Position URL Title?

The previous version of GB put the URL title at the bottom of the player screen. Version 5.0.1 puts it in the middle of the screen which can obscure a portion of the screen image. Any ideas on how to move it?
A preference for the position of the link would be GREAT. Also a preference for opening the link in a new window would be GREAT. As it is now, when a link is clicked the listener exits the podcast to view the link. He should be able to open the link in a new window and continue listening.

Currently, I can copy ONE tab's url and nothing else (not its name). Or I can bookmark all tabs that are open. However, I'd like to have the ability to select multiple tabs and then copy ALL of the the URLs AND their titles/or copy ALL of the URLs+titles+HTML links? You should definitely be able to upload multiple files by Shift-clicking or Ctrl-clicking the files you want to upload. Just to make sure you don't have an old version of the service cached, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. After clicking the File Upload icon in the upper-right corner, you should be able so select multiple files for upload.

Redirect page to x page= none of the url title of x page are displayed

Just wondering if anyone knows how to help me. I host my
pages .com, but have only registered the domain .co.uk elsewhere
and redirect it to the .com domain. When i now access the .co.uk
page, it redirects, but none of the url title of the .com page are
displayed. Do you know how to correct this?

Then it's not a redirect, but probably just a frame.

Changing position of titles

Hey guys...I don't have iLife 08, yet...geez, I barely used the last version.
I'm doing a quick "slide show" in imovie HD for a friend....and can't seem to figure out how to change the placement of the TITLE.
It shows up in the middle of the clip, I want to move it to the BOTTOM of the clip...can anyone advise on this?

Hopefully one of the "Top Users" can address this better than I. iMovie Help states that, if available, you "can position the title style's origination point by clicking the preview monitor" and "if the pointer(?) changes to a crosshair you can click a place in the preview monitor where you want the title to begin". I don't think the selection of iMovie HD's title styles include that capability (perhaps someone can recommend a "plug-in" with such).
One thing that might help position your subtitle lower is by checking the "QT Margins" box, which will lower the text to the bottom of the screen. Only, it may get cut off if viewing on a TV screen. Also, you can position the text left or right of center by typing a "." to the far left (to get the text to line up on the right) or to the far right (text will be on left) of the text in the text viewer. Good luck.

Window size/position and title question

I can't work out how to control the position of my site
within it's window, or the size of the window. I've tried all the
settings in the Publish panel. I'm trying to get the flash stage
(750 x 500) to occupy the centre of a slightly larger window (900 x
600) which opens to that exact size.
I also can't work out how to set the window title to anything
other than index.

URL, title etc of webpages do not print on pages printed off internet despite selecting these in header/footers in page set up. How do I get URL etc to print on the page?

No matter how I try I cannot get the URL of a webpage or other options such as page title, date etc to print if I print up a webpage. I have done the necessary selections in file>page setup>headers & footers choosing the options from the drop downs. I have even tried making top or bottom margin bigger thinking there was not space on the page. This is still the case if I try to print to different printers.
Is there something I am missing that needs to be done via some other setting or menu item?

How to position sub-titles??

I'm running QuickTime 7.2 on Windows XP-Pro. I'm trying to subtitle a 1280 x 720 movie using the following QTtext file:

My main problem is in positioning - no matter what I do, the subtitles appear at the top of the screen, even if I try manually moving the text track by changing the visual settings in the Movie Properties page. What do I need to do to perform positioning??
A second problem is with the line "Listen - [{italic}dog barking{plain}]"; everything up to the closing ] is italicized. How come?

I tried that, but it didn't seem to make any difference. When I changed the values, nothing happened to the text bar position. And when I went back to check, the values had returned to 0,0.
I've been using WebAim's tutorial to learn about this stuff (www.webaim.org/techniques/captions/quicktime), and their description of how to position the text track bears little relation to the version of QuickTime I'm using.

Position of title on a slide

I am new to Macs. I am making a slide show and want the first slide to have a title on it. I have managed to get a title on, but it is smack in the middle of the slide. I want to be able to move it, and have been unsuccessful at finding a solution to that. I am in the Ken Burns theme, and have read that you can move it, but nowhere have I found the info that tells me what to do.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What you want to do is not an option. The title slide has the title in the middle and is the title of the slideshow itself. The other title option in the Setting pane put the title/file name for each slide in the lower left hand corner.
If you want to only have the first slide to have a title use the Photos->Batch Change->Title to Empty menu option to remove the titles from all of the slides in the slideshow. Then manually add the title you want to have on the first slide. That may give you what you want. Other than that you'll need to use another slideshow application OR use a 3rd party editor to but the title text directly on the photo wherever you want.

URL Title option not showing for podcast.

I'm trying to show the URL I have entered for a chapter in my podcast. However, the checkbox for "Displays URL" is grayed, and I cannot click on it. I have no idea whether this is because of something else, or whether I skipped over something. Please help. Thanks!

iTunes is not using the Feedburner-generated feed (which appears to be what you quoted: I can't examine the original because you haven't quoted the URL): it is using the Wordpress-generated feed which presumably you also submitted to Feedburner. This feed does not contain an 'itunes:image' tag, which is why there is no image in the Store.
No amount of messing about with the Feedburner feed xml is going to affect the Store. You need to either a) add the appropriate tags to the Wordpress feed at the URL quoted above, or b) put a redirecting tag into that feed so that iTunes will transfer its attention from that to the Feedburner feed - the method is described here:

Be extremely careful if you choose option 'b': if you make an error in the URL for the feed you are redirecting to you will *not be able to get iTunes back to the correct feed*; and once you are using Feedburner's feed you will not be able to get at it to redirect away from it should you ever wish to do so in future. You should also make absolutely sure that the Feedburner feed is OK - check it at
http://www.feedvalidator.org

I want to change my url link title on cs6

Kind of.
You will need your main home page for the site to be in your site's root folder. Anyone can browse to it via a link that is simply http://www.yoursite.com
Your server will send them to the index.html page without the need for you to type it into the actual link.
The same goes for sub folders within your site. You could make any number of folders, like:
contact
about
portfolio
Then place index.html pages within those folders. Think of them as "sub folder home pages" just like your main home page. From there on out, you could use links like http://www.yoursite.com/contact and the server would direct them to the index.html page within the contact folder.
Your site structure within the DW Files tab would look like this...
index.html
about
     index.html
contact
     index.html
portfolio
     index.html
You would have the site's home page (index.html) on the same level as all of your sub section folders. Each one of those folders would then have an index.html page within it and the links on your site would go to the folder, instead of the folder/page.html. The server would then give the index.html page for the folder automatically.

Webpart Title URL (Change and PopUp When Clicked)

I'm trying to take the hyperlink title of an ExcelWebpart (TitleURL), change it, and upon clicking, making the link open in a dialog OR at least another window without changing the window already open. I found an article that uses jquery,

However, I can't get this to work. One thing is, my webpart resides on a Custom webpart page. Not sure if this makes a difference. I tried putting a Content Editor on the page, placing the code there, but nothing. I tried placing the code directly in the

A possible reason that my code not working in your page is that the HTML structure of your page is different from what it is in my page. This is the web part in my
page and the corresponding HTML source code:
You can check the DOM structure of your web part title using IE Developer Tool to see if the HTML source is similar to mine.

The feed validates, the source code shows all of the necessary header info for itunes - what am I missing... why isn't it updating?

iTunes is looking for a feed at
https://www.calvaryqc.org/xml/podcasts/02080425.xml
and not finding it. The connection is a secure one - https - and when tested in FireFox reports that it uses an untrusted certificate: but even over-riding that shows that there is no file at that address. It is to that feed that you have to add the 'itunes:new-feed-url' tag (it's present on the feed you link to but simply links to the same feed so it's redundant).
Unless you can place a feed at the URL I quote above which iTunes can read (as it must have done once as there are episode showing in the Store, albeit rather out-of-date) you will not be able to redirect iTunes to your new feed.
