= Hard to understand, because accent - Added a subtitles. I know, it doesn't fix it. But it's better than nothing.
= Didn't like the "lol" moment - Made a version, where all the music & "fun" moments were removed.
= Also, added a pretty rubust "timestamp" area in the descriptions.

Haskell State Monad Tutorial: looking for feedback

I've written a tutorial of sorts for the Haskell state monad because I found it hard to grok at first (at least as a Haskell noob coming from an imperative background) and none of the explanations that I've found dissect it this way.

I'm thinking about your suggestion but so far I can't decide whether or not to implement it.
Looking through the text, I agree that "transition" works in most cases (e.g. "state transformer" -> "state transition function", stateTransformer -> stateTransitionFunction). At the same time, I see the function inside the state monad as a function which takes a state and changes (transforms) it, yielding a new state. I would say that the application of the function leads to a transition of state. My first instinct is to say that it's a matter of perspective. If you focus on the function, it's a transformation. If you focus on the state, it's a transition.
I want to give it a bit more thought before I decide.
Do you really think there's any risk of confusion with monad transformers? Also, what did you think of the tutorial in general?

If you have been syncing with itunes on a computer, then should not be a problem. If you've never dones so, then you should. If you don't have a computer, then at least set up icloud on your device and perform a backup in icloud.

Went around the long way and reinstalled Mavericks since the Mac was acting a little flakey occasionally of late, and now the printer as once again been installed and works ok by wire. Have not yet had time to try to connect wirelessy yet, so...

Mercury Transmit not working properly for Premiere Pro in Yosemite for me

Hi.
Since I am not in the middle of a big project I consciously updated the OS to Yosemite, and for me everything in I do in Premiere is working fine, except for Mercury Transmit when I have Mercury Playback Engine enabled for the project (It was working in Mavericks). When I do enable it I have a white screen in my second hdmi monitor and Premiere crashes. Whan I have it in software only it works, not very fluid and sometimes the media disconnects for a few seconds, sometimes there's a lag. I have macbook pro retina late 2013, Is it a problem with the Inter Iris graphics card? Will it work with a future update? Thanks for the feedback and keep up the great work!

Please make sure the default permission of this user’s Calendar is AvailabilityOnly and the user who can view the details of this calendar doesn’t have any permission to this mailbox and Calendar:
Get-MailboxFolderPermission –Identity UserA:\Calendar | FL
Get-MailboxPermission –Identity UserA | FL
If the permission is configured properly, please let all other users to view this user’s calendar in OWA or Outlook online mode to check whether they can view the details or not.

Just saw your post. Better late than never. You may want to
consider GameBrix.com, where you can create Flash based, casual
games using your web browser. No downloads are required. You can
create a game from scratch using a library of images, sounds and
game mechanics. You can also upload your own. The online script
editor will allow you to view and edit the ActionScripts associated
with each game mechanic. In short, a great way to ramp up on game
design and build your own game without investing a lot of $
upfront.
BTW I am associated with GameBrix so any feedback is

I have always done what you suggest (works fine in FCP7), but in FCPX when I do that the camcorder icon

If so, what happens when you try to download? Is it a case of nothing happens? If so, take a look at the suggestions under 'Stalled Download' in this link:

Also, some usrs have found that logging out of the Mac App Store and then back in again and starting over has kick-started the download. It seems that the 5+gb download can take a long time to give any feedback as to what's happening.

I have an HP laptop preloaded with Adobe Premiere Elements 10. For whatever reason Elements will "run" on click, but not even open the load screen or anything and then act like I never tried to open it? whats going on?

I bought my HP laptop in 2012, and it came preloaded with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop Elements 10
It worked fine and I even made a few video edits back in 2012 but for the last year Elements just REFUSES to work properly
I used to be able to open elements to at least the "what do you want to do?" screen
But now It won't even open this...I have no idea why...
If I double click the Elements application my computer slows down, bracing itself to load, and then ....thats it....it reverts to its normal speed and elements just doesn't open...
Any help would be great cause I feel like I've exhuasted all self-troubelshooting options and need to either get help from the forums or take the laptop in before I smash it in rage

Thanks for the reply with additional information.
Recent history for Premiere Elements points to the program having problems when more than 1 video card/graphics card is
being used by the computer on which Premiere Elements is running. This observation may seem contra indicated by the fact
that you say that the program did work well about 2 years ago in the same setup. But other factors may have set in with regard
to drivers, drivers versions, and driver conflicts. But this factor, does need to be ruled in or out.
Can you disable one or the other card to determine the impact of this on your problem?
But, of prime concern with regard to video card/graphics card is the use of a NVIDIA GeForce card with Premiere Elements 10.
Even if your NVIDIA GeForce were the only card, Premiere Elements 10 will not work properly unless the NVIDIA GeForce driver
version is rolled back to about May 2013. This may be one of the major factors here.
a. Device Manager/Display Adapters and find out Driver Version and Driver Date
b. Read the background information for the Premiere Elements 10/NVIDIA GeForce issue

How to get info from a .class file at run time? thanks for help

I need to get methods and properties (variables) from a .class file at run time.
as u know, javap.exe can do that in an independent way. but i need to get info at run time once the .class or packeges have been changed, javap is not suitable in the case.
i try to read data directly from .class file but it's hard to know the file format.
e.g. a class looks like (java file):
class MyClass extends Frame
int i0;
String s0;
public String getName()
if the file is compiled to .class file, how to get properties (variables: i0,s0) and methods String getName() from the .class file by an applicaton at run time?
Doclet is not suitable for speed reason, it is too slow to get right info in right format.

Tutorial 2 for BAPI WDA - set column settings in Wizard - page 7, step 4.

To the Pretty Good WDA Programmers, and/or Experts,
     I am new at this, so any help is appreciated.
     In the tutorial: Dynpro for ABAP: Tutorial 2 - BAPI Usage at: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/9cb5d345-0801-0010-6a8e-fc57c23fd600 has in page 7, step 4. Seems a little vague to me:
The Required Methods and Context Elements
On the two subsequent dialog windows, default values are listed for giving names to the context nodes and attributes required by the service call as well as to the required methods. The proposed names are based on the names of the embedded service, but you can change them as required.
    So the question is, in the wizard for page 7, step 4, what are the column settings set to: Parameter Values / Controller Attribute / Context Node ... to get the BAPI Input/Output and Changing columns looking like they do in the tutorial on the next page (pg 8)?
   Step-by-step, or in this case, column-by-column directions would be most helpful!

   Thank you for those screen-shots Trikanth. They definitely helped point me in the right direction. The problem was that all of the 'Changing' structure sub-structures would end up in the view node.
   When I would try to map 'Changing | Flight_List' with the context, a message would appear: 'Mapping is only possible for Flight_List if Parent is Mapped'. Then when I mapped the entire 'Changing' node, it would map to the Component Controller, but then it would not map correctly to the output display table.
   Apparently only one dimension of structures could be mapped. A (deep) structure of structures cannot be.
   So in step 4, in the wizard, to make this work, I had to only make visible 'Changing' by what you both kindly confirmed: making it Context.
Settings Summary: Root Node- unchangable.
Parameter Group 'Importing'- Context (Node/Attribute)- Unchangeable
Parameters- Airline - Changed to Context (Node/Attribute)
Dest_From              - Changed to Context (Node/Attribute)
Dest_To                  - Changed to Context (Node/Attribute)
Max_Rows              - Changed to Context (Node/Attribute)
Parameter Group 'Changing'- Context (Node/Attribute)- Unchangeable
Date_Range            - left as Controller Attribute
Extension_In           - left as Controller Attribute
Flight_List               - Changed to Context (Node/Attribute) <---
Extension_Out         - left as Controller Attribute
Return                     - left as Controller Attribute
So, when 'Changing' and ONLY 'Flight_List' was made visible in the node, it mapped correctly to both the Context node and to the output table columns.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC Support for Importing / Exporting H.265 (HEVC) 4K Video

Hi there,
Does any know about how to export 4K content direct from premiere pro in the new H.265 HEVC codec in 4K resolution, or do you know of any third party software for Mac that can do this?
I am having a problem finding a solution and frankly am surprised that this isn't already included in Premiere Pro CC. Thanks for the help!
I ask because I am exporting VERY large 4K files (they are 1-2 hour long Nature Relaxation videos) and so naturally being able to export at the new H.265 would be a blessing!

I'm having the exact same problem with my machine!!! I was so excited to run across your post / thread, just because I've dealt with this since December as well.
MBPr (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)
Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 / NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Apple replaced the logic board in my machine in December after determining a bad GPU. Same exact screens and problems, glitches.. Sometimes getting kicked out of my account. When I log back in, it's just a matter of a few minutes before it locks up.
First I was thinking it was the CUDA driver.. Uninstalled it.. Still have the issues.. Apple pushed me to split my SSD and install a clean OS X install, new user.. reinstall apps.. Still have the same issues..
Went around this with Apple in February/March.. Was killing me with deadlines. Now, I'm back working on several large projects and for the past few weeks, the crashes and machine freeze ups are killing me. Got fed up and I'm back trying to seek help through Apple Executive Relations. I've spent countless hours trying to diagnose, working with support, visiting the local Apple store..
The kicker is that we have three of these exact machines in my team at work, all using the same Adobe CC apps/Premiere Pro.. Mine is the only one that is doing this. I will have graphic glitches when the machine wakes from sleep. I also have the screen changing color profiles -- you can see it shift (I have my machine color calibrated) from the default to the custom profile.
I would be happy to post a bunch of photos of the same graphic issues.. I have no solution at this point. Adobe, can you help us? I still believe it is a GPU issue and not software related.
