Posting date in aging report-PLD
Hi,
I am trying to get posting date in my aging report-PLD but system is not showing any date in the field
I have selected the database and posting date in the content and linked to doc no even then there are no results
I am also trying to get docentry in PLD it doesn't display
I need to relate to doc entry from OINV instead of doc number for posting date as the doc num is repeated every year

Hi,
PLD is a simple tool. Some of them are hard coded such as aging report-PLD. You need crystal report or some other tools to reach your goal.

I know that but it is really painful to develop the whole report in crystal where it is available in SAP itself. Imagine just for one requirement i will have to build the whole report in crystal. I think SAP should give flexibility to change the hard coded reports.

In 2007B version the detailed aging report PLD doesn't contain any date field
I tried to create a date field and linked with variable but it doesn't show any values
My financial year starts every year with the new numbering series starting with 1.
Is there any method by which i can bring this date field in 'detailed aging report'

My only concern is sometimes because of only one extra field requirement we need to re-design the whole report eventhough it exists right there in the package

The only option I found out is "Data on Dates Definition -- Finish Date" in dynamic selections.
This including the Plant & Company Code selection will not exactly meet your requirement but of course can definitely reduce the search load on the system.

Show SQL issue on Posting Date and Aging Date

When I am running a report >>> the report pops up with the some parmeters >>
In my scenario u201CAging Dateu201D forumla is calculated as the last day of the every month.
if month (currentdate) = 1 then date((year(CurrentDate)-1),12,31) else
date(year(currentdate),month(CurrentDate),1)-1
Example : if 9( 23 sep 2010 ) = 1 then date ((2010(23 Sep 2010)-1),12,31) else date(2010(23 sep 2010),9( 23 Sep 2010),1)-1.
Issues :
For some reports the Aging Date parameter is poping up but for some of the reports the Aging Date forumla is calculating in the behind based on the u201CPost Dateu201D.

This means nothing in SQL and will cause whole clause to be evaluated locally and not on database

UDF on Customer Aging Report PLD
I have a UDF on the Marketing documents. I would like to display/print this UDF value on the Customer aging reports (Detail, statement, etc.) However, when trying to get this UDF to print, I am not finding that the PLD will allow access to the document (OINV) directly. Therefore, I cannot get the UDF to display.
All data on these PLD reports is referenced using "Free Text". Most of the standard fields can be displayed, but how do I get the data in the UDF available to dispaly?

Please search the forum first. You will find out the same question has been answered.
All those Free Texts are hard coded by application. UDF is not possible to show there. You need to create your own report.

Posting date field in reports S_SMC_47000016 / S_SMC_47000017
Hi all,
We are using the serice desk function for monitoring the support tickets. I have one quert related to List of notification transactions S_SMC_47000016 / S_SMC_47000017.
In the service desk whenever we run the report of all open notificaitons (S_SMC_47000017) Or Find Support Notifications (S_SMC_47000016), in the list output we do not get any data in the field "Posting Date". We do get the date in field "Valid From", but no information is getting populated in posting Date column.
If we try to search the notifications using the T Code " CRMD_ORDER" and try to get the list of notifications in the find Tab, then here the posting date gets populated.
Could you please let me know if there is any setting which is preventing from Posting Date to be populated in the T Codes S_SMC_47000016 / S_SMC_47000017.

We have chnaged the layout already, my question is that in the layout the posting date column is appearing, but the posting date is not getting updated for any notification in the output. The column remains blank.

Invoice Date on Aging Report (system)
The canned aging reports do not provide Document Date. It does provide the Invoice or Credit Memo Document Number, we need it to pull the date of these documents as well. Every customer of ours is seeking the same information on the aging reports and as of now, there is not a way to deliver same.
No,You can't display date in supplier aging report.
But as workaround you can append date
at end of vendor reference number in ap invoice
and it will show it in supplier aging expanded report.

This PLD is hard coded. If you want to add any field to it, you have to rewrite a report by yourself.

Database Field in Aging report PLD
Hi All,
I am adding a database field to system's default aging report. the field is a user defined field in oinv table. how should and what field should I link it to? there are three options in property : Link to, relate to and in next segment. I dont see how should I link docentry of current row with the docentry field on report as the docentry field is not visible at all.i was able to drag this user defined field but data that comes is a clear mess. please guide as I will have to create the entire report manually if this is not resolved.

I have done the same thing. have extracted the docnum column from the field and have linked the UDF with the formula field. but the thing I doubt causing the problem is, the report contains data from not just OINV but from JE, RC and other marketing documents and it fails to perform the join operation. any idea? the column does show data in the report but it shows it of some other invoice document and not the one shown on the row.

Even I doubted the same but in that case, it would not have shown the data at first place. it does show but of some other document. there is a join which I am not able to recognize. I want to know how do we usually join the database field. it should not be with the docnum but with the doc entry and I dont know how to get the docentry column to join it as it is no where on the report.

Default Ageing Business Partner Report PLD by Busines Partner Type
Hi Experts!
I am hoping you can help me with a PLD query I have.
I have two PLDs setup for the Business Partner Ageing Reports.
One PLD is for Debtors and contains a text field showing 'Debtor' and the other PLD is for the Creditors and contains a text field showing 'Creditor'.
When the Customer Receivables Ageing report is required, the PLD containing 'Debtor' has to be selected, and when the Supplier Liabilities Ageing report is required, the PLD containing 'Creditor' has to be is selected.
My idea was to set the 'Creditor' PLD to all the Supplier Business Partners and the 'Debtors' PLD to the Customer Business Partners, thus eliminating the need to select a PLD each time.
But when I go to the PLD and select set as default, I don't have the option to set by Business Partner, the only option I have is to set the PLD by User.
Can you help me on this one please?

It is not possible for USER Default Print method for Aging Report.
it is possible only for Marketing and Banking Document.
It is possible on PLD but it is not possible in Page Header on Aging Report PLD.

->> Create 1 formula Field in Repetitive Area Header and put the below formula in that field.
ex. Field ID -> F_160

Sales Order Posting Date on Invoice PLD
Hello,
I am trying to post a Sales Order Posting Date to our Invoice PLD. It is not native information to the Invoice PLD so I will probably need to create a query which I can then place into a UDF on the Invoice.

logic is saying Delivery number is equal to invoice row level base key

Aging report total amount has been changed
the total dollar amount for both AR aging and AP aging as of 8/31/08 keeps changing when i put new invoice in 'A/P invoice' or 'A/R invoice.'
or maybe because i cut checks through 'payment wizard' or made deposit using "incoming payments."
All the posting dates for those invoices and deposit were after 9/1/08, so it should not change the aging total as of 8/31. I don't know why it keeps changing. any ideas?sorry for the confusion...
We recently implemented the SAP system, and we're running accounting system simultaneously with peachtree right now because SAP isnt fully functioning yet.
We're trying to match aging AR & AP amount, run trial balance, and enter journal entries to match all the numbers with peachtree. That way, the beginning balance of September will match with the one of peachtree. i hope this makes sense to you...
but the total dollar amount of aging AP & AR report as of 8/31/08 is different when i excute the report every time. since it's already October and no invoices or credit memos have been issued with August date, the aging report as of 8/31/08 should not be changed at all. it doen't make sense and i don't know why this is happening... -
Printing a Customer Receivables Aging Report Doesn't Include PO #
The standard Detailed Receivables Aging report uses variable 152 that is supposed to show the Cust/Vendor Ref No. It doesn't show anything however. I tried changing it to a database field and relating it to the document #, but that didn't pull in any data either. How do I get that field to show?
I'm running B1 2005 SP 01 PL 31.Ah Derek - the aging reports that take a bit of time to understand and cause some trouble if the users do not understand how the the reports are created.
First - relating the <b>Document Number to a database</b> is not possible since those document numbers come from various tables (Invoice, Credit Memo, Journal Entry, and Payment tables). I ran into this as one customer wanted to put the Posting Date on the report - took a good half hour to convince her the detail was not coming from one database.
Second - I would suggest you <b>read the following notes: 723783 and 968174 </b>. The notes might explain where you might have a small glitch.
Third - I ran into the same situation with another client who had several fields not showing/printing. I was extremely puzzled too until I found out that they had gone into the Print Layout Designer and <b>made the width of one field larger</b> (was it the BP Reference field?) and overlayed the document number (maybe they changed the <b>starting left location on the general tab for BP Reference</b> to zero?). I cannot remember exactly what caused it - one or the other.
Fourth - they had another field not showing/printing as they had <b>unchecked the visible box</b> - no one fessed up to doing that one!
Fifth - after finding those two points and listening to their other troubles, I said "start again time" and I went out to <b>create a new Aging Report from the system-provided template</b>. I also wrote an <b>SQL that reported detail and roll-up</b> information using the Journal Entry table (joined with other tables) as a good second check for them. All were happy again and I have not heard a word back from them - I guess their aging continues onward.
Good luck - do you maybe feel like joining the "Start Again Time" crowd? Maybe the best solution?

Workflow trigger on posting date change
Dear All,
The workflow which I have implemented works as the document goes for
the approval at different levels prior to posting.If in any case some
problem occurs prior to posting like this time posting period is not
closed then the document will go to the Regional reflection center(RRC)
to post the document. There are around 600 document of 2008 pending
with RRC's for the posting.
I have made changes to the user exit ZXF09U07, it is now allowing me to
change the posting date in FV60 to the current fiscal year,but as soon
as I made changes to the posting date through the report ZFSAP2_B, the
new workflow process is getting start that means for all the documents
new workflow will start and again the whole approval process is getting
started.
Is there any way that if the posting date is change then no new
workflow will start and RRC will able to post the document with old
workitem in their inbox.
