Storage Condition field in Material Master Grayed Out.

Hi folks,
We are trying to use the Storage Condition field in a Material Master Plant Data/ Storage Location View. However I noticed the filed is grayed Out.
Then I looked at the Configuration in "Field Selection for Data Screen**" and the selection group 87 which is already selected as Optional which means it should let me pick the Storage Condition field.
**(SPRO->Log Gen->Mat Master->Filed Selection->Maintain Field Selection for Data Screen.)
Please note, I have already created Storage Conditions in SPRO. I am not trying to create new conditions now. I am just not able to pick one and enter it while creating or updating a Material Master.

where exactly you are looking at that you are so certain that is is optional?
In OMSR find your field selection group, then click the button on the right to the field selection group to see in which field reference it is used..
You can probably see many many field references.
There is e.g. a field reference for the transaction, at least for transaction MM03 your field selection should be display only.
there is a field reference for your material type,
there is a field reference for your industry (M, C etc ... the indicator you have to enter in MM01 initial screen)
there is a field reference for your material type,
Are all references (except MM03) are set to optional, or do you see references with display only among them?

Sign-in quickly with a four digit number grayed out

The "ADD" button is grayed out for the "Sign-in quickly with a four digit number" logon option. I am not part of a domain. I do not have e-mail that belong to a domain other than hotmail. How do I turn this option back on.
SOmethings I have tried:
I did go to gpedit.msc to turn the group policy "Turn on PIN sign in" to "Enabled"
Does not seem to work. Any help appreciated please.

What's the meaning? Did this computer join the domain?
Please logon with that Hotmail account, then navigate to the following location
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon
In the right side pane, double click on Turn on PIN sign-in and make sure it is enabled.
After that, restart to check the result.

Why is my phone number grayed out in Facetime?

I dont get what happened with iOS6... but apparently I cannot use my phone number for facetime? As it is grayed out and I cannot check it off as the address to receive Facetime...
Also... I am now showing up in peoples phones as 2 contacts... one with my phone number and one with my email address... Why did this happen? how do i merge them?

By chance, are you running a Mac with Mountain Lion OSX 10.8.2? If so, I noticed something similar.... I now have my phone number and email address for use in Facetime and Messages. Maybe your user friends have not upgraded to iOS6, because both addresses only show in iOS I believe. iOS 5 only shows one or the other address.

IMessage phone number grayed out

My phone number is grayed out in iMessage. I've restarted my phone and reset the network settings, etc. I've also logged out of iMessage and back it but it's still grayed out. The same thing happens with FaceTime.
Thoughts.

Not sure what you mean by "it won't let me send with my number using iMessage"?
Again, that is how it looks normally:
The first number you see listed above is the number of the iPhone that iMessages is set up on. The second number is another iPhone number that I manually entered.
You can see that the first number is greyed out (as it should be).
Does your number have a check mark next to it?
If not, then that is the issue, not that it is greyed out.
If the number does not have a check mark next to it, then sign out of iMessage by clicking on your Apple ID at the top of the screen under Settings>iMessages, and then sign back in again. Do the same with FaceTime if that is the issue there.

How to mapped Gray out field in web dynpro for ABAP.

While preparing a WD Application i m using a RFC,which has one input parameter as MODE.
IF MODE = 'DIS' (DIS stands for Display) then all fields of layout in web dynpro should be gray out.
and
IF MODE = 'MOD' (MOD stands for Modification) then all fields of layout in web dynpro should be opened of entering the data.
Can anyone help me to solved this scenario.

I had the same issue a while ago. I ended up with an assistance class with set/get read only methods. I then used the following type code to set the read only property in the WDDOMODIFYVIEW:

How to gray out fields in VA01 & VA02

Hi All,
My requirement is to restrict manual entries of line items.
While creating a credit memo with refrence to billing document the items from billing document gets copied to this document.
User wants to restrict entering more line items apart from these.
Therefore the rows after the last line item should be grayed out i.e in display mode. (Not the columns).
This should happen in VA01 & VA02 transaction.
I have found the Userexit_field_modification in include MV45AFZZ.
Also the screen nunmber is 4902 and table control TCTRL_U_ERF_GUTLAST whose screen input should be 0.
Please let me know if there is some other way by which this can be achieved also if this is correct; then how should I proceed with the logic.

Hi,
For doing so you can use the concept of the transaction variants. Using transaction variants, you can do the below:
1) Make fields mandatory on screen
2) Hide fields on the screen
3) Default values on screen fields
4) Make fields input disable on screen.
Hence for doing this, go to SHD0 transaction and do the recording for the standard transaction. Once done Save the transaction variant.
Finally from menu((tab page: Standard Variant in SHD0): Activate as Standard Transactions variant.
Give the Name as your Transaction variant name.
Once you active the transaction variant as the standard variant, then if the std transaction is called, the screens which you defined in the transaction variant will be called.
No code changes need to be done. The transaction variant will only change the appearance of the screens

Grayed out field, but there is no screen variant in SHD0

I am in the middle of a configuration of sales order using Third Party.
In VOV6 for the incompletion Procedure (V_TVEP-FEHGR) the field is grayed out and wont allow an input.
How can I find out where is the code to make this happen, I already look on SHD0 and there are no variants for that program/screen.

HI,
Switch on the debugger(/h) before calling the tcode.
Now oen tcode..in debugger, place breakpoint at statement - MODIFY.
Now keep pressing F8 and look for MODIFY SCREEN, which will be there after graying out the field.

Phone number grayed out but has a check mark next to it?

Ever since I updated to iOS 8, I've had this problem with my iMessages were when I go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive I notice that my phone number is grayed out and has a check mark next to it, but with my email address which I use for iCloud, it has a check mark next to it and it isn't grayed out like my phone number. I've already tried resetting my network to get my phone number to ungray but that didn't work.
So far from what I've seen a lot of people have been having this problem. Has anyone found the right way to fix it? I'm also having this issue with my Facetiming too. Thank you.

Ok, I just did what you suggested. I signed out for both, restarted my phone using the home and on/off button, then signed back in. Now it's at a step where it says the following:
iMessage
People will message you using your email address. What would you like to use?
Then it says my phone number and my email. My phone number is checked and grayed out still and I can tap on my email to check it off or check it off. What should I do at this step? Not check my email address?

Hi! Just wanna ask if this also happened to you. In the phone dialer, the box where in you can enter the name or number manually is not functioning. It was gray out. This happened when I upgraded to Lollipop. Hope you can help me. Thanks.

have you by chance tried some of the basics, such as restarting the handset and removing the SIM and placing it back in again?
If you have and seem to have the same issue, you could try clearing the Phone dialer app.
Menu > Settings > apps > All > Phone > Clear Data.

Config settings to gray out "Reqted Qty" field while creating TO via LT03

Could anyone please me in this. I would like to gray out "Requested Quantity" field when creating TO via LT03 transaction. Can anyone please let me know where the config setting needs to be maintained inorder to gray out the "Requested Quantity" in LT03 transaction.

Hi,
no there is not such a functionality.
From a field settings perspective you may work at account group level, =>OBD2 or OVT0
and/or at transaction type level => OB20
With OB20 you can distinguish between creation and change.
You may also react per authorisation. See F_KNA1_EAN. In that case you may gray out fields individually.

New validation - don't inform material number when creating

Hello!!!
I'd need to create a validation in order to avoid informing the field 'SAP Material number' when creating a new entry in MDM Data Manager for specific material types (material type is a lookup field which has two values, let's say 1 and 2).
For material type 1, we need to inform, when creating the entry, the material type 1, supplier name and supplier reference, but not the SAP material number, as it comes informed through an interface from SAP R/3.
For material type 2, we only need to inform the SAP material number.
Could you guide me on how to do this validation?

The data flow is as follows:
There are two scenarios, one for Goods:
1. Add new record into the Data Manager.
2. Inform field 'Material type' (lookup field) Goods.
3. Inform field 'Supplier name' (lookup field).
4. Inform field 'Supplier reference' (text field).
5. Field 'SAP material number' must be left EMPTY when creating the new record. Once it's created, there is an interface from SAP R/3 which updates through ABAP API the records, informing the SAP material number and other fields informed in SAP R/3.
The validation should avoid that the user informs the material number when creating the new record.
Second scenario is for Finished Goods:
1. Add new record into the Data Manager.
2. Inform field 'material type' (lookup field) Finished goods.
3. Inform field 'SAP material number' (text field).
4. Optionally it is possible to inform Supplier name and Supplier reference, but it's not always inform.
There is already a validation rule that force the user to inform 'Supplier name and supplier reference for Goods, and for Finished goods it's mandatory to inform the SAP material number.
There is another field which is 'Unique key' which is a calculated field and it's composed by SAP material number + Supplier number + Supplier reference.
Our problem is to avoid that the user informs the SAP material number only for Goods. If the user does it, the interface will not work as it is designed.

IOS Certificat, iOS App Development is grayed out

In order to submit my app i need this certificat, but its grayed out. I have tried on Safari, Firefox crome, i have refreched, i have delited cokies and historic ... even tried with my login on another mac ... unfurtunatly with the same grayed out field. Not able to choose it, the same happens with the production certificat App Store and Ad Hoc
What would be a solution?
