Portal not accessable via browser as inside sapmmc - http provider is red

Hi Experts,
I am very new to NW admin side and currently my client is facing an issue while accessing portal via browser.
Problem: Some times suddently when users try to access production portal it takes a lot of time to open up and in most cases it doesn' t get opened up at all. To check what' s wrong with the portal i access sapmmc and inside their i find under current status -> ... -> services -> http provider -> total requests in red status with a description as avg request - response time last reported value above threshold limit. It will be the same case under open alerts too.
My server configuration is:
SAP-JEE = 7.0SP14
OS = Windows 2003 (X86) 5.2
Server Version = 1.4.2_17-bo6
Kernel Version = 7.00 patch level 109886.44
Server = 32 bit
RAM = 16.00GB
Processor = Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5450 @3.00GHZ (8CPUs)
Heap Size: 1024 MB
Approximate number of users = 500 - 600
Currently to solve the issue, we give a reboot to server. But with the progress in time the frequency is getting increased drastically (approx once in 2- 3 days).
Any pointers on how to solve this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Now the issue seems to end up by raising an OSS notes with SAP and i have been given responsibility to prepare a doc that needs to be submited to SAP.
I have already got the screenshots from SAPMMC on it' s status and all, but also requires log information specific to the reason behind this behaviour. Can i know where the log information specific to such issues gets logged and all the necessary information that i need to document to raise an OSS.
Inputs with be of great help and will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Ravi,
    Have you filled in the node_vbak1 with some elements? Lets say in a supply function or wddoinit etc.?
    Just check that. After that, make sure you have IntializeLeadSelection property set to true for the node_vbak1.

  • L7600 Cannot Access via browser

    I'm frustrated.
    HP Printer --> Wireless Bridge --> Router
    I can print from my MAC and the HP Utility can access the printer so I know I have connectivity. However, driectly access the printer via the browser seems impossible. I know I have the correct IP address and netword otherwise I could not print nor would the HP Utility "see" the printer. Any ideas - my PC cannot "see" the printer either.

    I can print from my Mac using the xxx.127 IP adresss and the HP Utility can connect to the pinter and print the configuration page. However, I cannot access the printer via the browser.

  • SCM collaborative portal not working via Internet BUT wo

    I am working on Collaborate planning in APO (SCM) - sharing SCM planning books over internet so that collaborators (customers) can access our data. I enabled all the required services using SICF and published services using SE80.
    Portal works correctly in Intranet (with in our network), But doesnot work in Internet, link/url doesn't not bring up log on screen and get error no page found.
    We are on SCM5.0 (Netwaver 7.0) and using integrated ITS.
    What other settings required to access through internet?

    We have traced the http request using httplook. We noticed that the Content-length is not being sent for requests which go through http proxy. All other web sites set the content length and hence the keep-alive remains true. In our case we feel that because the content-length is not been sent , the keep-alive is false and hence we get a connection close through the proxy server
    Are there any setting on IIS which we need to do ?

    ig you google it this problem you will see that only cisco goods have this problem and no one care about that according cisco support. why? I will never buy cisco product. 

    I try different browsers and they all have certificate notice alert.
    New IE on win8 by default not allow to enter secure page with expire certificates.
    I hope that cisco will make new firmeware with functionality to add costume certificate pfx for example.
    Cisco support lower encryption type. Every new windows encrase cryptograpgi that IE support by default. Look IE about to see type 64 or 128 or 256…
    On xp will work good, but we are now in era of win 8 with IE that support by default 128 or 256 depending home or server version.

  • Tomcat  5.5.26 Sessions getting replicated but not working via browser

    I have configured Tomcat 5.5.26 to be clustered across 2 machines with one instance on each. These two machines are behing a BIG-IP loadbalancer which is setup for sticky sessions.
    The catalina.out states that the member can see each other:

    The app I am using is the jsp-examples/book example.
    The load balancer is sending requests to both servers.
    When the dargle instance is sent a request I can see in the logs of both servers:

    The jsp-examples book example is supposed to have serilizable object and was recommended on some sites are the way to test out the replication. Is there any other way to test this?
    Also, the main purpose of the cluster is to replicate an application from an external vendor which they say is compatible with session replication. However, this app does not even output the sessionCreated message so I am unsure if it truly is compatible.
    If I could prove that the cluster is setup correctly then I would have more to go on when contacting the vendor. At the moment I am unsure if the cluster is setup correctly for session replication.

    I was on my gmail account and looked at settings forward and pop/imap
    be sure they are activated.
    Imap if you want to access it from several places. That way you have the original on Gmail-server and copies on your pc.
    Pop on the other hand loads down the emails. perfect if its just one pc.
    (i'm not sure the Gmail-server deletes them thou).

    Status LED is Amber(ORANGE/RED)— Means Problem encountered during boot.

    Did u tried with these settings:
    9600 baud
    8 data bits
    No flow control
    1 stop bit
    No parity
    If the console is not responsive, then its a hardware failure and you should contact the TAC or You should RMA'd it.
    Be aware: WLC 2100 Series are EOL/EOS.

  • BSP css & mime objects not found when accessed via iView in the Portal

    Hi
    A locally developed BSP Application has defined it's own CSS and MIME objects.
    This works well when accessed via the Integrated ITS in ECC6.
    However, when we access this the BSP application from an iView in a Portal (NW04S), the css and MIME objects do not appear to be loaded.
    What are we missing?

  • Getting error on Portal : Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible

    While executing a bapi,I am getting this error : Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
    I am calling a bapi with only one required parameter from Portal as per the design of the bapi and the bapi itself is calling some other functions internally.
    I a using ECC 5.00 i,e. EA-HR 5.00. On SDN it is suggested to Apply OSS Note 1018036. But it is applicable to EA-HR 6.00 and subsequent releases,I guess.
    Need your suggestions and also need to know if the above Note can be applied to EA-HR 5.00.

  • Can not access ASAs inside interface via VPN tunnels

    Hi there,
    I have a funny problem.
    I build up a hub and spoke VPN, with RAS Client VPN access for the central location.
    All tunnels and the RAS VPN access are working fine.
    I use the tunnels for Voip, terminal server access and a few other services.
    The only problem I have is, that I could not access the inside IP address of any of my ASAs, neither via tunnels nor via RAS VPN access. No telnet access and no ping reach the inside interfaces.
    No problem when I connect to the interface via a host inside the network.
    All telnet statments in the config are ending with the INSIDE command.
    On most of the ASAs the 8.2 IOS is running on one or two ASAs the 8.0(4).
    For the RAS client access I use the Cisco 5.1 VPN client.
    Did anybody have any suggestions?

    then you may need to allow the source , for example if RA VPN pool network is 10.20.20.0/24 then you tell asa that network cann administer asa and point access to inside, but sounds you have this part already.

    same principle for l2l vpns

  • Web dynpro abap application on Portal does not work via internet access.

    Dear All,
    I have created a web dynpro abap application and deployed the same on Portal.
    The issue I am facing is that the webdynpro application works fine when the end user logs into Portal from Local Network,
    However when the Portal is accessed from outside the local N/W via Internet, Portal is working fine for other applications like ESS
    but the web dynpro application dont work.
    Is this some configuration issue on the portal / abap development or any workaround is possible.

  • I have a new printer which behaves OK except it will not print directly from a web site accessed via Firefox. We do not have this problem if accessed via another browser. Suggestions?

    New printer is Brother MFCJ615W. OS is XP. Computer is quite old Dell. Printer also refuses to print pictures from .jpg files - but the fact that I can print direct from web sites accessed via another browser suggests some of the problem is with Firefox. I asked this a few days ago and got an email reply giving me a link to click on - but this only produced an error message.

    I think I solved the wifi connection problem, just by switching off completely the router! sounds trivial, but in this case it worked!!!
    the funny behaviour of the trackpad/cursor still persists. any suggestion???

    Iam working in ABAP, and learning CRM ABAP on CRM5.0 IDES Demo system I was trying to create a new WebIC by copying one view from CRM_IC to ZCRM_IC bsp application. Following are the steps I following according to Cook book documentation.
    1. I copied BuPaDisplayCustomer view and controller from CRM_IC to ZCRM_IC from
        BSP_WD_WORKBENCH by selecting CRM_IC and runtime profile = 'DEFAULT'.
    2. Created a runtime profile from SPRO->CRM->IC Webclient->Customer specific modifications->Define
       runtime profile.
    3. Copied the 'DEFAULT' runtime profile to my new profile 'Z_COOKBOOK'. Assign 'ZCRM_IC' by
       clicking on 'Controller and substitues'.
       BSP       Replaced Controller         BSP                 ReplacmentController
       CRM_IC BuPaMoreContactView    Z_CRM_IC         BuPaMoreContactView 
    4. Define IC Webclient profile:
        SPRO->CRM->IC Webclient->Define IC Webclient profile->Copy the DEFAULT profile and assign it to
        'Z_COOKBOOK',
    5. Assigned the Webclient profile to the user from t-code 'PPOMW'. Selected 'USER' from the 
        existing 'Position' and Goto->Detail object->Enhanced obj descrption.Selected IC webclient from the
       list and created Infotype assigned Webclient profile 'Z_COOKBOOK'.
    6. Execute the ZCRM_IC from SE80 by rightclick and Test. Here is my problem,Iam receiving the
       following error in the webpage.

    I check the CRM services and all are active, using IE8 web browser. I just copied the view and controller
    from CRM_IC into Custom BSP application i.e., ZCRM_IC.
    Above error is occuring even If i run the standard CRM_IC BSP application and select one simple view.
    from SE80.
    Not sure whether any additional configuration or any special roles to be assigned to the Webclient profile.
