRGB jpeg from ACR. It doesn't matter what size option I save to from ACR.
I don't follow this workflow, shooting Raw provides you with all details and data from your sensor but you need to go through them for fine tuning the settings. Shooting jpeg means you loose a lot of those details and let the camera software decide to fine tune for you (in a nutshell, it is a bit more complicated…)
Shooting Raw and without change settings and fine tune just convert these files to sRGB jpeg is in my opinion pointless. You better use the option to shoot Raw + jpeg and use the jpegs out of camera for this purpose.

Photo Booth effects didn't work properly

so i was using photo booth in my MBP '13 mid 12 and noticed that the pop art effect didn't work properly.
it kept telling me to step out of the frame after that the frame went freeze i don't know how to fix this any idea?
i have upgrade to yosemite but i think it doesn't work either

I have the same problem with MBP 13" late2013. Would be nice to use pop art filter, but it is impossible 'cause of this.

Photo booth effects in iphoto

I really like the pop art effect that photo booth offers. I have tried some external software (Funtastic Photos) but I preferred Apple's version. I also tried finding Corel Image Fun House as suggested by a search but don't really understand how to do this. Any suggestions to be able to use the pop art filter with my photos?

Photo booth effects are not available to process iPhoto photos - you can suggest to Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback
