Popup reuse and instantiate data within the popup

Hi,
I'm trying to implement a popup I can use to edit values via a form. I only pass an ID to the popup. The popup will contact a datasource to load the data from a database, based on the ID, and pre-fill the form. If no ID is passed (or empty), the popup displays an empty form which can be used to add the record to the database.
Based on the samples I found this was quite easy to implement... However, I'm facing a problem in instantiating values, when the popup gets called the first or the second time.
I first added the initialisation code (clearing fields and getting new data from database) in the creationComplete of the popup; but the event does not get fired anymore when opening the popup the second time (popup gets called by PopupManager.addPopup).
I tried triggering the init on the event 'added' or 'addedToStage' as well, but then some of the components in the popup are not yet created the first time I open the popup, giving an exception thrown...
What's the best approach or event to trigger on, to instantiate my data when the popup displays?

Thanks, I found where I went wrong... the removePopUp was porperly called from my code; I tried a createPopUp, but stored it in a local value, and reused it... Now I realy use a new instance and it works on the creationComplete...
However, if I would like to use the same instance, and add it with 'addPopUp', should I still remove it?, and on which event I can best trigger the instantiation : I would like to instantiate the values when the popup is displayed, I don't want to add a button 'update the data'...?

Here I am attaching the VI, what I tried.
From attached CSV file, I have to find an average value for columns B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I and AJ, AK. ( data range will be defined by user ), focused only on these columns
Here, the scope is to calculate an average value for given data range by user as MAX and MIN data.
FYI: I tried manually for two instance i.e column H & I. As per H column one steady state values from 7500 to 10500 and similarly in I column 7875 to 10050. So, I gave these as a limit to capture and calculate the average value. But unfortunaltely, requirement has been modified as per below requirements.
More Info on requirement:
--> The user will define the range of data by giving some MAXIMUM and MINIMUM values(for above mentioned columns induvidually), then VI should capture that data range and it has to caculate the average value for that range of data. This is the task I have to complete.
--> I am stuck in creating a logic for data capturing for given range of MAX and MIN value from user,
Can anyone help me on this.

First thing is to forget all the complex configs and just try to schedule the report to run once now, no alerts, no notifications, no nothing.
Does that work?
Then you can build up the schedule, to see where the problem is coming from.

Deletion of data within the database tables

The user is trying to clean up the 2014 data within the database tables. He is running a delete function which keeps causing the log files
to exceed their limit. The tables are large and he is unable to delete the data in one command due to available size and logging. What is the best way to approach this?

According to your description, the user fails to delete data in tables due to the limited space of log file. Based on my research, this issue could occur when you use the delete statement(DELETE FROM ExampleTable) in a single transaction and consume all
available space on your transaction log disk.
To avoid this issue, you could use the two methods below to delete the data.
1. Use a loop combined with TOP and delete rows in smaller transactions as the following example. This method requires you to delete all the tables one by one.
SELECT 1
WHILE @@ROWCOUNT > 0
BEGIN
DELETE TOP (1000)
FROM LargeTable
END

2. If you want to delete all the data from all tables in the specific database, you could script the entire database and all database objects. Then drop the database and recreate it using the script as the steps below.
a. In Object Explorer, expand the node for the instance containing the database to be scripted.
b. Point to Tasks, and then click Generate Scripts and click Next.
c. Select the option of 'Script the entire database and all database objects'.
d. Specify how scripts should be saved. You could save the script to a file or new query window. Click Next, then click ok.
e. Drop the database, and run the script in the query window to recreate it. For more information, please refer to the article:

In addition, if possible, please increase the size of the log file or move the log file to a different disk with more disk space.

How can I do to acquire and save date in the same time and in the same file when I run continual my VI without interruption.

I've attached a VI that I am using to acquire amplitude from Spectrum analyzerse. I tried to connect amplitude ouput to the VI Write Characters To File.vi and Write to Spreadsheet File.vi. Unfortunately when I run continual this VI without interruption, labview ask me many time to enter a new file name to save a new value.
So, How can I do to aquire and save date in the same time and in the same file when I run continual my VI for example during 10 min.

Your VI does work perfectly. Unfortunately this not what I want to do. I've made error in my last comment. I am so sorry for this.
So I explain to you again what I want to do exactly. I want to acquire amplitude along road by my vehicle. I want to use wheel signal coming from vehicle to measure distance along road. Then I acquire 1 amplitude each 60 inches from spectrum analyzer.
I acquire from PC parallel port a coded wheel signal coming from vehicle (each period of the signal corresponds to 12 Inches). Figure attached shows the numeric signal coming from vehicle, and the corresponding values “120” and “88” that I can read from In Port vi.
So I want to acquire 1 time amplitude from spectrum analyser each 5
period of the signal that I am acquiring from parallel port.
So fist I have to find how can I count the number of period from reading the values “120” and “88” that I am acquiring from In Port (I don’t know the way to count a number of period from reading values “120” and “88”).
Here is a new algorithm.
1) i=0 (counter: number of period)
2) I read value from In Port
3) If I acquire a period
i= i+1 (another period)
4) If i is multiple of 5 (If I read 5 period)
acquire 1 time amplitude and write to the same
file this amplitude and the corresponding distance
Distance = 12*i). Remember each period of signal
Corresponds to 12 Inches).i has to take these
values: 5,10,15,20,25,35,40,45,50,55,60............
5) Back to 2 if not stop.

Try opening iTunes preferences. Then click on advanced tab. Then uncheck "Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library." By default, iTunes copies music to its own media folder when you use iTunes to play the music.

When I try to sync photos, I followed all the steps, picked one folder. When I hit "apply" I get this error message: Are you sure you want to remove 30 apps from iPad. This will delete these apps and their data from the iPad. What have I done wrong

I have the same problem. I updated my mac to 10.5, which then had me update apps like itunes, etc. then it wanted me to sync my purchased music to my ipad before i updated the ipad...which worked ok. then when i was syncing the photos i got the same message when i hit "apply" asking are you sure you want to delete the 12 apps from the ipad - clicked "no" and brought me back to the original screen. Got the same message when trying to move them from the hard drive to the ipad. WHat is going on and how do I correct this? Thanks

The buttons in main the vi get locked after opening a vi reference in a subpanel and using buttons within the subpanel.

I am trying to open a reference to a vi in the subpanel of the main vi. However after the vi opens in the subpanel and after pressing a few buttons in the subpanel the buttons in the main vi get locked, i.e. I can't even close the main vi or control anything else. Is there any way how I can avoid this happening?

This is most likely happening because in either the top or sub panel,
there is an event structure that is queuing events, and is set to lock
the panel until the events are handled, and because of the logic in the
diagram, the events aren't being pulled from the queue.
So, you have a deadlock. You are waiting
on the panel. The panel is
waiting on the diagram. And the diagram is waiting on something else.
So, if there are indeed event structures involved, determine where in
the diagram things are delaying. Also, if you do not need the panel to
lock until the event is handled, you can change the setting in the
events dialog on the structure. But the events will still be queued
until the diagram starts executing.

I'm doing an activity report that should only look at activity with a date within the past 90 days. I would like to avoid using a prompt; just to make things easier. Is there a way to do this say via a formual for example? Any thoughts?

There is no simple way. It has to be a math calculation.
There are several ways you can get the dates. First you have to know what day is January 1st and what day is december 31st for a particular year. Second you have to check whether the given year is a leap year or not. Based on the abvove information you should be able to find out what day is a particular date.

Hello Marek,
I suppose you are not planning to do any kinds of advanced config using several VLANs and multiple SSIDs so let's just make your configuration simple and working.
In short, you need to remove all references to VLAN 1 and to any subinterfaces possibly related to the VLAN 1. This means in particular (follow these steps in sequence):
Remove the Dot11Radio0.1 subinterface entirely
In the Dot11Radio0 section, remove the encryption vlan 1 mode ciphers tkip command
In the dot11 ssid ciscowifi section, remove the vlan 1 command
After performing these steps, make sure that the ssid ciscowifi and encryption mode commands are still present in the Dot11Radio0 configuration, and if not, reenter them.
