Ported number from Straight Talk to Verizon--how long does it take?
Hi,
I pre-purchased an iPhone 6 from a Verizon seller last week. I went and got the phone today and got my Verizon account set up. Today is the first day of my contract. They ported my number from Straight Talk. Right away, we got a text saying there was a delay in porting the number. At the moment, some texts are coming to my old phone, some to the new. Meanwhile, calls seem to go only to the old phone.
Is something wrong, or do I just need to wait? The port was attempted at about 2 pm, and it's about 4 pm now.

Ah ha! Okay, so I just need to be more patient in other words. I'm just glad nothing is wrong.
I did use the "erase all data and settings" option on the iPhone 6 menu because I wanted to go through the setup myself. I hope that didn't mess anything up.

Adjusting the sizing the account number to be wider is not a hard system adjustment task and have almost zero system ripple-effect impact (I am in IT works).

How long does it take to get approval from iTunes Connect and how do I find out if they are even working on it? I'm not really sure if my application was even delivered - from the links in IBA. Any suggestions how one might push the right buttons at Apple?
Also went around in a big circle trying to get beyond the confusion of not having the right Apple ID when I've had it a long time. Confusion abounds and learning this forum also takes a new degree of patience. Humbling to say the least :-)

Depending on what is being/can be migrated it may be dependent on how much data is on the PC already.

Apple.com has notoriously given very accurate assessments of their ship dates. Keep checking back there for updates. The place to look is in the Store ... find the "Account" button near the upper right.

I'm having the same problem. I have my main Library on a WXP machine and a new W7 laptop. My iphone 4 sees the library from the W7 machine, but neither the laptop nor the iphone see the big library on the WXP machine. I have configured firewall settings, tried the network wired and wireless, using same apple id on all devices, restarted itunes on all computers, turned sharing off and on on all computers. If the seller didn't do the above, you need to get the seller to do this. If you don't, you won't be able to re-activate the phone. It will be useless to you.
