seeing that other sites already included the new pokemon x and y limited addition 3ds xl, will best buy provide a pre-order for the console?

They literally must have listed them this afternoon, because they weren’t there this morning.
You could check back tomorrow to see if they have updated the console for shipping, but my guess is that they may all be going to the stores and there may not be any available for shipping through BestBuy.com.

I was able to place an order for the new 3DS XL MM Edition via bestbuy.com. My order shows processing so all seems well. My question is in regards to when this will ship? I usually use amazon.com for online preorders as they are shipped so that they arrive on release day. Is this the same with bestbuy.com? If not, would it be possible to switch to in-store pickup so that I can get the item on release day? Thanks.

Destiny Limited Edition Pre-order and My Best Buy

If you pre-order Destiny on any console, you get a $10 certificate. Does this apply to the limited edition version as well?

With the recent additions of the Limited and Ghost Editions of Destiny, it’s no surprise there would be questions about your My Best Buy benefits when pre-ordering the different versions! Like everyone else, I’m pretty excited to check out Destiny, although I only went with the Standard Edition. I’m beginning to wonder if I should have splurged for at least the Limited Edition.
To answer your question, yes, the Limited Edition should also apply to the $10 My Best Buy Reward Certificate bonus when pre-ordering with Best Buy. To my knowledge, all physical versions of Destiny, including the Ghost and Limited Edition, qualify for the promotion.

Pre-Order New 3ds lx, Misspelled Shipping Address.

I misspelled the street name on my shipping address I put "st" instead of "s", I have everything else all correct though. (zip code, city, state) Will the shipping company correct/send it?

Destiny Limited Edition Pre-Order Bonus $10 Issue

I pre-ordered Destiny 2 months ago online for in-store pickup. Went to the midnight release and was told that they didn't have my game (Destiny XB1 LE). I went home, called bestbuy.com and asked what was going on. She said it showed in store, and to pick it up in the morning. Go back in the morning of release day and am told that they were shipped 360 LEs by mistake and that no other store anywhere had a limited edition. I go back at the end of the week and ask what is going to be done - they initially say nothing. The manager then gets on the phone and starts calling stores - lots of stores - and finds a copy and has it shipped in. When I go to buy it, they cancel my pre-order and ring it up under a new transaction (i.e. no $10 in points). Could I still get my $10 in points?

It seems to me you pre order and then you register it with the serial number after you receive the product to get the 8 year warranty.
Products have to be registered within 30 days from original date of pre-order purchase to receive our limited 8 years warranty. (Products failed to register within 30 days will still receive standard 3 years warranty).
A little extra research by you would have come up with this same little tidbit of information.

Destiny - $10 Reward Certificate for Pre-order and Purchase

So as the title states, according to BB's promotion,anyone that pre-orders the Destiny game and purchases it, gets a $10 reward certificate.
I was one of the lucky few that actually pre-ordered the Destiny Limited Edition and did not have it get cancelled due to limited suppy. Regardless, why doesn't the Destiny Limited Edition have the special offer for the $10 reward certificate for pre-order and purchase? I am hoping this is just an oversite.

This is really bad customer service. Because they had to guess on the iPhone 3G measurements, I need to pay out of pocket to get a replacement (shipping cost)??

EVERYONE... I pre-ordered also and got the original one on but it didn't look great so I called and got the new redesigned one sent to me.
IT IS TERRIBLE. The redesigned one is worse than the first one. The front screen wraps around the edges of the phone. If you haven't looked there is a seam that runs around the front glass piece. This causes major air bubbles and making it impossible to put the redesigned on on.
Also the back has its problems too.
Best solutions.
1. return it all and get your money back.
2. get another one reshipped but make sure it is the original.
I got the original one shipped to me again and got it on correctly but after a few days it keeps fraying up. Whats next......

In Store Pre Order

This has been an on going problem that I hope can get fixed. I went in store today. The games I wanted were finally on the videogame kiosk machine to order. Print out all the games I want. Go to the counter and none of the games work. I couldn't pre order not one game I wanted. By the time the system gets fixed of course they will be sold out and I will be out of luck. The games were Rock Band 4. The Division Collectors Edition and Fallout Pipboy edition. Fallout just appeared on the machine and of course it's sold out. Can I get some help with this please so I can pre order in store

We appreciate that you came to your local Best Buy store for your game pre-orders, but I’m sorry to hear about the disappointment you experienced when you weren’t actually able to reserve these games.
Generally, collectors/limited editions of games are not available for pre-order in-store. Regrettably, there are occasions where these titles accidently get listed on the touchscreen kiosk when they shouldn’t. In those cases, you usually don’t find out until you get to the register and the store can’t actually do the pre-order.
As of right now, we have not started taking pre-orders for Rock Band 4, but hopefully this should be up soon. Unfortunately, we are now sold out on pre-orders for Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition and Tom Clancy’s The Division Collector’s Edition is only available for pre-order to ship to your home.

I have been waiting for the WHITE iPHone as many others have. I have seen a release date for the "end of July" and July 30 in limited quantities. Can we pre-order them and have them shipped or pick them up in the store like they're doing for the black ones?

Overcharged for Pre-Order

I recently pre-ordered a Nintendo New 3DS XL (Red) and paid a $50 deposit in store. When I went to purchase the item on Friday, Feb. 13, the computer screen showed the price after the deposit, but the card reader showed $202.29, which was the amount after a $10 gift card and a $5 Best Buy reward certificate. I assumed this was supposed to happen and the $50 deposit would simply be refunded. It does show on my receipt that I paid the deposit, but the total still shows $202.29. My credit card account shows that I was charged for both the $50 and the $202.29 for a total of $252.29 for the item. Is it possible to get this situation sorted without having to go back to the store?

This certainly sounds strange, as your $50 deposit towards your Nintendo New 3DS XL should have been applied directly to the purchase. I am sorry to hear there may have been a hiccup with the POS system causing this issue, as we have not heard of this being a widespread issue.
Using the email address you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your purchase and see that the deposit appears on the receipt, however, the price was not appropriately adjusted. Hi I pre-ordered Destiny: Limited Edition, and picked up the game on 9/9. I was under the impression that this pre-order included a $10 reward certificate. Was this on my receipt? How do I get my reward? I checked my best buy but don't see it on there.

If you picked up your Destiny pre-order within 7 days of the official release date, then you should qualify for the "Get $10" pre-order offer. It can generally take 20 days for the bonus certificate/points ($10 = 500 points) to officially post to a member's My Best Buy™ account. I used the email address you registered with the forum to review your account, and from what I can see, your 500 bonus points have already posted. You will need to scroll back in your points history to July when the pre-order was originally placed to view those points.
