hi, thanks for quick reply, but i am entering goods receipt with referece to purchase order..  i am entering po number and movment type 101 in MIGO and pressing enter.. so all the materials in po being copied in to GR..and after that if i want to change the 2nd material to 103 it is not allowing me... it is considering all the materials belong to 101 only...
so do i need to delete the rest of  the materials in GR and enter them individually? if i have 100 items in PO  belongs to diff mov types then do i have to enter GR 100 times? pl explain..

  • Posting of Goods Issue for a Delivery (Different movement types)

    Hello SD Experts,
We have this process wherein we use Deliveries w/o reference. There's a customization in place for this process, the movement type is determined through the item category of the material.
Given this scenario, my question is if it is possible to process the goods issue of a delivery with multiple item which require different movement types (diffrent items and item categories thus it have different movement types)?
Thank you for your kind consideration.

  • Different movement types for store Physical Count process

    Hi Experts
Would like to ask for your advice in terms of using different movement types for physical inventory process.
    The scenario is like this:
    1) Our client uses different counting processes for store inventory, with both annual full stock take AND spontaneous ad-hoc counting which is more frequent and involve probably around 30 articles a week.
    2) Both types of counting involve count result interface from a 3rd party POS system
    3) Since it is count result interface, we are considering the standard PI process (MI01, MI04, MI07, MI31, MI20, etcetc)
    4) However the standard movement type is 701/702 while our client request a different financial posting, hence different movement types, for the ad-hoc counting
So the question is very simple: Is there a way for SAP to determine using 701/702 when it is a full stock take, while using another set of Z-movement types when it is a ad-hoc count. Bare in mind that both information are the count result, not a variance adjustment, from external POS system.
Appreciate very much for your help!

  • Use a different movement type for Scrap in Production Order Confirmation

Hello gurus. I have the following question.
Is it possible to have the "Scrap" quantity during Production confirmation in a separate movement type?
Currently, when I type in the "Yield" and "Scrap" quantities, both of them are summarized into one backflush line under Movement Type 261. So for example: Yield: 10 pieces and Scrap 5 pieces; I only get one Goods Movement for 15 pieces with MvT 261.
The requirement is that whatever is typed under "Scrap" goes on a different movement type (e.g. 551), because then it will be easy to follow (inventory-wise) how many pieces were used in production and how many were scrapped.
    Is it possible?

    Thanks for your reply Krishna.
Well, I notice that when I type a quantity in the "Scrap" field, the difference with "Yield" is that I simply don't get the produced material on stock (in the case of the last operation with a GR for instance). I just get the backflushed quantity.
But yes, I guess in this transaction, I'm scrapping the produced material, the components are still issued. I was just wondering if perhaps they could be split in 261 for normal backflush and 551 for backflush that didn't generate any finished assembly.
    Thanks for your insight.

  • Standard Report for Materials Cost Component Structure - PO Condition Type

    Dear experts,
We are using below cost component structure (CCS) for materials:
    - Direct materials
    - import duty
    - import handling
In which, all those above CCS are achieved through below condition type in Purchasing Info Record. When doing the standard cost estimate through costing run, we have successfully grouped all those condition types into their respective CCS. The problem is, while executing the standard report of "result of costing run" (S_ALR_87099930), the sytem groups all those three CCS into CCS "Direct materials" only.
I have tried different standard layouts, but still got no way to show all those CCS separately in the standard report.
Please kindly suggest what approach should i take
    Thank you very much

    Hi
Check cost elements assigned to structure.  For this go to transaction code OKTZ and select your CCS and double click on Assignment Cost Component-Cost element interval.

  • Amount on Goods receipt for return orders is wrong with movement type 653

Hi All, I am sorry if it is a simple question because i am an abap'er.
My requirement is to create return sales order (with ref.to Billing document) and deliver and PGI for the return orders. This should go to sales order stock. Accounting document should be generated for material document and the amount should be picked up from condition type (if man.cond. type exist) else from material master.
    1) Created a sales order (Bought in item cat) - Create PO (Non stock) - Receive goods (MIGO) - Create Delivery (VL01N) -   PGI (Movement type 601 and special stock indic. 'E') - Create billing document (F2 type from VF01)
So far it is good. The account document is created (PGI - cost of goods) with correct amount as desired
The next scenario is if the material is returned? This is where we are having issues
Created sales order with ref.to billing doc. (S.O: RE. Item.Cat. Return Bought in (YRBI)... this is pretty much same as bought in except few things which are YRBI  - Delivered - PGI (Goods returns. unrestricted) Movement type 653 - Problem comes here.
    a) If i put special stock indic 'E' in 'Return bought in item.cat - There is no accounting document generated for 653 movement type.
    b) if i maintain space instead of 'E' in return bought in item.cat - there is an accounting document but the manual cost is not copied to accounting document and it is picking up from material master which we dont want and The stock is not showing up in sales order.
I did my research (forum, OSS, google, and in help.sap.com) before posting here but no help.
I have checked account assignment categories for 'A' - (some post explained this) I tried changing values but no help.
I even tried changing the schedule line category to DN but no help.
I dont know what i forgot to change or check but i have tried everything what i know and from help from different sources ... still couldnt get it.
Original requirement is to make the return stock as sales order stock and this can also be returned to vendor. If there is a manual cost in return sales order, the PGI accounting document should be created with this condition value else from material master.
    My pricing settings are good.
It would be really helpful if any one guide me to configure the process or atleast if anyone tells me what am i missing... .

  • A different Movement Type for GR

    Dear Friends
my customer requirements are as mentioned below
We will confirm production order of a component M2. M2 has a BOM
BOM of M2= M1+ Chips Dross
Once we will confirm production order of M2, M2will be generated through 101, M1 will be generated through Z08( copy of 101) , chips will be consumed through 261, and dross will be generated thru 531?
How can it be established for a production order? Is there any SAP standard movement type available that can be used for GR in production order?
    Thanks
    Chandra

U can do BY CO PRODUCT SCENARIO- Maintain Coproduct indiacator for Both The material master in mRP 2 view, & in BOM of the M2, maintain the Coproduct inducator for  M1 and quantity as - ve quantity . Chips  as a + ve quantity, and dross as a - ve quantity.
And maintain a Apportionment strrucure in MRP 2view for M2  in Joint production( take the help of CO Consultant for creating the structure and maintain the % of equivalence)
Auto GR is not possible in COPRODUCT,
In MB31 u can get the both material with movement type 101.

  • Posting Rules in Results Analysis for COSR must go to different GL

WE have "Non Valuated KMAT Sales Order Stock" scenario.
It posts COS at time of settlement of Sales Order. Everything works fine. We have a new scenario.
Currently both interco and external customer sales order posts to same COS GL at time of settlement.
Interco KMAT sales orders during settlement must post to Interco COS GL.
In OKG8 - RA Category "COSR" Key is used to post the the GL account.
    I have CoArea/CoCd/RAVersion/RACategory for COSR.
Is it possible for system to differentiate and post to different GL, when settling IntercoSales Order vs Regular sales order

    Hi Kala,
We had similar scenario and this what we have implemented.
created two Result Analysis keys.one for Regular one and one for Interco
created two usages one for interco business and one for regular one and which is populated each sales order line item.
    based on usage,RA key populated.
If usage External : RA key "A" or If Interco "RA key "B".
1.Assign  cost elements to respective line ids in OKG5 by RA key
2.Assign line id to RA cost element(31) in OKG4 by RA key(create seperate 31 cost elements for both RA keys)
3.Assign RA cost element(31) to Balance sheet and P&L accounts in OKG8 based.
    Hope this helps you.
    Thanks,

  • Transfer posting of goods from sales order to sales order

    Hi Sap experts
Can anyone please tell me what is the movement type for trasfering goods from one sales order to another sales order and tell me what r the steps i should follow for this .

    Hi,
What do you mean by transfer posting from sales order to sales order? The movement type will come into picture when a material document is involved that means goods are issued/received.
    Elaborate more on your query.

  • Movement type for stock transfer from investment order to the regular stock

    Hi,
Is there any movement type for the transfer from investment order to storage location stock? We have wrong created purchase orders, where the GR transferred the items to the investment orders. The problem is, that there already a lot of invoices posted on this items..
    Is there any clever solution?

    Hi
In MTO scenario the stocks are manufactured for the particular sales order and in MMBE the stocks are managed as sales order stocks assigned to that particular sales order no
This is due to the sales order item cat in MTO carrying specal stock indicator as E
Opening these stocks to unrestricted is meaningless and not possible because costing and all would have been done according to the sales order
    Non MTO scenario
+Note MTO stocks are different and sales order stocks are different+
All MTO stocks are managed as sales order stocks
But not all sales order stocks are MTO stocks
But if you want move the stocks from a sales order to unrestricted then MB1B movement type 411 E
Moving stocks from one sales order to another sales order  MB1B movement type 413 E

  • Re: Changing Inspection lot origin from 08 to 05 for movement type 322 and 349

Reference discussion:  Changing Inspection lot origin from 08 to 05 for movement type 322 and 349
With reference to the above discussion and your explanation for user EXIT QAAAT0001, it was stated that:
If you only have two inspection types, you can mark one as preferred.  Then with exit use logic that if MM = 311 use preferred inspection type, if 911 use, non-preferred inspection type.
May I ask what are you refer to for MM? It seems like movement type to me, however, I can't find movement type field in the structure within the component of EXIT_SAPLQAAT_002.  Appreciate if you could shed some light on this.

Branched from older discussion by moderator.  When there are questions concerning an older discussion, please create a new discussion with reference to the older one.  Thanks!

Yes.. you are correct.  But with the info that is provided by EXIT_SAPLQAAT_002, you should be able to identify the proper material document in table MSEG which will have the material movement.
You can use the values of plant, batch, material number, Purchase order number, Order number, item number, storage location as well as the current date since the exit would normally be executed on the same date the material movement was done.  You'd also probably only execute the logic if QKZ is "X".
