  • Unable to make the Client Copy

    Hi Team ,.
I am trying to make a client Copy after SCCL transaction is performed when we check the status
in SCC3 it's throwing an error
    Error :
    Client 200 logon locked
    Client Copy probably cancelled
The Client could be the source client of a copy
    Reset Lock        Keep Lock      Cancel
    Please help
    Regards ,
    Madhu

    I went through this Document
    Client copy error :
RFC destination for client copy in systems with Financials Basis
    (FINBASIS) component.
The system could not find any suitable RFC destination for processing
    for client 001.
This note also appears if an RFC destination was found but this does not
    work.
    o   RFC destination: 001
    o   Error text:
Proceed as follows to eliminate this error:
    1.  Start the wizard to create a new RFC connection
or perform the following steps manually:
    1.  Create an RFC destination with the target ZK>source client of client
         copy (in this case 001).
    2.  Check whether the RFC destination works in transaction SM59.
To avoid errors when assigning the password or the authorizations of
the RFC user, use the authorization test Test -> Authorization.
    3.  Enter the RFC destination:
         -   Transaction: FINB_TR_DEST (Destinations for Transport Methods of
             the Financials Basis)
         -   Client: 001
    4.  Start the client copy again.
    SOLUTION:
    Login to client 001
Go to sm59, create rfc connection type 3, give the rfc destination : FINBASIS_001
Logon and security--> give user id and password (of any user in client 000)(user should be a service user or communication user so as to avoid password lock situation)
Check Test connection: test ---à authorization test.
Login in to new client: 800
    Run the tcode: FINB_TR_DEST
    Click on new entries:
Give the client: 001 and destination as FINBASIS_001 and save .
    Run Tcode: sccl
    Source: 001
    Target: 800
Run as background job.  Go to sm37 & check the status.

  • Is there any possible ways to get the MAC address?

    Hi guys:
I am writing servlets on the server side. Is there any possible ways to get the MAC address when a HTTP request come in? Thank you very much for any helps.
    all the best!

It is usually impossible to get the MAC address of the maker of a HTTP request in any programming language or system.
At best, you can get the MAC of the closest intervening router, firewall, whatever.
Are you sure you mean the MAC address? MAC looks like this: 8:ab:f0:0:71:bb:90 (Ethernet), or 01-23-45-67-89-ab (Token Ring), etc, depending on your network type.
In contrast, an IP address looks like this: 209.249.116.195. If you want the IP address, check out the javadoc for HttpServletRequest and ServletRequest. Caveat: load balancers, web caches, proxy servers, etc will mask the "true" peer's address. Don't do anything silly like try to use the IP address for security or authentication.

  • I need the duplicate copy of my apple product but the store is under renovation. Is there any possible ways to get a duplicate copy of my apple product?

I want a duplicate copy of my macbook pro as i have to show it to the service center to get my repair done within the warranty period. But the store from where i purchased my laptop is closed as it is under renovation. What do i do to get a duplicate copy of my product purchase bill. Please advise

Since you are a year away from being eligible to get a discounted phone on your current Verizon contract, your most cost effective solution is to buy or borrow a used (Verizon) phone from a friend, swappa, ebay or other source.  Use that until your contract is up and then decide if you are going to stay with Verizon or move to someone else.
Changing providers now will result in $200+ in early termination fees, plus the cost of a new phone for your new provider.
What you need is not necessarily a way to get the early upgrade discount, but a working phone for your current account - look to friends, swappa, ebay, and other sources to get a good, used, working phone to finish out your contract.

  • Remote client copy performance

    Hello experts,
I need an opinion on following possibilities that could speed up remote client copy:
Increasing maximum number of processes for parallel processing in dialog mode?
    Increasing the update processes?
Decreasing the undo retention from default 900 seconds to 600 seconds (Oracle) ?
Increase the number of redo log files?
An opinion or any other insights would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Rohit

    Well, the answer is maybe.
You did not supply any information about your run and your system, how can we give you good advice? Any of your proposals might speed up the copy process, but we cannot tell (well decreasing the undo retention and changing the update work processes will not change much). If your hardware (cpu/disk/network) is not exhausted, then increase the number of parallel processes.
Besides that these notes contain good hints regarding copy speedup:

  • Cisco Trust Agent - Any way to force the client to always be enabled?

We have begun to roll out dot1x configuration on our fleet of switches to support a basic authentication and posture check for our NAC Framework deployment. Previous to this, we spent a couple of months deploying the Trust Agent. In the time between deploying the client, and turning dot1x on the switch ports, some users have un-checked the "Enable Client" option available to them in the system tray icon, and the Wired Client. Obviously when dot1x is applied to the port, the supplicant forwards the authentication request to the client, and waits forever for a response, leaving users trying to login waiting for 20 - 30 mins for the login process to complete. My question is thus, is there any way (registry setting, config file setting) to force the client to always be enabled?
    Thanks,
    Michael

  • A possible way to improve the performance of MainStage

Some of you may know that I haven't bothered much with MainStage and Logic recently having had a lot of grief with them over the last year.
However, I just discovered some articles written about OS X memory management and the positive impact of disabling the dynamic paging system on a Mac (meaning no more virtual memory). It seems to be the case that disabling dynamic paging is improving the general responsiveness of a Mac very significantly. While some are claiming that it's only good for Snow Leopard, others are saying it works with Lion as well. My experience is that it indeed works well.
Here's a link to an article that talks about the issue and describes how to disable paging. Mileage may vary but I think it might be worthwhile for those who have reported problems with MS and Logic due to overloads to try it out.
Here's where I first found out about it
    http://workstuff.tumblr.com/post/20464780085/something-is-deeply-broken-in-os-x- memory-management
and here's a discussion in MacWorld about it
    http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=201106020948369
I'd be very interested to know how it goes.
    D

    Hi there,
Thank you for your response. I thought there's no answer for this issue and planning to change it to ALV.
I looked at the codes and debugged it. After the select statement from ZZUWT table (customized), there's a loop that takes much time (10-12mins) for 1000 records. and several nested perform routines. It's a standard program so I'm hesitant to edit it.
I'll be checking on the primary keys. If it's ok, may I ask for your assistance in this part? Though I'm not that familiar and haven't tried creating a report painter before.
    Thanks anyway...:D

  • What are possible ways to return the raw data in the corresponding cell of another sheet?

Numbers on iMac under Maverick. For each sheet in a spreadsheet (Numbers file) I have provided a corresponding sheet (to replace it). In the new sheet I want to insert a formula referencing the corresponding cell in the new sheet, but so that I can delete the original sheet. If the formula referencing the cells in the original sheet returns the resultant data in place of the formula, this will enable me to use this method to work through a largish file (and others like it) with comparative ease. Can this be done, for example, by stipulating a particular format for the recipient cell?

  • I have an Ipod 4g. i was really looking fdorward to getting the iso 7 update, but its not avaiable for the itouch 4. Is there a possible way of getting the iso 7 for an itouch 4g.

I think it has to have 3.1 GB, so you will most likely have to delete a bunch of apps, download then erese all pictures onto a laptop or desktop or try to download all your iTunes song onto your account on a laptop or desktop (I tried all of them, but I only have 2.5 GB availble because I have accedentally sync over 1,000 picture onto my iPod. I also tried to make sure all my songs were up to date with my iTunes account, so I can restart my iPod.) If you restart your iPod, make sure that you have a way to save your contacts on a laptop or desktop so your can put them back in.

  • WAS 6.40 SR1 - abap client copy after java addon install

After installing the WAS 6.40 SR1 abap+java central instance and database instance... we inadvertently proceeded to install the java add-on (j2ee). We realized we needed to do an abap client copy of "000" to a new client.
Is there a way to do the client copy, then point the java engine at the new client?
If not... what are our options. Is there a way to just uninstall the existing java-addon, do the client copy, then re-install the java-addon? We're hoping that this is correctable and we don't need to do a full re-install.
Thanks in Advance for any assistance.

    Hello,

  • Unable to do the Local Client Copy

    Hi, Experts
I have created a new client, and i have logged on that client and doing the local client copy. When I see the client copy log the client copy got cancelled.
When i check the log i am getting a error saying "The System's Time Zone Cannot be Determined. Enter it Using STZAC."
The time zone maintained in INDIA.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hello
    Perform some checks
Please make sure that SAP time is same as the time on the operating system
Also make sure that u maintain time in the original client i.e the client which u r copying
Also I would recommend that you first delete the new client, then maintain all setting for time zone through the note 667169 and then again try client copy
    hope it help

Where do the "Client Copy" goes down the process in reviewing the "TCode ST22" I find the following:
    Runtime Errors         DBIF_SETG_SQL_ERROR
    Date and Time          19.08.2008 06:21:19
    Short text
SQL error occurred when accessing table.
    What can you do?
Note which actions and input led to the error.
For further help in handling the problem, contact your SAP administrator
You can use the ABAP dump analysis transaction ST22 to view and manage
termination messages, in particular for long term reference.
    How to correct the error
Database error text........: "ORA-03106: fatal two-task communication protocol
          error"
         Internal call code.........: "[SETG/GET /INDX_HIER ]"
Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
         keywords:
         "DBIF_SETG_SQL_ERROR" " "
         "SAPLSHI2" or "LSHI2U25"
         "STREE_READ_BUFFERED_DATA_GENER"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
        1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
           In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
        Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
        4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

  • Does client copy erase all the data in the target client or?

    hi
    experts
does clientcopy erase all the data in the target client or except user master records.
    regards
    rajendra.

It depends upon the profile you use for the client copy.
    if you use SAP_ALL
All data is deleted from target client and source client data is copied.
and therefore you shall see the profiles and understand them .
    SAP_ALL    All Client-Specific Data w/o Change Documents
SAP_APPL   Customizing and Application Data w/o Change Docs
    SAP_APPX   SAP_APPL w/o Authorization Profiles and Roles
    SAP_CUST   Customizing
    SAP_CUSV   Customizing and User Variants
SAP_CUSX   Customizing w/o Authorization Profiles and Roles
SAP_PROF   Only Authorization Profiles and Roles
SAP_UCSV   Customizing, User Master Records and User Variants
SAP_UCUS   Customizing and User Master Records
SAP_UONL   User Without Authorization Profiles and Roles
SAP_USER   User Master Records and Authorization Profiles
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks
    Amit
